Lulu

Lulu

Dsh - female

Lulu was surrendered to us by the family who were parents of her Mum. They took great care of her and kept up all her flea and worming treatments. She'd been brought up with mum and siblings, so she is a very well adjusted kitten.

She's a petite (2kg) girl and is VERY sweet and friendly. She purrs constantly and is a little gem of a kitten who likes belly rubs, cuddling, and some play time. She quite sociable, gets along with other cats and adjusted to the foster home quickly. She would also be good with children, as her first family had one. She'll crawl right up on your lap and snuggle in, purring away.

Lulu is vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and desexed. She's ready to meet you now!

Lulu was adopted on 02 August 2021 after 4 weeks in foster care

Blueberry

Blueberry

Domestic Short Hair - male

Blueberry came into care with his two brothers, Blackberry and Cookie.
They were only a few weeks old and were bottle-fed and raised inside with other cats and a dog.
Blueberry loves playing with other kittens, with toys and with humans. He enjoys being cuddled and picked up (he has very soft fur!) and is used to being handled by children.

Blueberry is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, up to date with flea and worming, and ready to be adopted to an INDOOR ONLY home.

He is a good kitty and uses his litter tray and scratching post, and enjoys eating fresh pet meat, chicken wings and kibble.

As of Friday 14th May, Blueberry is located at the PETStock Macquarie Centre adoption enclosure, and is available for cuddles and meet-n-greets during their normal operating hours. He would love to meet your family!

Blueberry was adopted on 02 August 2021 after 5 months in foster care

Suri

Suri

Domestic Short Hair - female

Dear Suri was found after she gave birth to a litter of kittens when she was just a shy kitten herself. She nurtured them well, and they’ve all got furever homes. But - just as she was starting to learn to relax and accept affection herself - she developed ringworm and had to be isolated for several weeks from all but her carer.

Following her recovery and release from isolation, she now chooses to spend her time in our (large, escape-proof) garden, even at night, and – in the main – doesn’t want to be touched except by her carer, and even that with some reluctance.

She is never mean or scratchy; she is just extremely timid. She does enjoy spending time with one of her carer’s kittens.

Suri is still in need of her own furever home. She is low maintenance, but clearly needs to be safely outdoors within a cat proof enclosure, and with a family who understands she will never be a lap cat…. Are you that patient cat lover?

Please contact Suri's carer to arrange to visit her at her temporary home in Ermington.

Suri is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed, and is up to date with her flea and worm treatments, so she is ready to go.

Suri was adopted on 01 August 2021 after 8 months in foster care

Karen

Karen

Domestic Short Hair - female

Karen is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea treated. So, she is ready and raring go to her furever home!

She was on the verge of being euthanised by the Council when DCH rescued her and brought her to me. She has been in foster care for 2 months.

Karen is a typical lap cat. She loves spending her time making biscuits on you. She responds when called Karu lovingly and softly. Karen loves to spend her time chasing laser toys, playing with feather toys. She doesn't like to be petted on her lower part of her body and belly rubbed, she will gently bite you if you do so. Karen is fit for a family who has adults only or home with mature children who understand cats body language.

Karen was adopted on 28 July 2021 after 1 month in foster care

Oliver

Oliver

DSH - male

My name is Oliver, I came from a group of 4 and did not know people until I came to live with my foster mum. Yes I was a wild child, but have now come so far that I have changed my ways. Before I was hissy and scared, now my mum just has to look at me and my purr engine turns on. She says its pretty loud too. Yes, I am a real smoochy boy.

During my time in foster I was taught some good manners like sharing and being polite to others, including the doggy in the house - for some reason he just can't get enough of me. We, and the other kitty cats, just hang out and play around all day.

I am now ready to find my forever home. Im not too fussy, but I do have some conditions......toys and treats, oh I love my treats, especially those dine stick thingys. I also love cat grass, that stuff is awesome.

I am vet checked, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated, and my vaccinations are up to date.

If you are looking for an addition to your family then feel free to make contact. We would love to hear from you.

