Bravo

Bravo

Rottweiler - male

Bravo is a lovely boy who is very well trained. He walks beautifully on a lead, doesn't jump up, sits and shakes just to name a few. He loves playing with his foster brothers and sisters and is currently living with 5 other dogs. He even gets along with my dominant male dog and is happy to be just part of the pack. He would make a great pet for a family with older children and a family that has experience with owning Rottweilers. He loves water and has a naughty habit of trying to catch the water when I use the hose, which can make it a little more difficult to wash him. He is very receptive and is learning fast what is and isnt allowed. Bravo would love a family to call his own preferably with another doggie friend for him to play with.

Bravo was adopted on 12 March 2008 after 2 months in foster care

Carly

Carly

Small breed Terrier x - female

Carly is a lovely sweet little girl. She is definitely a lap dog and would spend all day on someone's lap if she could. Carly is fine with other dogs and is fantastic with cats so would be an ideal canine companion for any felines you have. She is housetrained and is fine on a lead and in the car. Carly goes offlead at the park and beach and sticks right nearby. She does have a little run when she is out but does not require a huge amount of exercise. Carly is currently sleeping inside and is pretty much a housedog

or wherever you may be. She does attach herself to people very quickly and will make a very loyal little companion. Carly is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Obi

Obi

Staffy x - male

Obi is a darling little puppy. Very cuddly and smoochy. Obi would like a home with a doggy friend, but perhaps not one That is overly boisterous.

Obi was adopted on 09 March 2008 after 4 weeks in foster care

Ruby

Ruby

German Shepherd - female

Ruby was found wandering the streets and taken to the local pound where nobody claimed her. Ruby appears to be a pure GSD

except for those ears which don't quite stand up. She will make a wonderful addition to a family that is prepared to love and take care of her.Ruby would make a great companion to anyone who is home a lot or would enjoy the company of another dog.

Ruby was adopted on 09 March 2008 after 2 months in foster care

Sharni

Sharni

Cattle x - female

Sharni is a playful cheeky pup and very typical of a young Cattle Dog.. She loves to nibble on toes and tries to heel already but her only intention is to play with whoever and whatever she can.. She is a fiesty little girl (in a positive sense) and shows no fear to the older pups or adult dogs in her foster home, defending what she feels is her right (like her food bowl) with a stern and assertive grumble to let them know that while she might be small she will not let them bully her..

Sharni would be best suited to a home with older/teenage children or where there are no children due to her playful nature and her tendency to try and nibble on toes. This is only since we are mindful of the playfulness of some dogs, and the potential for such play to scare young children. Sharni would do well at obedience as she gets older and should prove to be a pup who will be loyal and eager to please her owners. While she enjoys the company of other dogs she would probably also suit a home where she is the only dog, as long as she is afforded the attention and companionship of her owners.

Sharni was adopted on 04 March 2008 after 1 month in foster care

Penny

Penny

Labrador Retriever - female

Penny is a sweet natured and energetic Labrador that has fallen on hard times. She is well behaved but can get excitable as any normal Labrador. She needs a home with another doggie friend for company or a family that is home most of the day. She loves other dogs and would be fine with slightly older children. Penny has been diagnosed with a mild heart murmur that does not require any treatment. She also has a bad flea allergy at the moment which has led to some hair loss around her rump. This will clear up and her hair should grow back. If you can provide Penny with a loving and caring home she will be a great addition to your family.

Kobi

Kobi

Cocker Spaniel x Poodle - male

Kobi is the sweetest most affectionate dog you'll ever meet. He loves a cuddle and i do mean literally to snuggle right into your side and rest his head on you, he is very devoted. Kobi loves to fetch the ball for you and equally so he loves his walks. He is good on a lead, he gets quite excited (does a happy dance in circles) when he knows he's about to go for his walk but once he is out and walking he's fine. Kobi allways gives you direct eye contact and almost looks like he understands you. There have been many days when i have come home after a bad day and he will come up and put his head on my knee and just look up at me. It's difficult not to smile when he does this. Kobi needs to be your number 1 he's just that kind of dog he has so much to give and would be heartbroken if he was left outside in a yard all day. Because of this we are looking for a home where he will be allowed inside as part of the family and with someone who loves and appreciates this affectionate bundle of happiness. Kobi will also need a home where there are no small children but older children 8 and above would be fine. Kobi is good with other dogs and doesn't even mind going to the vet to the point where he will jump up on the examination table of his own accord lol.

Kobi was adopted on 02 March 2008 after 1 month in foster care

Coco

Coco

Foxy x Chihuahua - female

Poor Coco came into care after a probable dog attack. As a result she has lost her right eye, despite this she is really good with other dogs. She's a really nice kind natured dog, she loves people other dogs and cats, shes great to walk on a lead and if you let her off she just stays with you and loves swimming. i reckon she would be great with kids or a lap dog she just wants to be with you all the time. she listens well and is very obedient.

Coco was adopted on 23 February 2008 after 2 months in foster care

She is a great companion dog and she gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and also with cats. She's not a big barker, but she likes to talk to you when it's time to play which is very cute. Ally and Banjo

Ally and Banjo

Cattle x - mixed

Lovely natured dogs that are no trouble at all. They are currently living with 3 dogs and a 3yr old child running around with them and they have no issues with all of this. They havent harrassed the carers guinea pigs or rainbow lorry either. They walk fairly well on lead, and are very responsive to training.

The girl was a little feisty when she first came, but now, they are both equally as snuggly, and the girl is a big kisser. They curl up either side of whoever sits on the lounge, and snuggle right in.
