Meet Leo
AVAILABLE FOR MEET AND GREET FROM FRIDAY 18TH DECEMBER; REHOMING SHORTLY AFTER
Mum and her 4 kittens (Lucy, Leo, Maddie and Milo) were surrendered into the care of DCH after being rescued struggling to survive in a back garden. They were all treated for cat flu immediately, only for them to develop ringworm (a common fungal condition) during their recovery. The poor little mites were, however well fed, vet treated, medicated and bathed to make them all better, and basically have been pampered as though they are in a spa! Despite being in isolation in a (rather large) space until recently, they’ve also had a great time - playing with just about anything, getting up to mischief, sleeping, eating, and snuggling with each other and their foster mum.
Like all kittens, they are full of beans in between naps – particularly just after dinner and early morning!
Leo is the baby of the bunch. He’s quite a bit smaller than the others, but that doesn’t stop him and he’ll get in there for a tumble around with the rest of them. He’s got a quirky tail that curls up over his back, which is very cute. He’s now enjoying his belly rubs, and is getting used to being picked up. He loves curling up with his sister, Lucy
Now fully healed, each member of the family is ready for his/her furever home. A family without resident cats or dogs would be preferable – so maybe you’d wish to consider adopting more than one of this little tribe! All must be indoor-only kitties – particularly as they all have little pink noses, which can be susceptible to skin cancer.
Leo is vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated, and desexed. So he is raring to go to his new home.
