Bravo!

Bravo!

Domestic medium hair - male

A nice person contacted DCH to ask us to rescue a mum who was feeding her young kittens in the garden; one of our foster carers responded and took them straight into her family.

These guys – Mumma plus Darla, Tilly and Bravo - have thrived in an active foster family, comprising mum and dad, two kids, cats – both resident and foster, canines and bunnies. On that basis, we believe they will fit happily in with a variety of family environments. Just note they have been in care as indoor only kitties, so, for their safety, they must go to an indoor-only home.

Introducing Bravo!:
Floofy Bravo is calm, cool and collected. Extremely confident , he also loves getting attention from his human companions. He has a very laid back energy

Each kitty is vet–checked, microchipped and vaccinated, and will be desexed prior to rehoming.

If you’d like to meet Bravo (and maybe a couple of the family members) at their temporary home in Ermington, please email us.

Cuddles

Cuddles

Dsh - female

Cuddles was rescued as a tiny kitten by a good samaritan who then fostered her for DCH. She was sooo cute, she was adopted by her carer whose family loved her dearly. Unfortunately, their circumstances have changed, and little Cuddles now finds herself looking for a new family to adopt and adore her.

Cuddles - who seems to answer to Snowy more readily - is the cutest, sweetest, cuddliest girl you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Initially, a very shy, slightly anxious young cat, once you earn her trust she will follow you around the house to keep you company, and love you unconditionally!

She’s a very affectionate girl, loves to stay close by her humans, and absolutely adores a belly rub! A gorgeous soul…

Cuddles seems quite sensitive to noise, so would thrive best in a quieter home environment, maybe with just one or two people around most of the time. She may take a week or two to fully settle in, but this gentle girl will make your house happy! Cuddles is an indoor only kitty.

Cuddles is already microchipped vaccinated, and de-sexed, so she is ready to join her new family.

If you’d like to learn more about Cuddles, or arrange a meet and greet at her Surry Hills foster home, please contact her carer, Lauren.

Cuddles was adopted on 23 January 2021 after 3 months in foster care

Tully

Tully

DSH - male

A nice person contacted DCH to ask us to rescue a mum who was feeding her young kittens in the garden; one of our foster carers responded and took them straight into her family.

These guys – Mumma plus Darla, Tully and Bravo - have thrived in an active foster family, comprising mum and dad, two kids, cats – both resident and foster, canines and bunnies. On that basis, we believe they will fit happily in with a variety of family environments. Just note they have been in care as indoor only kitties, so, for their safety, they must go to an indoor-only home.

Here is Tully:
Tully is the quiet one. He was a bit cautious and timid at first, but over time learnt to trust those around him; he enjoys gentle petting and will allow you to hold him. When he feels safe, he loves to explore. Although he initially holds back - given a bit of time - he comes out of his shell and happily comes out to play and explore and lounge around with all the other members of the household.

Each kitty is vet–checked, microchipped and vaccinated, and will be desexed prior to rehoming.

If you’d like to meet Tully (and maybe a couple of the family members) at their temporary home in Ermington, please email us.

Super friendly little guy loves to play and loves his food

Tilly

Tilly

Domestic Short Hair - female

Tilly has the sweetest, gentle personality. She is shy at first meeting but warms up quickly and is playful and craves love and attention from her carer. Tilly came into care on Christmas Eve with her 4 brothers after being rescued as strays from a carpark. Her brothers have all been rehomed and Tilly is finding herself a little lost and sad without her little playmates. She would suit a household with or without other pets.

Tilly is in foster care in Glenmore Park, 5 mins from Penrith, NSW. She has been flea and worm treated and her adoption fee includes her microchipping, 1st kitten vaccination and desexing. She is available for her new home now.

Cassie

Cassie

Domestic Short Hair - female

Cassie is a little cutie-patootie!! She has spent her life as an adored indoor only pet and came into care when her elderly owner passed away. She absolutely LOVES cuddles, pats and scratches. She spends her days snoozing on your bed, waiting for you to come in and pat her, and her evenings by your side on the couch.

She is currently living with 2 other cats and a dog, and while she tolerates them, she is best suited to a home where she can be the centre of attention, and people are home often.

Cassie makes adorable little squawking meows to talk to you, and has THE LOUDEST purr her foster carer has ever experienced. If you prefer peace and quiet, then Cassie isn't for you as her purr-motor sets off as soon as you pat her.
She is incredibly adorable and deserves a loving, indoor only home with a human to dote and love on her.

Please provide information about the type of family and home that you are offering to her in your enquiry email.

Cassie was adopted on 17 January 2021 after 3 weeks in foster care

Parfait

Parfait

Domestic Short Hair - female

Parfait is a beautiful kitten. She has a gorgeous coat just like her mummy Sophie, who is also up for adoption. She likes to be cuddled close to your chest whilst you stroke her extremely soft head. She loves playing with her siblings Souffle, Tiramisu, Cheesecake and Custard. Her favourite thing is the cat scratcher and running through the tunnel. Parfait would love to fined her forever home with one of her siblings, as they are so cute together and so fun and entertaining. This family of kittens are named after desserts because they are all deliciously cute so cute you could eat them all. Parfait will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed before adoption.

Parfait was adopted on 17 January 2021 after 1 month in foster care

Aprilla

Aprilla

DSH - female

Aprilla came into DCH care at only 3 days old with her 4 brothers, unfortunately 2 of her brothers didn't survive but Aprilla thrived once in care and has turned into the sweetest kitten.

Aprilla likes to snuggle with her foster mum at night, and sleeping on her foster mums face is not close enough to suit Aprilla, and she can get a little whiny if she isn't get the attention she deserves. Aprilla is a funny little girl, easy to set to purring and is happy to play by herself or with other members of her foster family.

While Aprilla hasn't been raised around children, she has been raised with other kittens, cats, dogs and rabbits and is quite a confident little kitten.

Aprilla has been raised as an indoor kitten and we will be looking for a family who can continue this for her safety.

Aprilla has been microchipped, desexed and has had her first 2 kitten vaccinations while in care.

Aprilla is ready for her forever home, and she is available to meet at her foster home located in Bligh Park.

As we currently receive lots of enquiries for each kitten, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered. If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Aprilla was adopted on 16 January 2021 after 3 days in foster care

He is best buds with his brother, Onyx, and they would love to find their forever home together, although seperate adoptions will also be considered. Smokey is available for meet and greets now.

Cody

Cody

DSH - male

I am a beautiful loving boy and I am looking forward to a loving family to adopt me. My fur is black and shiny and I have lovely yellow eyes.

My foster family has older cats and younger cats for me to play with. I do not like being on my own, so I am looking for a family with another cat, or who will also adopt another cat with me for a companion. I have two young kitten friends, two boys and a girl who are also looking for a home any of whom would also be a great companion for me in my new forever home.

I live, sleep and eat indoors and love to play both indoors and outdoors in the back garden. I really enjoy playing chase with my other cat friends. We romp around inside and also outside on the grass and run under the plants.
It would be best for my well-being if my new forever family can provide me with indoor and outdoor access to a back yard.

Desexed. 1st F3 Vaccinated, Microchipped, wormed and flea treated.

Available for adoption after the 14th January once a 2nd F3 vaccination and health checkup has been completed.

Located in Rouse Hill

Cody was adopted on 15 January 2021 after 1 month in foster care
