Charlie

Charlie

Border Collie - male

Charlie is larger than life with the biggest heart to match and if you have children, little or big, then Charlie is quite the catch. With endless energy galore, Charlie will love you and the kids with all his heart and he won't be able to stop cuddling you all.

Like most Border Collie's Charlie is super smart so he does need a big yard to explore. Other dogs are not a problem, Charlie will share his food bowl for sure.

Lots of exercise is a must but you will not find it a chore, 2 big walks a day is what Charlie needs.

Cats aren't so keen on Charlie as he tends to stare them down like the Border Collie breed.

Charlie comes desexed, microchipped, heart-wormed checked, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated.

So if you want a house full of love then Charlie is your dog as he is like a gift from heaven above......

Charlie was adopted on 26 October 2014 after 4 days in foster care

Pip

Pip

Shih Tzu x - male

Pip is a lovely boy who is used to living with other dogs. He is very good with young children and has always been around them. He is used to being an outdoor dog and he only settles inside for short periods.

Pip is pretty independent but does love human company. Pip has a lovely nature, learns quickly and walks well on a lead. He obeys basic commands and only barks as a warning that something outside is amiss. Good watch dog in that he alerts you to cars and people arriving.

Sadly Pip's current owners are no longer able to look after him and he is looking for a new home.

Pip is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Pip is available for adoption within NSW only.

Farley

Farley

Ridgeback x - male

Farley is a ridgeback x (currently about labrador size but still has some growing to do) who is friendly, playful and knows basic obedience.

He gets along with other dogs and is used to living with small children. Farley isn't a noisy dog and doesn't jump up but can still knock a child over when in a playful mood.

If you're looking for a fun loving, good natured dog to join your family then Farley just might be the one.

Farley was adopted on 17 October 2014 after 4 weeks in foster care

Calli

Calli

DSH - female

Calli was found dump, pregnant and the vet predicted she was only around 6 months old herself. A nice passerby found her and took her to their local vet where she then came into the care of DCH. Calli was a wonderful young mum to her two babies. Calli is such a beautiful natured girl that she even took on a orphan kitten while feeding her own babies. Calli herself is a beautiful loving girl who adores all people, being picked up and held on your shoulder and lots of cuddles. She will gently head butt your face when picked up and will follow you around everywhere, just to be with you and see what you are doing. Calli has lived with a budgie and never tried to climb the cage or attack the bird. She is currently living with other cats, dogs and a free range pet magpie.

Calli was adopted on 15 October 2014 after 1.6 years in foster care

Moses

Moses

Ragdoll Seal Point - male

Moses and Naboo are 2 purebred Ragdoll male cats who are about to turn 2. They are registered with ANCATS.

Their owners are looking to surrender them and to have them re-homed due to Health concerns due to an infestation of ticks in their yard.

I am taking expressions of interest so if you can offer both of them a home please contact us. They would like to stay together and we are looking to find a home where they can remain together.

Moses is a seal point Ragdoll - he is slightly bigger than his brother
Naboo is a seal bi-colour Ragdoll.

The cats were born on 10/10/12.
We bought them from Rags2Riches near Newcastle and collected them just before Christmas.

Their vaccinations are up to date.
They are both desexed.

On Saturday both cats went to a specialist cat vet and got a tick clip, nail clip, were wormed and treated with frontline spray. Due to the tick clip they are shaved however its temporary and their fur will grow back.

Moses and Naboo spent most of the first 2 years indoors and in a large enclosure in our garden. A couple of months ago they dug their way out of the enclosure, keen to explore more of their surroundings. They love being able to go outside.

Moses weighes approx 7.5kg and Naboo is about 4.9kg.

Moses is a bit of a sook - they both like to be near us rather than sitting on our laps. They don't mind being picked up and cuddled for a couple of minutes. They both like sitting in boxes, Naboo likes sitting on any study you are doing. The owners had them both in a cattery last year and they were social with the other cats. They tend to be wary of visitors.

Apart from the ticks, they have been happy and healthy and have only needed to go to the vet for routine checks and vaccinations.
Moses has a kink in the tip of his tail -we were told that maybe he got trodden on as a small kitten.

Moses was adopted on 12 October 2014 after 6 days in foster care
