This is Lashes: his favourite pastime is food or sleeping. He loves to have long conversations with anyone who will listen.

He is not a fussy cat, and will eat anything that’s not bolted down! He loves to pinch the food off the dog who lives here - with whom he is best buddies. He loves kids, too, and particularly enjoys being patted by my grandchildren

Lashes would suit anyone who is willing to be patient and give him a go. He has beds, scratching poles and lots of places to sleep

Lashes is microchipped, de-sexed and vaccinations are up to date.

Arlo is a sweet natured puppy. He is always happy to cuddle and follow you around the house.
Arlo is currently living with three dogs and a cat.
He is learning toilet training, crate training and practicing using a collar and lead.

Tiger is the largest boy from a litter of 9 pups. Confident, playful little pup. Lives with his sister Skye. He's learning to wear a harness, walk on a lead, be house trained, learn his manners with his sister and a resident adult cat.

He will be ready to be rehomed around mid June once he's desexed.

Skye is a lovely brindle female staffie cross pup. She's learning to walk on a lead, wear a harness, live with a cat, is indoor when I'm home. Smart little girl.

Blackie (4.9kgs) was recently rescued with his foster-sibling Snowy from a home environment that was no longer any good for them. He is currently living at Cronulla with his foster dad. Blackie appears to be content knowing someone is home, but not in sight. Recently his foster dad tested him out by going on a few shopping trips to find Blackie just relaxing on his bed and wagging his tail to greet his foster dad.

It is understood that Blackie never owned a collar therefore, never walked. His foster dad has put him into training, now he happily walks twice a day and outpaces his foster dad. He is friendly toward other dogs and cats.

Blackie's previous foster household had numerous dogs. Blackie tends to sniff and follow the other dogs around, but it is hoped this behaviour will stop once he is desexed.

Blackie was vaccinated on 7th April, and will be desexed on 21st April, 2020 After which he will be ready for adoption.

Bear is an approximately 1 year old staffy cross who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own.

He is currently living with a young family with young children, and whilst he hasn't done anything wrong, the children are a bit intimidated by Bear's size and so it makes it hard to manage the environment. As a result, Bear is not getting the attention he desires, so would benefit from going to a home with older children, and where he has plenty of time and opportunity to interact with the family on a daily basis.

Bear is a large boy, but doesn't demonstrate his strength or size when interacting with people. He hasn't had much of a chance to interact with other dogs, so would probably be best suited to a home without other dogs, or would need to be given time and opportunity to introduce them in a very controlled environment.

Note: Bear currently has a council nuisance order issued against him until the end of year for a prior incident.

Little Snowy (7.4kgs) was recently rescued with his foster-sibling Blackie from a home environment that was no longer any good for them. Snowy is living in Sutherland with his new foster family, which consists of two other dogs, however is more focussed on his humans.
Snowy is very quiet and submissive and craves love. He is very needy and will cry if left alone if locked in another room. His potential new furever family needs to take this into consideration as Snowy would best be suited to a home where someone or another pet is home all the time.
It is believed that as Snowy did not own a collar, that he had never been walked. This rings true, however he has ventured outside the front gate and around the block with and without another resident dog every day since 15/04/20. Snowy was vaccinated on 7th April, and will desexed on 21st April. After which he will be ready for adoption!

Linus was recently surrendered into foster care to find a new loving forever home. His owner had been unable to rehome him and wanted to ensure Linus finds a great home. Linus and his sister, Libby, are now in care in Milson’s Point. They are both healthy, happy and very sociable.

Linus is a stunning brown Tabby boy with big brown eyes. This little guy likes to show off his true hunting instincts with his agility in chasing and capturing cat toys with extreme precision. In between, he also likes to take long cat naps and asks for cuddles from his humans as well. In summary, Linus is a pretty laid back kitty - unless he is “hunting”, and then he means business!

Linus is microchipped, desexed, vaccinated and vet checked, and has had his flea and worming treatments.

Libby, a beautiful Tabby and white girl, with little white paws, is a very sweet, purring machine! It took her a nanosecond to settle in, and she also loves to play and, of course, then take long cat naps afterwards.

Libby also likes to curl up next to her people on the couch and show her affection by purring loudly and maybe giving your fingers a good lick. This kitty knows nothing about social distancing….

Libby is microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked, and has had her flea and worming treatments. She is being desexed today, and will be available for adoption after recovery, probably around May 7. However, enquiries are welcome now.

She and her brother, Linus, are available to indoor only homes.

Penny's personality is the most gentle I've ever come across in a kitty. Even after she'd been with us for only a short time, she purred very fast and very loudly when picked up. She is generally shy with new people though, so her furever family may have to give her a couple of weeks to settle, to allow her to gain the confidence that she's safe and loved. Penny does love playing with toys, and happily eats whatever cat food is on offer.

Although she doesn’t realise it herself, Penny walks with a very unusual gait. (See Video). After a thorough vet check-up, including x-rays, the vet has ruled out any problems with her bones and joints. Instead the vet thinks it may be neurological, and in any event, thankfully, it causes no pain and Penny is perfectly happy the way she is!

Penny does have strength in those back legs, as she loves to stand up on them so she can see what might be of interest up the bench - taking her full body weight. Fortunately, she hasn’t learnt yet to jump up on the furniture, but ,when she decides to chase her feline foster friends, Penny just launches herself straight at them from her sleeping position.

Penny has enjoyed being an indoor kitty to date, and because she doesn’t realise her legs won’t run fast enough to get away from dangerous situations, her new furever home must also be indoors. She does love her cat buddies, and is also living harmoniously with her carer’s large cat friendly dogs, so a family (be it large, a couple or a single person) with existing potential playmates may well find her a wonderful companion. Because Penny is very gentle, however, any animal friends should not play rough.

Penny is microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date. Her adoption fee includes de-sexing.
