Bronte

Bronte

Domestic Medium Hair - female

*Update - Bronte is a runner! Watch for her when you open a door, she is fast, she has a habit if the screen door closes before she gets to it, she will jump up and just hang there until you open it again haha.

Also im not kidding about her affection, she lifts her paws to you like a toddler wanting pick up, its super adorable.

Bronte was surrendered into care, and would like to find a loving forever home.

She loves cuddles, attention and to be held.
She loves being around you all the time, sit still too long and she will decide your lap is now hers for the taking.

Bronte has a gorgeous temperament, and a super soft medium hair coat.
As she has just come into care and everything is so new she is a little scared and cautious of sudden noises and movement.
It’s been a big change and will take some time to settle and trust again.

Bronte is a big fan of toys that roll or move, she gets very excited about playing in the cat tunnel.

She likes explore and jump up to sit in high places, sometimes it’s the cat tower sometimes; like right now while I write this, she thinks she is a parrot and has climbed up the back of my chair and draped herself over my shoulder.

Bronte is looking for an indoor home, she is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated, she is located in Kingswood and will be available to meet after August 19th.

Bronte was adopted on 25 August 2020 after 2 weeks in foster care

Indy

Indy

Domestic Short Hair - female

Indy and her siblings, Ivy, Isaac and Iggy were originally rescued via Hawkesbury Pound in April 2019 at about 6 weeks old.

Indy was previously adopted as a DCH kitten and lived with a family for about 10 months but became stressed (reason unknown), and has now been returned to DCH for rehoming at 12 months of age. After 2 weeks of settling back in to her original foster home, Indy has become very calm and trusting, although she does seem to dislike kittens and other cats.

As Indy can become overwhelmed, she must be an Indoor Only Cat in her new home. This means that she cannot go outside at all.

Indy is outgoing and affectionate and seems quite happy to meet new people in a calm setting. She makes eye contact with her big gorgeous golden eyes and loves chin scratches and pats and even a brush when in the mood.

She doesn’t mind being picked up and will settle on your lap to enjoy some attention. She has a loud purr and a quirky little meow when she wants to be noticed. Like most cats, she does enjoy some quiet, alone time for naps and lying on a sunny windowsill!

Indy is looking for a quiet home (no children), where she can be your only pet - although cat-friendly dog/s would be okay as she is now perfectly fine with our 2 cat-friendly Golden Retrievers! This lovely young cat deserves a second chance and will make a perfect companion for a person who wants to skip the crazy kitten stage!

Indy is microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, desexed and is perfectly litter trained.

If you would like to meet Indy, she is now at:

Petstock Marsden Park
02 8607 1120

9 Hollinsworth Rd,
Marsden Park, NSW 2765

Indy was adopted on 23 August 2020 after 1 month in foster care

Ziggy

Ziggy

DSH - male

Brothers Ziggy and Seb, beautiful ginger boys, with striking flash-like eyebrows, are siblings of Oscar and Sammy whom we recently rehomed; our success encouraged us to bring them into our care to secure their furever home, too. While these boys may enjoy a new home together, each will be equally happy to have a human family all to himself.

Both kitties were socialised initially with visits from the owner’s family, including children. Sadly, social lockdown put an end to that and it took a couple of weeks for these guys to venture much around their new house. Ziggy is now quite comfortable with people walking around but is still quite cautious with people he doesn’t know and will initially hide away for a while.

He is very curious and quite adventurous and likes to find a perch on high to watch what is going on. He also enjoys watching the comings and goings outside and can be found perched near a window during the day or lazing around on his carers bed which gives him a good view outside. He is quite playful and loves to race around the house with his brother. Their current game is hiding under the hallway rug which has to be put back in place every morning.

Ziggy loves toys that make a noise so has lots of fun chasing anything that has a bell. He also enjoys his treats and it’s become a bedtime routine after playtime for Ziggy and his brother to jump onto the bed waiting for their carer to bring the treats which they are happy to take from their carers hand. Ziggy also loves creamy treats and gets quite excited when he sees the packet come out of the treat cupboard. He is happy to have a head scratch and a stroke now and again and he’s recently started stretching out on the bed near his carer at night to sleep.

Like many cats he is still not comfortable with being picked up and cuddled but we are working on that. We believe it is likely that both Ziggy and Seb will take some time to settle into the routine of their new furever homes - so may well suit experienced cat people, with time and patience as well as lots of love to share. Their reward will be great. They are indoor-only kitties.

Ziggy and Seb have been microchipped, vaccinated and desexed. So, already for their new homes. They are located in Colyton.
If you are interested in learning more about or providing a home to one or both of these lovely boys, please contact his carer, Julie.

Ziggy was adopted on 18 August 2020 after 1 month in foster care

He is a very handsome boi and will be a beautiful addition to the family. He loves his tummy to be rubbed while he does a long stretch and likes to have his ears and cheeks rubbed while he's resting and all sleepy. He is a perfect match with his brother Basil.
