Meet Charlie

Charlie has been in foster care for a few months now and is a very different dog than when he first arrived.

Charlie is now a happier and friendlier but it does take a while for him to adjust to new people. He seems to be more relaxed around younger adults and seems to have a complex about older adults which could have something to do with this past. Charlie is protective of his yard and owners and will bark at people visiting.

Charlie is an outside dog and still needs further obedience training.

He will sit with coaching for food treats. He works very well on a lead and really enjoys his walks around the neighbourhood.

He is happy to be around familiar people and looks for attention. He does not mind driving in the car. He is probably best suited in a home without young children and he would prefer younger to middle aged adults for company.

Charlie is possessive of his food but he has started to relax a little more about sharing.

Charlie has bonded well with the foster carer’s Beagle and they get along well together but they can play a little rough from time to time. He would be best suited in a home without other dogs although he has shown he can adjust to another dog in the yard however he just needed time and patience. He will be best suited to a home whom is prepared to give him plenty of time and attention.

He has been microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. He is confirmed by the vet as having been previously desexed.

He is currently in foster care in Quakers Hill
