Isaac (now Titan)

Isaac (now Titan)

Domestic Short Hair - male

Isaac and his siblings, Ivy, Indy, and Iggy have been fostered from Hawkesbury Pound and are a friendly and happy litter of kittens.

They are all microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and litter trained and although too little for desexing yet, this procedure is also covered in the adoption fee.

Isaac is very gentle and has no outdoor survival skills, so he should be an Indoor cat in his Forever Home.

Isaac is little cuddly sook but he prefers sitting on your lap rather than being picked up. He can be very excitable and sometimes "talks" as he runs around! Isaac loves climbing under blankets and pillows, or chasing a toy mouse but he also enjoys curling up next to you for a pat or belly rub when he's tired.

If you would like to meet Isaac or his siblings, please contact me to arrange a visit.

Isaac (now Titan) was adopted on 10 August 2019 after 5 days in foster care

Iggy (now Ziggy)

Iggy (now Ziggy)

Domestic Medium Hair - male

Iggy and his siblings, Ivy, Indy, and Isaac have been fostered from Hawkesbury Pound and are a friendly and happy litter of kittens.

They are all microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and litter trained and although too little for desexing yet, this procedure is also covered in the adoption fee.

Iggy is very gentle and has no outdoor survival skills, so he should be an Indoor cat in his Forever Home.

Iggy has a medium length coat which gets quite unruly, so he is getting used to being brushed regularly. He can be an independent little guy, quite happily sunning himself in a window watching his siblings play. Iggy is very affectionate with people and pushes his way in for a cuddle, purring loudly to get noticed. He also enjoys being picked up and loves getting his belly rubbed!

If you would like to meet Iggy or his siblings, please contact me to arrange a visit.

Iggy (now Ziggy) was adopted on 10 August 2019 after 5 days in foster care

Diesel

Diesel

shd - male

Black cats bring you luck!
Diesel is an attractive, shiny black haired boy, although he is a really a red head in disguise - when basking in the sunlight ginger stripes shine through! He was rescued along with a ‘lucky dip’ of another 8 kittens which had found their way to the Pound. He now lives in a foster home with 10 kittens and gets along well with all of them.

He loves his fur friends to the extent he hugs and mothers the other cats in the house. Diesel can’t wait to join in with any pats going, and head butts humans and felines alike. In fact, he also rather likes to eat their food and use their litter box.

Diesel is ultra affectionate with people. Quite a character, he’s outgoing and vocal and, strangely, loves to play in water. Other quirks include drinking tea with a drop of milk – out of a mug, and that he sometimes forgets to put his tongue back in his mouth. He does, also, love his food.

Diesel would bring entertainment and joy to the family, single or couple who adopt him. He is an indoor-only kitty, and would no doubt love some feline company and maybe a dog too.

Diesel is microchipped, vaccinated and de-sexed.
He is welcoming visits from possible furever families at his foster home in Hoxton Park. Please call or text his carer, Karen, to arrange a meet and greet.

Diesel was adopted on 02 August 2019 after 7 months in foster care

Jinxy

Jinxy

Tonkinese - female

Jinxy is a lovely young lady who was surrendered into care as her owners were not able to care for her anymore.

She is a friendly, lovely, young cat who will meow at you for attention, drool on you a little-bit as you pat her on your lap, and will then hop off for a wander around the house, before settling down near you in whatever room you're in.

While she tolerates her kitten brothers and sisters, she chooses not to interact and play with them, and will leave them be to their games and chasing. For this reason, we believe that she will suit either a solo cat, or multiple cat home, as long as she gets all the attention and love that she deserves.

Due to her long coat, she will require weekly brushing at a minimum.

Jinxy is an explorer and requires a secure, indoor home that will ensure she won't wander onto a road, or meet her demise from an angry wandering animal.

Available for meet and greets and Randwick, NSW.

Jinxy was adopted on 29 July 2019 after 1 month in foster care

Sage

Sage

Domestic Short Hair - female

Sage (mumma cat)- a beautiful natured cat with the best house manners.

She has been a lovely mum to all her kittens and even adopted Cheeto and Moscato into her 6 week old litter.

Its estimated she is at least 3 years but is very healthy

She does have a lump on her stomach, near the lower nipples. It has been vet assessed and samples taken. However nothing showed up only inflammation cells.

