Luna

Luna

Domestic Short Hair - female - 5 months

Luna was found by herself in the engine bay of a car. She came into care quite scared and timid. She has now warmed up to her foster carers and enjoys sleeping in their laps or curling up beside them. She is very energetic and playful, but can still get jumpy around strangers.

Luna will need to go to a home that will be patient with her while she comes out of her shell. We feel she would benefit going to a home with another cat and no young children. Luna doesn't like to be picked up, but once she is comfortable she will come to you for love herself.

Well socialised in a family environment with older children and two resident cats.

Luna needs to go to an indoor only home. She is fully litter trained and comes microchipped, desexed, up to date on vaccinations, flea and worm treated. Luna will be available for adoption after the 2nd of January.

Please provide us with as much information about your family and home when enquiring.

Located in Plumpton, NSW

Luna has been in foster care since 12 December 2020, for 2 months

Elvis

Elvis

Domestic Short Hair - male - 4 months

Elvis and his sister, Echo, came into DCH foster care at about 8 weeks old after they were found living under a house in Macquarie Fields.

Elvis is a very playful and curious young man who is beginning to realise that people aren’t so bad! This beautiful Tabby boy with the chiselled chin, usually does do a runner when you go to pick him up, making little purrs and trills as he goes, like it's a game to him! However once you have him in your arms, he doesn't fight at all to get away and succumbs to all the love and attention!

Elvis is not a lap cat but he will usually fall asleep right next to me or behind my shoulder, on the lounge. If you are looking for a cat that you would like to work with, to continue his socialisation, this is your boy! In 6 weeks, Elvis has progressed really well in his social skills but he will really benefit from a quieter home with only 1-2 people to focus on and trust.

If you have the time and patience for Elvis, you will be rewarded with a rescue cat that loves you because you have earned it. Elvis had a rough start to life and is still understanding he is safe now, but he absolutely deserves a loving Forever Family to call his own.

The $225 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. This kittens is also litter-trained and socialised with other foster kittens and must be kept as an INSIDE ONLY cat.
