Steak Diane

Steak Diane

domestic medium hair - female

Steak Diane comes from a family of 4 girls(Quiche Lorraine, Pudding and Pancake) and her sweet mumma Grace. She is a chilled, laid back kitten that loves a cuddle in your lap and fall asleep. She likes to be picked up and played with. Steak Diane has lots of crazy fun with her sisters, wrestling and rumbling until they all fall asleep in a big floofy kitten puddle. She is also very soft and it's lovely to pat and stroke her, she also loves a good tummy tickle. Steak Diane would love to be adopted with one of her sisters or her mumma to keep her company, they are just as cute and 2 is always better than 1.

Steak Diane was adopted on 01 February 2020 after 4 weeks in foster care

Quiche Lorraine

Quiche Lorraine

Domestic medium hair - female

Quiche Lorraine looks just like her momma Grace. She has a bit of sass and sometimes likes to say "hi" when she is picked up by surprise. She is the floofiest of her sisters Steak Diane, Pudding and Pancake. She's lovely and soft and loves to play chasing and wrestling with her sisters until they all fall asleep in a pile. She also likes to chase bugs and will talk to them if they are out of reach. Quiche Lorraine would love to be adopted with one of her sisters or with her mumma. They would make a very cute and lovely pair to have as part of the family.

Tin Tin

Tin Tin

Domestic Short Hair - male

TinTin came into foster care at about 5 weeks old, with his 7 other foster siblings, Shadi, Billi, Butters, Milli, Marti, Lotti, and Tippy.

TinTin is a pretty laid back little kitten, happy to play with his siblings or alone, keep you company while working on the computer and curls up with you in bed at night.

TinTin has been fostered alongside his 7 foster siblings, 2 dogs, and multiple adult cats and is not concerned by any of them and he has on occasion been caught taunting the dogs.

TinTin is litter trained, has been microchipped and his first kitten vaccination, and will be up to date with his worm and flea treatments.

TinTin is ready to meet his potential forever family, and a visit can be arranged at his foster home located in Bligh Park.

Tin Tin was adopted on 31 January 2020 after 4 weeks in foster care

Mudgee and Saffy

Mudgee and Saffy

Mixed - mixed

FUREVER HOMES URGENTLY NEEDED

These two well-loved doggies have suddenly found themselves homeless due to their owner’s serious medical condition. They are currently in temporary care, and are hoping to find new furever homes as soon as possible.

Both dogs are great with other dogs and would happily fit in with families with resident dogs. They do not have to be re-homed together.

Mudgee is a very friendly ten year old desexed male labrador. He is lovable and loves people and other dogs. He would suit any family environment, but would be a great friend for an older retired couple.

Saffy is a female Kelpie cross, some two and a half year’s old. She is a friendly energetic girl who would suit a family with kids. She will be de-sexed prior to adoption.

Please contact Suzanne if you believe you could find space in your home and heart for one or both of these friendly dogs.

Milo

Milo

Labrador x Shar pei - female

This gorgeous, friendly, girl came into care with a severe flea allergy and extremely underweight. Thankfully, she has responded very well to treatment and foster care and her gorgeous chocolate coat has all grown back.

Milo has been raised in a busy home with older children and is very friendly with all she meets, although she may have had bad experience with large men and can be scared by them or other things (like brooms). She has adapted to living with other dogs extremely well but has yet to be tested with cats. She seems to enjoy having canine company for the first time in her life.

She is a smart girl and despite having very little training prior to coming into care she picked up the rules of her foster home very quickly. She can now sit on command and walks well on the lead without pulling. She also was fine travelling (restrained) in the car. To ensure her ongoing training an experienced dog home would be best.

She isn't as a large as a full labrador.

Milo is available for visits at her Glenhaven foster home. Please contact her carer to arrange a meet and greet.

She is up to date with all her routine vet treatments, and will be de-sexed prior to her adoption.

Milo was adopted on 28 January 2020 after 10 months in foster care

Lenny

Lenny

West Highland Terrier Cross - male

Lenny is a 7.5 year old West Highland Terrier X who is around 9kg in weight. He is a beautiful friendly boy who loves being around people. He is people orientated and loves attention and company. He is in need of a new home as unfortunately his home situation has changed to moving around and a loud 2-year-old who constantly chases him around the house and stands over him, Lenny has become anxious and nervous and is constantly being chased around by the toddler.

