Billie

Billie

DSH - female

Bille was rescued by Erin approx. 2 weeks after her birth. She has been hand raised and is extremely affectionate and loving towards anyone who gives her attention. She has lived with many other cats and dogs her entire life and becomes friends with other animals very fast. She has been desexed and her vaccinations are up to date.

Billie will work perfectly with any type of family. She can live by herself but she will get up to less mischief if she has a friend. If you are interested, we have another cat named Maddison who Billie has spent her life with as they where rescued from the same place (we are not sure if they are related in any way). We are hoping for them to go together as we are worried they will not be happy without each other.

Please Note: Because we care so much about this cat, we will require to conduct an interview with you and your family. We only wish the best for her.

Pheobe

Pheobe

DSH - female

Phoebe is a very gentle, friendly and loving girl; she loves a good chat and she loves to play tag and then retire to a sunny spot for a nap. She will drop directly in front of you rolling onto her back if she wants a pat and sometimes turn it into a game of tag if you ignore her. She loves to snuggle and adores getting and giving a good massage.

Happily keeps your place on the lounge warm for you and lets you know its dinner time my tapping your leg, prompting you to follow her to her bowl.

She has a shy side initially but quickly warms up to you, especially if you're under a pile of blankets.

Phoebe is fully toilet trained and would be best suited to an indoor home or warm enclosed outdoor space. Happy to live with other cats.

Pheobe was adopted on 04 August 2015 after 1 month in foster care

Lucy

Lucy

Bullarab x - female

Lucy is a lovely, placid soul. Who looks like she's had a hard life up until her rescue from the pound. She appears to have had puppies in the past and came into care underweight and with poor skin. But this girl is such a big sook, she is good with other dogs and animals, she is gentle and good with kids.

A few weeks into care and her weight is good, her skin glowing and healthy and she is ready to find her forever family now.

She does jump up occasionally, but not in a hyper manner, just to let you know she wants a bit more attention, and she is quite strong on lead when she wants to be, so there is a bit of training still to do but she will otherwise make a great addition to any dog savy home.

Lucy was adopted on 02 August 2015 after 4 months in foster care

Emerald

Emerald

dsh - female

With glistening emerald green eyes..Emerald came into care with her two kittens Crystal and Gemstone, like a bag of bones and a tummy full of worms even with such neglect Emerald is still loving and trusting of people.A happy friendly little cat who loves pats and cuddles. This little black and white cat has one of the most softest velvety coats I have ever touched just patting her could lower anyones stress lol. Emerald is fine with children, dogs and other cats. So if you want to add a little jewel into your life than Emerald is your girl. Emerald comes desexed, wormed, flead, vac and healthy 👑🐱

Emerald was adopted on 01 August 2015 after 1 month in foster care

Luna

Luna

DSH - female

Luna was dumped in a bird cage in a park together with her brother Storm, but is nonetheless healthy and ready for her forever home.

They may be separated or adopted together. Both are well behaved, but LOVE to play in between naps.

Both are micro chipped and have F3 vaccinations.

Luna (Tortoiseshell) is beautifully marked and is naturally affectionate.
She is bravely gaining confidence among people, and rewards strokes with purrs which are surely too loud for her neat frame. She seldom meows though, so is a quiet companion
She responds well to commands.

Luna is looking to bond with and love an individual or a family (probably with no small children); ideally suited to apartment living.

Luna was adopted on 01 August 2015 after 1 month in foster care

Diesel

Diesel

Staffy x - male

*Not available for interstate adoption*.

Diesel was abandoned at the pound. He is a fun loving, friendly, happy pup who is ready to go to new home now that his vet work has been completed.

Diesel is proving a very good learner and it's only taken a few days and he's been house trained. He's also learnt so far to sit, stay, stop, toilet, here, heal, no and his names. He understand these commands and will no doubt get better as his training continues.

Diesel is quite connected to the "pack leader" human and is much more interested in being your companion than escaping and being elsewhere. So a home that is after devoted family member will be ideal. He is very good with people he meets , he is in care with older dogs and they get along fine.

He will be larger than Staffy size when fully grown, as he is a x breed.

*He is not available for interstate adoption*.

Diesel was adopted on 28 July 2015 after 1 month in foster care

Fergie

Fergie

Shih Tzu - female

Meet Miss Fergie, a desexed, tri-coloured Shih Tzu, born 10/09/2005 was surrendered to DCH due to her previous owner being very ill and not able to look after her anymore. This sweet girl is initially quite timid when she first meets people but she would make a lovely companion dog as she was in her previous home. Fergie gets on well with other small dogs, loves being inside and close to her owner. She is toilet trained and enjoys a walk, especially on an extender lead. She has a sweet face which would melt any heart. She is a delight to foster and I know she will make a wonderful companion for someone. The outside will need good fencing as she would like to explore beyond her own yard if she can find a way out.

Fergie was adopted on 28 July 2015 after 3 weeks in foster care

Riley

Riley

Domestic Short Hair - male

Updated 18/7/2015 - Riley is currently on a 2 week course of antibiotics and won't be available until August..

Riley loves company and enjoys being around you.
He likes to sit on you and have a good nap.
He is good around my older kids and is an active happy kitten however younger kids seem to scare him.

Riley loves his pats and cuddles and snuggles into bed at night.

He has grown up over the last few weeks with other cats and kittens in the house and has had interactions with a beagle through the glass of the back door.

Riley would love the chance to meet you and to work his charm on you. He really will be a great family member and will make you very happy.

Please check out his video.

Riley is available for viewings and or an adoption this weekend.

Riley was adopted on 26 July 2015 after 2 months in foster care

bolt

bolt

domestic short hair - male

Bolt is a very handsome and striking looking Tabby, has that tigerish look about him and enjoys a chase. He has a delightful and playful nature and loves to run and dart off, never going far as he likes to remain close by his carers. Enjoys a cuddle and attention, interacts well with his siblings and carers. He is a gentle tiger and a lovable boy. Toliet trained, eats twice a day and sleeps in at night. Hen friendly and has yet to be introduced to any dogs.
We would like to see Bolt find a home in a loving interactive family, be it many, a couple or a caring individual. A back yard would be ideal however will do feel he could adapt if needed to a unit environment. Maybe a green jungle balcony could be provided, he'd love that! Bolt is 14 weeks old.

bolt was adopted on 22 July 2015 after 3 months in foster care
