Beamer

Beamer

Pomeranian - male

Beamer is a lovely little boy that has just come into care from the pound. He is very friendlyand likes to be carried places like a baby, he does however walk well on a lead. He gets along with other dogs and loves company. At some stage of his life it looks as though his tail has been cut off andhe now only has a stumpy tail. He would be most suited to someone that is home alot to keep him company.

Beamer was adopted on 11 December 2010 after 4 weeks in foster care

Talli

Talli

Large x Breed - female

Talli is a BIG puppy, her paws are HUGE and she trips over them consistently so she is going to be a big girl!! She's a massive smooch, always right under your feet. She's been beautifully behaved, she was at home her first day in care by herself and we expected to find the yard ripped up and but nothing at all destroyed. She needs lead training and thst is starting now and I am sure she will pick it up quickly.

Talli was adopted on 27 November 2010 after 2 months in foster care

Lance

Lance

Cross Breed - male

Lance is definately the top dog in our house and if he is not eating or sleeping he is playing tug-of war with his foster mates and more often than not he is winning :) He has an adorable face with has some longer wiry patches. He would do well with another dog to play with as he is an active little fella.

Lance was adopted on 23 November 2010 after 1 month in foster care

Jax

Jax

Cross Breed - male

Jax is a very adorable boy with loads of energy and lots of love to give. Jax has a short coat with white spots. Jax gets along well with the 2 other dogs he is living with and although very curious and cheeky he also get along well with my 18 moth old son.he is quite responsive to the small amount of training I have started him on and will go on to do very well if this is continued in his new home. He probably will be medium to large size breed so his new owners will need to be prepared to give them lots of regular exercise and training and he will do well with another dog as a companion.

Jax was adopted on 22 November 2010 after 1 month in foster care

Stanley

Stanley

Chi X

Stanley was left at the pound and was described as nervous at the moment and will fear bite After a week at the pound he was allowing one carer to pick him up but was still incrediblynervous and afraid of everyone else. When he came into care he was underweight, with a skinirritation, and trembled if you looked at him or tried to pat him. After 2 months in care heis now very friendly, he loves kids, and cuddles, and has even started to play with his fosterbrother. His coat is now glossy, his skin irritation has cleared up, and he now is a healthy weight. He can get disorientated amongst large crowds of people and does not like to be picked up bystrangers in these instances, however in small groups of people he is quite comfortable and quitehappily likes to move from lap to lap. He is great at the vets and travels well in the car. He is nota fussy eater, and at night he especially likes to snuggle under blankets.

Stanley was adopted on 12 November 2010 after today in foster care

Beauty

Beauty

Labrador x - female

Beauty is just a beautiful, placid, loving Labrador X with a gorgeous, shiny black coat. Her owner passed away and she is looking for a loving, carefree forever home for the rest of her life. She is in excellent health, would suit any sort of family as she is easily adjustable, travels well in the car and is very loyal and obedient. Beauty pulls slightly on lead as she hasn't been walked for awhile but she would overcome this easily, especially after her favourite Belly Rubs. She gets along easily with children and other animals but may have to adjust sharing affection with another dog (can be overcome). Beauty is a very quiet girl who just loves attention (she nudges your arm when she needs a pat) as well as being near to her owners and sleeping indoors. She is a dog that you can very easily spoil and she'll continue to come back for more! The person who adopts Beauty will be the envy of their friends and family as she is so friendly and adorable and deserves to be loved! Please come and visit her and see for yourself her big brown eyes and if you can commit to looking after her for the rest of her life!!

Beauty was adopted on 10 November 2010 after 1 month in foster care

Zac

Zac

Cattle x - male

Zac is still very young and will settle in to any home quickly, is so cute and laid back that nothing seems to phase him. Zac has had a very rough start to life and that has only made him a better dog.He sleeps through the night and gets up around 7am each morning for breakfast, he also appears to have a great imagination, as he plays with his toys and chase's his tail.Zac is great with kids and loves to go for walks.

Update 15/9/10: Zac has survived and is home with his foster carer now. We are very pleased that Zac has beaten this deadly virus and should go on to make a full recovery, unfortunately he has developed a very nasty ulcer as the result of spending the last week so ill at the vets (basically a bed sore). He's on treatment for this and it should start to heal up now.

Poor little Zac was abandoned by his owners and then caught the deadly virus Parvo. Zac is currently fighting for life at one of our vet clinics where he's been for a week on a drip. All efforts are being made to ensure he pulls through but Parvo is very often deadly in puppies of this age.

If you can help us sponsor Zac's vet bills which have come to $546.20 please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below.

Thank you to Paul for his very generous donation for little Zac. His vet fees have now been fully covered. Also thanks to Becky for her donation

Zac was adopted on 10 November 2010 after 1 month in foster care
