Oscar

Oscar

Short-Haired Tabby - male

Oscar was born into our care as one of three of the best ever Christmas Day presents! He and his 2 black brothers, Thunder and Shadow, are bouncing, healthy boys, who have been brilliantly looked after their mumma cat, Daisy.

They are all microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and – ready to go to their furever homes.

Oscar is a beautiful tri-colour tabby boy, with shades of brown, grey and white, the only of the boys to take after his mum. He is a spirited kitty, who loves running around and playing with his brothers and any toys to hand. As well as his siblings, Oscar has also lived happily alongside other foster felines and has received frequent visits from a small dog.

This gorgeous guy will bring a lot of joy and affection to his family, and will probably keep you all fit between his naps. To keep him safe, his home will need to be indoor only.

Please contact us if you would like to learn more about this lovely boy or to visit him at his Hoxton Park foster home.

Oscar was adopted on 19 May 2020 after 3 months in foster care

TicTac

TicTac

DMH - male

TicTac was found abandoned in someone's garden when he was only 4wks old.
He is a very energetic cutie.
Loves to play and rumble with the older resident cats here, although not everyone wants to play when he does.
Loves his toys and sometimes you'll have to find them for him.

He enjoys a good ear rub and snuggle and likes curling up next to you on the bed at night.

TicTac should be indoors only due to his colour, sun isn't good for pure white cats

TicTac was adopted on 19 May 2020 after 4 weeks in foster care

Numbat

Numbat

Domestic Short Hair - female

Numbat is a wonderful, curious and affectionate kitten. She has made amazing progress in care and has really come out of her shell. Numbat loves to play and has boundless energy for chasing games and toys. She also has the loudest purr ready for snuggle times with people. Numbat is also social with other cats, people and small dogs.

Numbat was adopted on 18 May 2020 after 3 months in foster care

Jeff

Jeff

DSH - male

Jeff has recently been surrendered into DCH care along with his brother, Dennis. Their owner unfortunately found himself unable to keep them, and then they had a bit of a rough time staying with a dog which didn't take to them at all. We believe they would thrive best in a forever home as a single pet companion (together or separately).

Jeff is a long, elegant gentleman with an extra long tabby tail! He loves pats, purring and eating. He also loves to lounge around and to explore for food. He would be great for someone who has the space and love to give to this big guy.

Jeff has been vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and desexed, so enquiries are welcome now.

The brothers are located in Milsons Point.

NOTE: All visits will be by appointment, and in accordance with prevailing social distancing protocols. Given travel restrictions, a ‘meet and greet’ may instead be arranged via videoconference.

Jeff was adopted on 15 May 2020 after 1 weeks in foster care

Milk

Milk

Jack Russell X Pug X Maltese X - female

Milk was surrendered into DCH care to find her a new forever home.
Milk is a lovely little dog with lots and lots of energy to burn. She has a very high energy level and gets very excited very quickly.

She is looking to be an indoors dog who has access to an outside secure yard to be able to run around in. She needs a home where someone is home during the day and around her more often than not.

She is a small dog currently but will grow larger based on her parents size.

She has grown up in foster care with her sister Cadbury who has been rehomed. Milk managed to get her eye injured while playing with Cadbury and has needed a little time to heal and recover. She is now ready to find her new home as she has been missing her sister and needs a home where she will get lots of love and attention and play.

Milk loves any attention and has a strong loud bark and currently still barks for attention when she is bored or lonely.

She has not had as much dog socialisation as we normally would have due to Covid-19 and will need to be enrolled in a puppy school once they open back up.

She walks on a lead but does tend to want to run ahead and can get easily spooked by strange noises.

She had learnt to sit for treats and still tends to jump up and grab them from you as she is not very patient.

She can be a little bitey around the ankles and toes when excited so we suggest she is rehomed to a home without kids under the age of 8.

She enjoys a good tug of war with a little teddy bear or squeaky toy and she loves her treats.