Bryce

Bryce

DSH - male

My name is Bryce, I came from a group of 4 and did not know people until I came to live with my foster mum. Apparently, I was really hissy to begin with, but now I love being in the same space as everyone. I enjoy getting pats and will relax with a purr. Although I have come a long way I can sometimes get scared, especially if there are new humans in the house. Having said that, I have learned to trust and have become more social. My favourite social time is string toy playtime and food time, definitely food time.

I used to sleep under the lounge, but have since come out of my shell. Now I am King of the lounge and often visit my mum in bed for cuddles. I am happy to be handled gently for a quick cuddle when I am feeling secure and relaxed. I do love spending some quiet time in a sunny spot high up on our scratchy post looking out into the yard, it's so relaxing.

I have been around the household doggy and even shared his bed for naps.
I play with the other kitty cats, and like my sibling Oliver, I also love cat grass.........that stuff really is awesome. I wouldn't say no to that creamy dine treat either.

I am npw ready to go to my forever home. So if you are happy to be my forever buddy and watch me grow into a loving fur gentleman, then feel free to make contact. We would love to her from you.

I am vet checked, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated, and my vaccinations are up to date.

Mr Meowtini

Mr Meowtini

DSH - male

*Available for adoption early July after desexing, but available to meet now*

Mr Meowtini came into foster care at the tender age of 4 weeks, with his siblings Mr Bigglesworth, Mr Meowi, Ms James Bond, Mr Bojangles and The Fuzzinator.

Mr Meowtini is the littlest of the group but is slowly catching up, this definitely hasn’t slowed him down or stopped him participating in the kitten games and rampages. Mr Meowtini, is one of those kittens happy to be in the company of humans but also happy to just doing his own thing.

Mr Meowtini has been raised with other foster kittens and cats, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and he happily co-habits with them all.

Mr Meowtini has had his first kitten vaccination and is booked into be desexed late June at which time he will be available to adopt. Mr Meowtini is litter trained and will be up to date with his parasite protection.

While Mr Meowtini has access outside into a cat run, he is looking for forever family that can offer him the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

As we currently receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Mr Meowtini was adopted on 17 July 2021 after 1 month in foster care

Sox

Sox

Domestic Short Hair - male

My name is Sox. My fur is black with white feet and a white chin and chest and I have shiny bright yellow eyes. I love to run and play with my kitten and cat friends until I get exhausted and then I find a bed or lounge chair to cuddle into and go to sleep. I love to sit on laps and really enjoy being patted and I am very affectionate.

I do not like being on my own, so I am looking for a family with another cat or who will also be willing to adopt another cat for a companion for me, preferably my sweet brother who is also looking for a new home. I would be happiest if I can find a forever family who has someone who works from home or at least is home quite a bit. I spend a lot of time indoors where I sleep and have my meals. I like to sleep on the carer’s bed or close bye during the night.

I am not suitable for flat or unit living as I am used to being able to go outdoors whenever I feel like running or playing in the garden or just to enjoy being outside in the fresh air. I romp around inside the house as well as outside on the grass and run under and around the plants. I need a backyard to play in that is fenced to keep me safe away from dogs or anything that could harm me.

My gentle, sweet, kind and loving nature will make my new forever owner very happy.

Fergie

Fergie

DSH - female

Fergie

Fergie and her brother Finnick were rescued from Campbelltown Pound where they were surrendered as orphans at 3-4 weeks old.

Fergie is a pretty little kitty with a beautiful Torti and White coat, and a chubby little face. She is very playful and curious, although still shy around new people. However, being so young, Fergie will adjust to her forever family and gain confidence with some time and patience.

Fergie loves to have a cuddle and chin scratch and often falls asleep on my lap, after her playing is done. Cat tunnels, laser lights and cat trees are all favourite toys, and a sunny windowsill is her preferred napping place.

The $225 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming/flea-treatment, first vaccination (of 3) and desexing. Fergie is also litter-trained and eating both wet and dry food.

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in meeting/adopting Fergie. If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18 years old to adopt an animal.
