QTPie

QTPie

DSH - female

QTPie came into foster care at the tender age of 2.5 weeks, with her siblings Humphrey, Truffles and Tabbygail and was bottle fed the first few weeks in care.

QTPie is a very sweet kitten and loves snuggling with her foster mum of an evening, and during the day she can be found playing with her siblings.

QTPie has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and she happily co-habits with them all. While QTPie has access outside via a cat run in her foster home, she is looking for forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

QTPie has been desexed, had her first kitten vaccination and is litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection - QTPie is ready for adoption now.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

QTPie was adopted on 10 February 2022 after 3 months in foster care

Peta

Peta

Domestic - female

Peter is a playful kitten who loves a good snuggle once tuckered out.

He certainly isn't shy, immediately exploring his new home here with a loud, constant purr and occasional leg rub. He enjoys chasing and batting whatever he can find lying around the house. He's a quiet boy, but loves his food, and will definitely let you know when he's hungry with the sweetest little meow. He currently eats both wet and dry food. Peter also uses the litter tray correctly.

Peter currently lives with an extra large dog (Giant breed) who he cuddles up to, and two very young children. He's unfazed by crawling babies, loud 3 year olds and dog barking.

Peter will be available for adoption once he is big enough to be desexed. His unfortunate bout of cat flu means he still needs to gain some weight before desexing. He is now over the cat flu.

Available for adoption from after the 17th January once desexed.

    Ginny

    Ginny

Domestic Short Hair - Ginger C - female

Ginny and her family were found as small kittens, alone and in need of medical attention. They luckily were found by a very caring individual who has sought out help for them but has also agreed to foster them until they find new homes.

Ginny is one of 3 ginger kittens named after the Wesleys in Harry Potter - Freddie (Fred), George, and Ginny.

The kittens are being raised as indoor cats while in foster care. Ginny is the most confident and adventurous kitten in the litter. Although Ginny appears to be shy at times, she loves her playtime with her toys and in the tunnel. Ginny has started using her voice (meows), particularly during her mealtime. Ginny and George (Brother) have developed a strong bond. However, Ginny is quite placid and gets along with all of her siblings, including our cat, Billie! Ginny is super friendly, dainty and easily distracted!

They have received their 1st F3 vaccination.
They will be required 2 further vaccinations to be fully vaccinated however these are not included in the adoption fee.

The kittens have been flea-treated and wormed.

They will be available for adoption start of Feb 2022 once they have been desexed and have healed from their surgery.

    Located in Wollstonecraft, NSW.

    Leo

    Leo

    Domestic Medium Hair - male

Leo was found as a stray, on a main road and taken to a vet clinic by a good Samaritan.
His tail was broken and had become necrotic, so it needed to be amputated to save his life.
He had surgery on the 14th of December and is on a course of antibiotics.
We are still pending his vet costs however; he is going to need sponsorship to help cover his surgery.

Leo’s has been so through so much, after his tail amputation he had to be contained and in a recovery collar to prevent him licking or opening and infecting his wound.
He is such a bouncy happy kitten, so this was absolute torture for him.
He thoroughly enjoyed the moments of supervised collar off free play we were able to give him.

Leo has now had his stitches removed and his wound has healed very nicely.
Since then he has been unstoppable, he is bold and adventurous, his enthusiasm for life infectious.
He is hopping, bouncy and exploring every nook and cranny, he loves to pounce on his foster brother Kovu and they run around after each other like a couple of mad speedsters.

Leo is happiest when he can chase and play interactive toys with you but don’t let the adventurous spirit fool you, he is also a gentle soul that cherishes snuggly cuddles and nap times with you.
Although being such a climber, Leo is best suited to an indoor only home and any outdoor time should only happen in a supervised enclosure.
Leo really is such a floppy easy going kitten; he would make a great friend for children or other cats.

He has been has been treated for fleas/worms and is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.
He is currently eating Ivory coat kitten dry food and Fancy feast wet food and is using breeder’s choice paper litter but he can be transitioned to whatever brand you prefer.
Edit: Scratch the fancy feast, doesn't seem to agree with his tummy.
He has been having a rice with tuna or chicken for dinner for the past few nights.

Leo is currently located in the Penrith area and he is now ready to find his forever home.

Leo was adopted on 03 February 2022 after 1 month in foster care
