Lewis

Lewis

DSH - male

My name is Lewis, I came from a group of 4 and did not know people until I came to live with my foster mum. Apparently, I was really hissy and spitty to begin with, but now I accept pats and relax with a purr. Although I have come a long way I still get a bit scared at times as I am still learning to trust. I'm doing my very best to become more social. My favourite social time is string toy playtime and food time, definitely food time.

During my time in foster I have learned to be more trustful, for instance I now sleep out in the open and am happy to be picked up for a quick cuddle when I am feeling secure and relaxed. I also spend some quiet time sitting next to my mum while she's working away on her computer.

I have been around the household doggy and even shared his bed for naps.
I play with the other kitty cats, and like my siblings, I also love cat grass.........that stuff really is awesome. I wouldn't say no to that creamy dine treat either.

I am looking for a forever home willing to be patient and allow me to develop trust and flourish over time. As I am still developing my social skills, it is recommended I move into a household without young children. So if you are an experienced animal owner who is happy to see me grow into a loving fur gentleman, then feel free to make contact. We would love to her from you.

I am vet checked, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated, and my vaccinations are up to date.

Lewis was adopted on 05 April 2021 after 2 months in foster care

Pastel

Pastel

Pastel was given her name after her beautiful, unique, pale coloured eyes.

Pastel came into care with her 4 other siblings. Pastel was originally born a stray, and was initially fearful of humans. However, Pastel has since flourished and now enjoys being patted and will let you know this by purring! Pastel is friendly girl who loves playing on our cat tree with her siblings.

Pastel has been vet checked, microchipped and vaccinated. Pastel will be desexed before heading to her forever home.

Please contact her carer for further enquires!

Pastel was adopted on 04 April 2021 after 1 month in foster care

Flame

Flame

Dsh - male

Flame is a lovely kitten who is very outgoing and loves to play! He loves to snuggle up to people and will follow you around the house hoping for pats! He settles down very well at night and enjoys snuggling on your lap while you watch tv.

Flame is very boisterous and isn't really afraid of anything, despite coming in as a rescue. He loves to play with our small dog, they'll race each other around the house! He hasn't had any contact with other cats while in our care, so we aren't sure how he'd get along with a feline friend.

When he isn't playing he loves to snuggle up to a person and he frequently follows us around the house. He's quite vocal in the mornings when he decides its breakfast time around 8am, but other than that he's a very quiet kitten. He's very well litter trained and has never had an accident ever while we've had him.

We'd like him to go to a family with a human at home as much as possible to love and spoil him! We would ideally like someone who'd be willing to take him for a walk occasionally to let him see the outside world. He's a very calm cat and travels very well in the car! He's currently being trained to be comfortable in a cat harness.

If you'd like to learn more about Flame or visit him at his foster home in Lane Cove, please contact his carer, Helena.

Flame was adopted on 02 April 2021 after 1 month in foster care

Bear (now Juno)

Bear (now Juno)

Domestic Medium Hair - female

Bear and her 4 sisters, Buffy, Billie & Bronte, came into DCH foster care at 4 weeks old from Hawkesbury Animal Shelter.

Bear is a gorgeous Torti girl who is the smallest of the litter with a lovely dark, fluffy coat. This little kitty is very affectionate and playful, although she does love a long nap on a sunny windowsill!

Bear will fit into any family that are looking for a kitten to love and welcome into their home. Although Bear is quite brave, loud noises like the blender, still scare her into hiding. Like any kitten, she will just need a little time to adjust to her new home.

The $225 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. This kittens is also litter-trained and socialised with other foster kittens and must be kept as an INSIDE ONLY cat.

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in adopting.

Bear is being desexed on 23/02/21 and will be ready to go to her new home from Saturday, 27th February.

As we currently receive lots of enquiries for each kitten, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered. If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt this kitten.

Dash

Dash

Domestic short hair - male

Dash came into our care with his mum, Suri, at the same time as another litter of three kittties and their mum. He is just recovering from a case of ringworm (a common fungal infection), and is keen to get out of isolation into a furever home.

SO WHAT CAN WE SAY ABOUT DASH????? ……..Oh, there he goes! ......
Dash is always on the go and a busy body. He likes to be on the move and exploring his entire domain – just full of energy. He is a handsome and confident boy, and he also enjoys a nice petting from his human companions.

He thrived in his active foster family, comprising mum and dad, two kids, cats – both resident and foster, canines and bunnies. On that basis, we believe he will fit happily in with a variety of family environments. Just note he has been in care as indoor only, so for his safety, he must join an indoor only home.

Dash is microchipped, vaccinated, and desexed.

Dash was adopted on 28 March 2021 after 3 months in foster care
