Licorice

Licorice

DSH - male

Licorice was surrendered to DCH after being abandoned in a backyard with his two sisters.
He and his siblings are the sweetest, cuddliest kittens I have had in a long time. They never stop purring, are totally relaxed, and will fall asleep when you pick them up, and they are always ready for a cuddle.
Licorice is litter trained, eats wet & dry food, plays with his siblings and foster family, enjoys playing with toys, and is just a delightful little kitten.
I would recommend Licorice for anyone who wants a kitten who will play hard and then happily sit on your lap (or shoulder) & fall asleep. Licorice will suit any household.

Licorice was adopted on 28 June 2014 after 2 days in foster care

Rachael

Rachael

Domestic Medium Hair - female

Rachael is a very beautiful natured 8 week old kitten.

She is very friendly and has a great little purr. She loves nothing more than to snuggle into your neck and have head rubs and she purrs her little head off. She is very affectionate and has very soft fur.

She would be suited to a quite couple or family who can provide her lots of love and attention.

She does not like loud noises and runs away from our dog.

She was rescued on the 6/6/2014.

She will be available after approx 20/6.

Rachael was adopted on 27 June 2014 after 3 weeks in foster care

Maddy

Maddy

Miniature Poodle - female

Maddy can into DCH care after her elderly owner realised that Maddy who is a young and very active pup was just way too much for her to cope with. Maddy is a full of life little pup who loves to run and play and would suit a very active family who have loads of time and energy to give her the life she so needs and deserves.

Maddy is a loving, playful and very excitable little pup and she would be better matched with a experienced family who will give her the on-going training she needs to allow her to mature into a sensible adult. She is house trained and must go to a home that will allow her in to be inside with them as part of the family.

Maddy gets along well with other dogs and is learning to respect cats. She would be better off in a no cat home as she chases cats, not to hurt them but they run and she chases.

Maddy was adopted on 23 June 2014 after 1 week in foster care

Mitchi

Mitchi

Domestic Short Hair - male

Mitchi was rescued from death-row with his step brother. They were both taken into my care and I must say these kitties are true fighters.

There wasn't much hope for Mitchi as he was very sick but little did we know just how much he was fighting, with Vet treatments and the love and care given, he was able to fight it and he is as healthy as any cat I have come across.

Mitchi was found on the streets and taken to the pound at around 4months old, he was an extremely frightened Kitty who was very shy, Judging by the way he was I believe he may have been abused, and he didnt really like affection. But the time I have had him in my care, he has slowly come out of his shell and is such a beautiful and extremely playful kitty, who is gradually becoming more affectionate.

Mitchi is very handsome with beautiful markings, he has become more and more friendlier, not just with me but those living in my household, though in company of many guests he is a tad frightened at big noises which can be understandable.
He loves to play and has become adventurous and curious at exploring other parts of our home, he is a happy Kitty who now enjoys cuddles.

Mitchi is very well toilet trained.

He needs a loving forever home.

Mitchi was adopted on 21 June 2014 after 2 months in foster care

Aero

Aero

DSH - male

Aero was named after a character in a Nintendo game - "Aero the Acrobat" as he used to do amazing acrobatic tricks when he was little. He is now a big boy with a dark brown ginger coat. He does still think that he can run and bounce around everywhere though & still behaves like a small kitten.

He was found in the fork of a tree in an industrial site as a small kitten. Aero absolutely loves our 2 large dogs & will spend ages chewing on the fur between their toes & rubbing them all over for as long as they will put up with it. He is a relaxed boy who gets along with cats & kittens of all ages. He would not be suitable if you have a dog who might snap at a cat as he has no fear whatsoever of dogs. He is located in the Hills District of Sydney.

Aero was adopted on 21 June 2014 after 4 months in foster care
