Eric

Eric

DSH - male

Eric is a quiet, chilled-out, easy-going boy that loves to follow you around all day purring. He is cuddly, affectionate, and, like most kittens, he has sudden bursts of energy where he’ll run around the room like crazy chasing his siblings and getting up to mischief. Eric loves his toys and is quite a social kitten so he is looking for a special home where he will always have company. He would love to be adopted together wth one of his siblings, unless you have another pet at home he can become best buddies with.

Eric needs to be rehomed as an indoor-only cat but one where he can have supervised outdoor time when he’s older in an outdoor cat enclosure. He is litter-trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with his flea and worm treatments. He will be desexed when he is a little older, and his adoption fee includes his desexing. Eric is in foster care in Glenmore Park, NSW, and he is waiting to meet you. He will be ready for his new home just after Christmas.

Eric was adopted on 25 December 2017 after 3 weeks in foster care

Smudge

Smudge

Dsh - male

Smudge, and his sister Pebbles, were adopted from DCH as kittens only to find themselves back in our care after 10 years. They have previously lived as indoor/outdoor cats, but in their later years have tended towards venturing out only onto the balcony.

Finding himself in a new home, Smudge overcame his shyness on the evening they arrived - and was the brave one, courageously venturing our to play and have fun with his new foster mum. And showering her with affection. See video link at foot of page.
He has become a little more reticent in recent times, perhaps coming to terms with 3 human flat mates and their comings and goings! Nonetheless, he always LOOOOVES a cuddle and pushes himself at you to tell you when he wants more affection. Once he gets to know people he likes to sit or lay next to them, so we are sure he will blossom in his new home.

As older cats, they enjoy sleeping, of course, becoming more active and playful in the evening. Sounds like a perfect match for a working single or couple. Both have lovely 'bandit' markings and stunning, strokeworthy coats. Super soft, but shed little. The perfect combination!

It would be lovely if they find a furever home together, but - from observations so far - they do not seem particularly co-dependent if you are interested in adopting only one of them.

Smudge is de-sexed, microchipped and inoculations up to date.
