Meet Zelig

Zelig was found abandoned with his two siblings at a building site at just a week old. He is a happy boy that is very confident around people, having been raised by humans. He loves his food, cuddles and play-wrestling with his siblings.

Zelig is looking for a a safe indoor-only home with a devoted family that will love him forever. He will be ready for his new home once he reaches 1kg but pre-adoption enquiries are most welcome. He comes litter-trained, vaccinated, microchipped and his desexing is covered in his adoption fee. He is in foster care in Glenmore Park, NSW.

SPONSORSHIP NEEDED: At 3.5 weeks old Zelig had to be rushed to the emergency vets on New Year’s Eve as he was unresponsive and convulsing after having had, what the vets believe, aspirated. He was placed on a drip, and given oxygen and antibiotic injections. He had to stay overnight but miraculously made a complete recovery and was discharged the next day to be with his two siblings who missed him dearly. The meaning of the name Zelig is ‘blessed’. We are asking for donations to help with his $450 vet bill.

Zelig was adopted on 03 February 2018 after 1 month in foster care

Zelig has sadly had additional veterinary expenses due to illness or injury. We are seeking sponsorship for Zelig to help us cover some of those additional costs.