Lenny will give his new owners love, affection and company.
He walks well on a lead but is generally walked around other dogs to avoid confrontation. He is house trained and spends most of his day indoors. He will let you know when he needs to go outside to the toilet.

He was last vaccinated in May 2019. He is next due for his vaccination in 2022 and needs a kennel cough vaccination in May 2020.
Lenny has been with his current owners since he was a puppy so it’s a very hard decision for them to rehome him but they believe rehoming Lenny would be the best for him.

An Ideal home for Lenny would be
A home where he can be a mostly indoors dog.
A home where the owner is home most of the time and can devote time
and attention to Lenny.
A home with elderly owners is probably an ideal fit.
A home with no other dogs.
A home with no small kids or toddlers.

Lenny is currently receiving on-going Anxiety medication of which comprises of ½ tablet twice daily that is given with his food. It’s expected that this would be an on-going requirement as he has been diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder.

Lenny had bladder stones in 2017 which required surgery, Lenny is on a special diet of Hills L/D food and has an on-going requirement to be fed only Hills L/D food.

Lenny can be dog aggressive especially of dogs coming towards him so he is best in a home where he is the only other dog. He seems to tolerate dogs in other yards. He seems to tolerate cats and gets along with them and its only other dogs that scares him.

Lenny's front feet have been splayed from birth but it does not give him any on-going issues.

Lenny is desexed, vaccinated, wormed. He has good teeth and looks healthy, bright and alert. He has just had a hair cut & grooming to be ready for the hot summer months.

He is a friendly boy who enjoys pats and rubs and likes a good rub around the side of the face and neck. He will thrive in a nice quite home where he gets lot of attention.

Please contact us if you think you can provide Lenny the quiet home that he needs while keeping up with medications and diet.

Liam

Liam

DSH - male

Liam and his 4 x siblings (Laney, Lexi, Lucy & Lenny), were born to a lovely mumcat who had been left on the street. Mumcat and kittens were temporarily moved to my house, and she has been feeding and mothering her kittens beautifully. Mumcat has now found a home in a managed, enclosed colony and she will be prevented from having further litters, and looked after very well.

As Liam and his siblings have been handled since they were about a week old, these kittens absolutely adore people! Now they are older, they are skilled at finding a comfy lap to sit on, and they love to run to the door to greet everyone.

All are drinking water and eating wet and dry kitten food, with good appetites, and of course, they are litter trained.

This litter should also be Inside Only kittens in their future homes, unless they are safely supervised outside.

Liam is a beautiful, confident boy who is not shy to ask for a cuddle. He has a cute little miaow which he is beginning to use for attention, and it's working well! He loves to chase his siblings through the cat tunnel and he is also becoming friends with our Golden Retrievers.

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to come and meet Liam. You and your family are most welcome to organise a time to visit!

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt from DCH

Liam was adopted on 25 January 2020 after 3 months in foster care

Lexi seems most content playing in the lounge room surrounded by people and toys. She has recently discovered her miaow, and it is quite loud for such a little kitty! Lexi gets on well with all the other foster kittens and is also making friends with our Golden Retrievers. Lexi loves being carried around and also loves to perch on shoulders when you sit down, just to stay close!

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing.

Ruby

Ruby

DSH - female

Ruby is such a little cutie. Lots of purrs and head-butts for her foster carer, lots of wrestling and playtime with her littermates. Very affectionate and loving.

Ruby is being fostered in Lithgow, just past the Blue Mountains, and would be delighted to meet you.

The 'Precious Gemstones' litter was born to a feral mum cat at a Warehouse in Western Sydney. They came into care terribly undersized, covered in fleas and very hungry. Now after several weeks in care getting wormed, de-flead, vaccinated, microchipped, and given endless amounts of love and affection, they are ready to go to their new home now
Ruby is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.

All kittens have been well socialised with other cats and have been introduced to dogs, and will adapt well to any home. They all use their litter tray and scratching post, and enjoy a varied diet of kitten kibble, canned kitten food, chicken wings, chicken livers, chicken hearts and fresh meat. It is preferred that they go to indoor only homes (or those with enclosed outdoor runs).
