Porscha's story

We adopted Porscha into our family 4 and a half years ago. We were her 4th or 5th home in her 5 years so we knew when we adopted her that she had needs and issues. We decided that we could accommodate those issues and opened our home to her. She definitely needed a secure backyard and lots of company. She became a sister/mother to our other fur baby a shelty called Forrest and it wasn't long before she embedded herself into our hearts. She has the most gentle nature, loves her walks, pats, cuddles and is completely obsessed with playing ball. Her favourite place to sleep is in our ensuite near us. She is now starting to show signs of old age. She has cataracts, the occasional episode of incontinence and has been diagnosed with the early signs of canine dementia, but she is ours and we will continue to love and care for her the rest of her life. Adopting Porscha is one of the best things that we have done, the love we have given her is nothing compared to the love and devotion that she has given us. Opening your home and heart up to a dog is one of the most satisfying things that you can do.