She is very underweight but surprisingly has put on 500g since being in care. It’s a slow process but we are getting there.

Will be Microchipped, vaccianated, wormed and desexed.

Please contact us for any further information or to arrange a meet and greet.

Sage was adopted on 28 July 2019 after 6 months in foster care

Asia

Asia

Bengal - female

Asia is a delightful, interesting young character. She is confident, friendly, vocal, and enjoys a cuddle but it's playing and exploring that really take her fancy.

Asia lives up to the typical Bengal character, loves a game and I'm pretty sure she loves playing with water if her water bowl is anything to go by ;-)

Asia will suit a home without very young children who are after an energetic, more dog like cat and who has the space to let her explore and play. A home with an outdoor cattery as well as indoors would be ideal.

Asia is ok with some cats and not others, she is ok with dogs although hasn't lived with one directly.

For more information about Asia please email megan@dchanimalrescue.org.au

Asia was adopted on 27 July 2019 after 1 month in foster care

Dark Princess

Dark Princess

Bengal - female

Dark Princess is a nice natured female purebred Bengal who isn't overly vocal but will let you know when she wants your attention.

She is active and confident but does enjoy a cuddle and smooch with her owners too. She is very easy to handle but has better things to do than be petted all day!

Dark Princess gets along with some cats and not others and doesn't seem phased by dogs. She will need a home with room for her to play and explore and is used to life in a very large outdoor cattery. Due to the adventurous nature and hunting abilities of her breed she isn't suitable to be allowed to free roam outside.

She is a lovely adult cat who will be perfect for a home without very young children and who isn't after a lapcat but wants an active companion to share their life and enjoy a game with.

Please email (megan@dchanimalrescue.org.au) for more information.

Dark Princess was adopted on 26 July 2019 after 1 month in foster care

Harriet

Harriet

DSH - female

Harriet has 3 x sisters and a brother and has lovely dark markings on her mainly white coat, with a little black smudge on her nose and mouth.

Harriet likes to perch high on the cat tower and loves to play with anything that moves, including her own shadow! She is very sociable and cuddly and once she starts, her purr sounds like a little engine. Tummy rubbs are also a definite favourite.

Harriet and her siblings are very playful but they all have a very gentle nature and none of them bite or scratch, unless by accident. All 5 of these kittens, are friendly with other foster kittens and cats, and have made friends with the resident dogs as well!

Harriet should be an Inside Only cat as she has no outdoor experience or survival skills.

Harriet is microchipped, wormed, vaccinated and desexed. She is also litter trained

Harriet is now at Petstock Penrith if you would like to meet her!

Hendrix

Hendrix

DSH - male

Hendrix has 4 x sisters and a very confident attitude for such a little kitty! He is quite the foodie as well and loves his tucker! He looks right at you and has started making a little mieow to be picked up.

Hendrix is very well socialised and will easily become a lap cat if given half the chance. He is a very cute boy, mainly white in colour with a tabby grey patch on his ears and around his eyes, and a grey and black tail.

Hendrix and his sisters are very playful but they all have a very gentle nature and none of them bite or scratch, unless by accident. All 5 of these kittens, are friendly with other foster kittens and cats, and have made friends with the resident dogs as well!

Hendrix should be an Inside Only cat as he has no outdoor experience or survival skills.

Audrey and Avery

Audrey and Avery

Domestic Short Hair - female

Audrey and Avery have been hand raised since 1.5 weeks old after being found in a horse stable by a lovely member of the public before giving them over to DCH to care for.

They have had lots of handling and human interaction.
They have both grown to be lovely kittens.

They love to play and explore and constantly play together. They love to explore and chase each other around. They enjoy a cuddle and will sit on your lap and sleep next to you. They are very quick to purr and love lots of pats and attention. They are ok with kids but might be a little rough for younger kids. They have lots of energy and will climb in and out of cupboards and benefit from having a tall cat tree to climb. They love playing with pipe cleaners on the floor.

We are looking for a very special home for the "AA" sisters where they can live with their new family as indoors only cats. They would love a family who can play and interact with them and give them lots of attention.
We are looking for an indoor home for these kittens.

Located at PETstock Macquarie Park Adoption Enclosure

Audrey and Avery was adopted on 23 July 2019 after 3 months in foster care
