Rain

Rain

Domestic Short Hair - male

*** Rain is available to meet at PetStock Marsden Park ***

Do you want a kitten who seeks the company of humans, and is just happy to be 'present'. Rain is the kitten you are seeking.

Rain is a gorgeous placid little kitten who loves to play, explore and snuggle. He is quite an independent kitten and enjoys playing by himself, but will happily join the gang of foster kittens for a game.

While his foster mum works from home, Rain is close by either asleep on her desk or the cat bed nearby, and when we wants some love he calls out to her in his little voice. At bedtime, Rain is close behind, and quickly finds his comfy spot near the pillow and snuggles in for the night.

Rain is currently being fostered in a home with lots of kittens, cats, 2 dogs and a bunny and after a couple of days he was happy to live alongside them all.

Rain is litter trained, microchipped, and has had his first kitten vaccination and is booked to be desexed Friday 8th April, at which time he will be avaialble to adopt.

If you’re interested in meeting Rain please email his carer and include information about your current household, other pets you own, pet care experience and other relevant details.

Rain is currently located in Bligh Park.

Bette

Bette

DSH - female

****Bette is available to meet at Petstock Marsden Park****

Bette came into care with her siblings Audrey and Bogart when they were about 2.5 weeks old, and from day 1 Bette was a fighter and the strongest kitten of the litter. While bigger than her sister Audrey, Bette is still on the small size for her age but this has not slowed her down from about 5 weeks when she gave up the bottle, and decided she was big enough to play with the big kittens – although she was half their size.

Bette has funny little facial markings, with an adorable black nose and one white ear and one black ear. Bette has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and she happily co-habits with them all.

While Bette has access outside via a cat run in her foster home, /she is looking for forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

Bette is ready for meet and greets now, Bette has had all her kitten vaccination and is litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18 yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Bette was adopted on 12 May 2022 after 4 months in foster care

Mac

Mac

Domestic Short Hair - male

Mac was surrendered into foster care to be rehomed.

We don't know anything about his background but he is a loving, beautiful kitten who loves attention. He has a strong loud purr and just want to be with you and to play with toys. He has a bold personality and is a very confident kitten. He has been living his last few weeks as an indoors cat in a family home. He currently has not had any interactions with dogs or young kids but in general he is pretty adaptable and friendly to everyone he meets.

Mac has received 2 X vaccinations. He will require a 3rd and final vaccination for the year on the 26/5 which is not included in the adoption fee.

Mac has been desexed, microchipped, wormed and flea treated.

He is currently eating Royal Canin Kitten dry food as well as Royal Canin Kitten Instinctive in gravy wet food for dinner.

Princess

Princess

DMH - female

Princess will be available for adoption from 6th May 2022 (after she is desexed on 3rd May).

Princess and her brother Breezy were dumped in a box on the doorstep of a DCH foster carer. We don’t know anything about their history.

Princess is, as her name suggests, a beautiful kitten looking for a loyal servant to love and adore her! This gorgeous girl is very playful and still a bit shy but Princess does like attention when she trusts you. Princess is wary of older cats but tolerates kittens of her age, and often plays with her brother, Breezy.

As she is young, Princess would fit into most families but as she does have a bit of catitude, she needs to go to a home without young children.

The $225 adoption fee includes:

  • Microchipping,
  • Worming/flea-treatment,
  • Vaccination (1st of 3),
  • Desexing
  • So she lives her best and longest life, Princess must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat. Please indicate if you are willing to do this in your email.

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in adopting. PLEASE INCLUDE INFORMATION such as whether you own other pets, if you have a quieter or more chaotic household and any other relevant details.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18 years old to adopt an animal, and, for a kitten, also be prepared to look after it for up to 20years! 😻

    Mika

    Mika

    DMH - female

Mika and her sister (Mini) Maeve came into DCH care on 21 January 2022, when they were caught in the backyard of a shop. Mika has been a beautiful and very smoochy girl from when she was first picked up!

Mika can be a fluffy ball of affection but I’ve found she is initially shy with new people. Mika is curious and playful and has a beautiful possum tail! I am just introducing her to a brush, as she will need a weekly groom just so her hair doesn't become matted.

Mika is litter-trained and socialised with people, having been bottle-fed and hand raised from very young, although she can still be easily startled, and may sit back and watch when she first meets you.

Mika is currently eating Royal Canin Kitten food, both wet and dry, with lots of clean water always available. She also loves Greenie treats!

    The $225 adoption fee includes:

  • Microchipping,
  • Worming/flea-treatment,
  • Vaccination (2nd of 3),
  • Desexing
  • So she lives her best and longest life, Mika must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat. Please indicate if you are willing to do this in your email.

    Breezy

    Breezy

    DMH - male

Breezy is now ON HOLD pending Adoption

Breezy, and his sister Princess, were dumped in a box on the doorstep of a DCH foster carer. We don’t know anything about their history.

Breezy is a playful and very happy, carefree kitten. This beautiful boy enjoys lots of attention, doesn’t mind being picked up, and has a loud purr. He loves playing on the cat tower or chasing anything that moves. Breezy will probably grow into a large furball, looking at his big feet, and will also need occasional brushing to look his best.

Breezy will suit most homes, and he doesn’t seem to mind other kittens or cats.

    The $225 adoption fee includes:

  • Microchipping,
  • Worming/flea-treatment,
  • Vaccination (First of 3),
  • Desexing
  • So he lives his best and longest life, Oberon must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat. Please indicate if you are willing to do this in your email.

    (mini) Maeve

    (mini) Maeve

    DSH - female

(mini) Maeve and her sister Mika came into DCH care on 21 January 2022, when they were caught in the backyard of a shop.

Maeve was a tiny, hissy, spitty, 2 x week old kitten when I helped catch her - she had to be covered with a towel to be picked up, as she was so scared!

Since then, Maeve has become curious and confident, and now comes over for a pat and cuddle, especially when Mika (her sister), is getting attention. Maeve is a lovely, gentle little tabby, who would suit a quiet household so she can fully develop her personality and confidence.

Maeve is still shy of strangers but if you meet with Maeve and sit with her for about 10 minutes, she will be quite happy to be picked up. Although she has never met children, I don't think Maeve would cope well, and I would prefer she goes to an adult only household.

Maeve’s shyness is only due to fear, so once she becomes confident around you, she is a gorgeous little companion. She just needs a little time and patience.

Maeve is currently eating Royal Canin Kitten food, both wet and dry, with lots of clean water always available. She also loves Greenie treats!

    The $225 adoption fee includes:

  • Microchipping,
  • Worming/flea-treatment,
  • Vaccination (2nd of 3),
  • Desexing
  • So she lives her best and longest life, Maeve must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat. Please indicate if you are willing to do this in your email.
