Georgie

Georgie

DSH - female

Updated

Georgie was unwell and very tiny at 4 weeks, when she came into DCH care with her brother, Gage, but she is now very healthy (and wormed, vaccinated & desexed), and ready to find her Forever Family.

This little girl has loads of personality once she gets to know you but is still a bit shy when you first meet her. Georgie is a tiny little black beauty with intense, big golden eyes.

In just over a month, Georgie has changed into such an affectionate girl who enjoys being picked up for cuddles and seeks out my lap anytime I sit down. Georgie is also very playful and enjoys chasing the toy mouse and ambushing her brother Gage in the cat tunnel. She gets on well with other cats and foster kittens and happily curls up with them to sleep.

Georgie will be a lovely little companion and will only become more and more affectionate as she gets to know you.

Please drop in to the store or contact PETSTOCK PENRITH 02 4761 0536, if you would like to meet Georgie!

Gage

Gage

DSH - male

Updated

Gage was unwell and very tiny at 4 weeks, when he came into DCH care with his sister, Georgie, but he is now very healthy (and wormed, vaccinated & desexed), and ready to find his Forever Family.

With his little white sox and rather extravagant whiskers, Gage is extremely cute! This little guy is also very excitable and he sometimes jumps straight up in the air as he walks when he's very happy. Gage currently lives with 8 x other foster kittens and gets on with all of them.

Gage is very affectionate and will try to climb up my arm for cuddles if I reach down to pick something up. He has also got a very croaky little meow for attention, which works very well! I have found him to be an excellent neck warmer as the weather gets cold and he doesn't hesitate to nudge his way into the best spot on my lap even if it is already occupied!

Gage can be a little startled by loud noises at first, but he recovers quickly as his curiosity gets the better of him

Please drop in to the store or contact PETSTOCK PENRITH 02 4761 0536, if you would like to meet this beautiful boy!

Gage was adopted on 03 July 2019 after 2 months in foster care

Freya

Freya

DSH - female

Freya is a pretty little kitten who came into foster care with her brothers, Fitz and Frodo, along with a tabby called Franki. Freya is now the only one waiting to find her Forever Family.

Updated
Freya has a loud purr and a tiny meow, and loves sitting on laps for a head scratch or back rub, when it's tv time! She is very playful but also has a lovely quieter side and really seems to enjoy being with people and following us around the house "to help"!

She gets on well with older cats and also kittens, and she is used to sharing the house with our two big golden retrievers.

Actually I have now discovered that Freya LOVES dogs! She rubs again them for pats, cuddles up with them when they lie down, and constantly wants to go outside with them. I have now relented and allowed her to go outside on a cat harness when I hang washing or do outside chores but she is ALWAYS on her harness and NEVER left alone outside.

Freya is looking for an Indoor home where she will be safe and loved by her Forever Family. She is litter trained and great company! As she has no fear of dogs, she must be homed with cat-friendly dogs.

Please drop in to the store or contact PETSTOCK PENRITH 02 4761 0536, if you would like to meet Freya!

Tigger

Tigger

DSH - male

Lovely little Tigger has the best markings, stripes all down his body and his little tummy actually has a mix of spots and stripes! He has grown into such a lovely and friendly young boy, who loves a play but especially loves a cuddle. He meows when he would like more attention! And he is just beyond handsome. He LOVED his sister Ruby, and they sleep together always. As a result, Tigger would be best suited to a home that has another cat, as he really loves that company. In saying that, it isn't a deal breaker and if you're home and willing to give him plenty of loving, he will learn that the love comes from people too! Ruby has since been adopted - happy for her but scary for Tigger! - but within a day he now dotes on us now, and loves to have a cuddle and a play even more than he did before!

Tigger is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea-treated and wormed, so is ready for adoption! For the coolest little man, give Gemma a call to come and meet him on 0435 939858.

Tigger was adopted on 30 June 2019 after 4 months in foster care

Fergus

Fergus

DSH - male

Heeeeey, hello? HELLOOO!

I'm Fergus! I am currently in care, looking for a home that will have me forever! I'm told I am a beautiful black kitty, although if you look closely, you'll see I have rather elegant stripes through my coat;my tail is also very special... I'd also like to point out that lus black cats are considered to be very lucky in many cultures.

I live happily with a German Shepherd doggie, other kitties, and a rabbit
.. and our human carers, of course. What more can you want in a multicultural pet!