She is used to toileting on a training grass mat when inside but will need further work once in her new home to adjust to her new surrounds.

She has received all 3 vaccinations, is desexed, microchipped, and flea treated.

Her Mumma is a Maltese X Jack Russell Terrier
Her Dad is a Maltese X Shih Tzu X Pug X Jack Russell

Her Sister's photo is included in the profile and Milk is very different from the other puppies from the litter and has less Maltese and Shih Tzu in her.

Luna

Luna

Domestic Short Hair - female

Luna was surrendered into DCH care after ending up at a vet clinic needing some help. She arrived around 6 weeks of age and had cat flu. She was kept in isolation and was treated and recovered from cat flu.

Luna is a lovely playful kitten who is currently being raised in a foster home with young kids.

Luna will be available for adoption towards the end of May once she has been desexed and has recovered.

She is located in Castle Hill, NSW

Mia

Mia

Great Dane X - female

Hiya, I'm Mia, a gorgeous 3yo Great Dane cross.
I am a 50kg and 86cm tall bundle of love and joy. I adore people and live for my daily playtime (tug of war, garden chase, hidden treats). Although I'm a big girl, I am gentle and well mannered. My excitement does get the best of me sometimes and I can be a bit loud but I am obedient. I haven't been socialised much with others dogs so we are working on that. I did amazingly well at my first dog park party!
I tend to be a bit of a scaredy cat but I learn fast and thrive when given support and encouragement to gain confidence. Talking about cats, I'm living with 2 of them and not bothering them. I have quite some energy for a Dane, not really the couch potato type. I would need a medium to large garden (10m×10m minimum), daily walks with confident owners who can hold me back if I pull (I'm used to wearing a halter to help), playtime time with toys and other dogs and belly ruuubs!
I am trained to sit, stop, give paw, lie down and come back when called. I sleep indoors (house trained) and am definitely not the destructive type: zero items lost to compulsive chewing to report to date - I am so good!
I'm located in Epping with my foster carer Jo, so please call her on ‭0401 900 696‬ to organise to meet me!

Flash

Flash

Domestic Short Hair - male

Flash came into care with his two friends, Pebbles and Marbles. Both cats are kid-friendly and dog-friendly, have lived their indoor only lives with several young children, and a small dog.

Flash is the Prince of the trio. He is a goofball that likes to play and chatter to his humans - a vocal lad. He loves his food and will check if you have food before he lets you touch him. If you do then he is VERY happy to meet you.

Nothing seems to bother him as he's always relaxed. He will suit an indoor home with existing animals for him to bond with.

Located in Waterloo NSW

Flash was adopted on 10 May 2020 after 3 weeks in foster care

Pebbles

Pebbles

Domestic Short Hair - female

Pebbles came into care with her two friends, Marbles and Flash. Both cats are kid-friendly and dog-friendly, having lived their indoor-only lives with several young children, and a small dog.

Pebbles is a gentle soul. She is great with everyone including children, and will remove herself from a situation (completely peacefully) if she's uncomfortable or needs a break.
Pebbles likes to make friends straight away, and once she trusts you she showers you in cuddles and kisses. She will thrive in a calm and loving environment, with existing pets that she can bond with.

Minnie Mum

Minnie Mum

DMH - female

Hi! I am Minnie Mum. I’m rather beautiful, with my lovely black fur being accessorised by my grey pants.

I was rescued by two humans and now reside with one of them. I’m told I’m easy to live with, but I would like a furever home soon.

I live inside at night but roam the back garden during the day and am happy to hang out to play and chase mice. I also share my foster home with a dog.

I‘m happy to be patted, but – like many cats – I am not keen on being picked up. My foster mum says I have some trust issues, so my new family may need to be patient, and give me some time to settle in.

I am de-sexed, micro chipped, vaccinated and wormed, and, of course, I am litter trained.
