Lenny

Lenny

DSH - male

Lenny came into care at around 10 days old with his siblings, once getting good regular bottle feeds Lenny bloomed into the most handsomest kittens with the brightest white and ginger coat.

Lenny loves little mouse toys and foil balls that rustle when he throws them around and runs through the house with them in his mouth.

Lenny is happy around humans and animals, he has been raised in a single human household so may require sometime to become conformable with strangers and children, but once comfortable he will be your loving companion for life.

While Lenny has had access to an external cat run, for his own safety Lenny has been raised as internal cat and would be looking for a forever home that offers the same security.

Lenny has been desexed, mircochipped and had his vaccinations.

Lenny was adopted on 18 April 2023 after 3 months in foster care

Angel

Angel

Domestic Short Hair - female

Angel is a quiet and gentle cat who once comfortable with her humans is affectionate and friendly. Angel has a gorgeous and wonderfully soft black and white coat and a beautiful personality to match. Angel is happy to sleep on the end of her foster mums bed of an evening, but she knows when it is breakfast time as Angel is very food motivated :)

While shy on first meeting new humans, Angel will truly be the companion of your dreams and she will love you to death once she has settled into her new home and family. She is a very gentle cat and could live happily among other animals or children. Angel is such a sweetheart and will continue to grow into an even more amazing cat.

Angel has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and she happily co-habits with them all. While Angel has access outside via a cat run in her foster home, she is looking for forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

Angel has been desexed, has completed her kitten vaccinations and is litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection - Angel is ready for adoption now.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Lexie

Lexie

Fox Terrier - female

Hi I'm Lexie, an affectionate and loving 11kg girl. Due to family circumstances I had to separate from my sister and other fur sibling and move to an apartment. The apartment didn't suit me and I was so lonely during the day. I have been having fun at my foster house with another fur friend and we play tug-of-war and I'm so much happier in a yard. I can use the doggy door and I am up to date with my vaccinations. I absolutely love toys and anything to do with water and am happy meeting new friends in a dog park. I am desexed and ready to find my furever home. I crave human company. and need a home with someone who is home more often than not. Another fur companion would be nice. Please note I molt a little. If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster carer by email as she works funny hours and may not always be able to answer the phone when you call. I hope to meet you soon!!

Lexie was adopted on 11 April 2023 after 3 weeks in foster care

Storm

Storm

AmStaff - male

Hi my name is Storm and I'm an American Staffy with a sunny disposition and a love of people and cuddles.

I am very well trained and know what to do when told to sit and wait. I even know what to do if you say "paw".

I love going for walks and making friends with humans. My previous owner never walked me off-lead and did not desex me so my recall isn't great but I'm desexed now and learning how to come when called.

I love playing in my dog pool back home and I'm fine being left on my own if you have to go to work. I am definitely and indoor/outdoor dog and must be part of the family.

I would suit a family with older children or a couple or individual who loves exercise.

Storm was adopted on 10 April 2023 after 1 month in foster care

Teddy Westside

Teddy Westside

Domestic short hair - male

The perfect mix of cuteness and personality! Being found alone and hungry on the street hasn't gotten little Teddy Westside down. From day one, he has been full of spunk - I cannot tell you how many pictures I have of him laughing (?).

He is also very smoochy, coming up for cuddles and pats if your hands are idle. He loves climbing cat trees and playing with balls and feathers. He is also a scrapper, often pouncing on unsuspecting kittens and cats for a rumble (doesn't matter how much bigger they are to him).

Teddy Westside likes dry and wet food, and he is litter-trained and quiet. He loves to be in the company of hoomans and other cats but can be left alone as long as he has cat toys to play with. He is untested with other animals. He is a bundle of energy but also likes to sleep when his hooman and cat families are sleeping too.

Teddy Westside has been microchipped and received his first vaccination. If you are looking for a kitten with a whole lot of spunk and attitude (in the nicest and funniest possible way) to go with those big saucer-like eyes, then Teddy Westside is the kitty you have been waiting for.

Teddy Westside was adopted on 09 April 2023 after 2 months in foster care