I'm an inquisitive cat, I love to play and explore. I like dogs especially, I live with a GSD as well as a Frenchie and we sleep, play and snack together. I've learned to love snuggles and now I love being picked up and smooched! I purr pretty loudly for a little guy like me but my foster mum assures me that someone out there will adore it.

My vet work is up to date, I am desexed (WHAT THE HECK?!), I'm microchipped and have had my first vaccinations. They wormed me too and I've been flea treated, so I'm ready to come and live with you now!

Please contact my foster mum, Jasmin, for any questions and to arrange our meet and greet in her home in Ebenezer. Hopefully I'll meet you soon!

Fergus was adopted on 30 June 2019 after 6 months in foster care

Ruby

Ruby

DSH - female

Ruby is the prettiest, smartest and most loving little girl. She can't get enough of being around us, and meows until she finds you, wherever that may be in the house! She curls up in the funniest of places just to be with you. She LOVES to play, and has now realised we are the best place to find the best play time! When she gets tired she starts to be around you even more, and comes right up around you legs and will chase your hands so you keep stroking her. She falls asleep on your lap and in your arms, most usually trying that route before resorting to the bed with her brother!

She gets along well with her foster brother, Tigger, but also isn't afraid to tell him if she wants her food all to herself, or if its her toy at that point! But she is very calm and so I think would integrate well into a family that has other cats as she loves playing and sleeping with Tigger also. Ruby is now desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea-treated - so she is totally ready to be all yours! If you'd like the cuddliest kitten out to be part of your family, please call Gemma on 0435 939858.

Ruby was adopted on 30 June 2019 after 4 months in foster care

Asher

Asher

Great Dane X Doberman - female

Asher (previously called Darcey) is a beautiful little Doberman X Great Dane but she won't be little for long. She was surrendered into care after she was adopted and has since had 3 foster carers through no fault of her own. It would be ideal if her next home could be her forever home.

Asher is 12 weeks old and busy learning how to be a dog. She has bursts of puppy energy but tends to prefer cosying up with a human on the couch. Her basic training has begun with simple commands as well as toileting and being on lead. She is progressing but would benefit from being in a home with established dog/s or an experienced dog owner who is able to dedicate time to her care. She is good with young children but gets very excited which can be overwhelming for children who aren't comfortable with dogs.

She was very timid at first but with time and attention she felt more comfortable and was able to show her cheeky, adventurous side. She's been on a few outings and walks and is slowly getting used to sights and sounds of the world around her. One thing she's never had a problem with is getting attention. People fall in love with her everywhere she goes.

It's important to note that although she will be a large dog, Great Danes prefer being indoors and need plenty of room so a large house and/or yard would be a must.

She comes microchipped, desexed, wormed and with first two vaccinations.

Asher was adopted on 23 June 2019 after 3 weeks in foster care

Hilary

Hilary

DSH - female

Hilary

Hilary has 3 x sisters and a brother but she is often partnered in crime or asleep somewhere, with her lookalike sister, Hailey.

This lovely girl is very calm and enjoys a pat and a cuddle when she's not snoozing! She also enjoys cat tunnels, chasing toy mice, and sunny windowsills!

Hilary and her siblings are very playful but they all have a very gentle nature and none of them bite or scratch, unless by accident. All 5 of these kittens, are friendly with other foster kittens and cats, and are slowly making friends with the resident dogs as well!

Hilary is microchipped, vaccinated and wormed, and will be desexed by the end of June. She is also litter trained.

If you would like to meet Hilary or her siblings, Hendrix, Harriet, Holly and Hailey, you are most welcome to contact me and arrange a visit!

Hilary was adopted on 20 June 2019 after 1 week in foster care

Douglas

Douglas

DSH - male

Little Douglas ....what can i say , quite possibly one of the most beautiful kittens I have had the pleasure of fostering. He is a quite little guy who loves to have a good rumble with his brother Kevin who is also ready for adoption. Once Douglas gets to know you his motor starts going when you pat him.

Douglas has been raised in a household with 3 dogs and 3 adult cats , he is fine with all of them.

Douglas would suit a household with adults and older respectful children.

Douglas can use the litter tray and he does love his food .He has had his first vaccination has been flea and worm treated and had been micro chipped. His adoption fee will cover his desexing when he is old enough at one of DCH's approved vets.

Douglas is an awesome little guy and he is going to grow into one stunning cat.

Douglas was adopted on 17 June 2019 after 1 month in foster care
