Sootys Babies: Lovick

Sooty's Babies: Lovick

DSH - female

Lovick is a delightful kitten and was named after Lovick Hut in the Victorian High Country. She is an active kitten, but with a very gentle personality. She is much smaller that her 4 siblings and may be a smaller sized cat like her mum. She has the most stunning tortoiseshell colourings

very deep bold colours. Lovick loves to play chasings and when she is in the mood will jump on her litter-mates for a bit of ruff and tumble.

Sooty's Babies: Lovick was adopted on 22 September 2009 after 7 months in foster care

Coco

Coco

Chihuahua x - female

Coco is an incredibly cute and charming little girl. Although she is 7 years old - she doesn't know it and acts like a much younger dog. She loves to play with her foster brother Yoda and run round the yard. She is very well housetrained (she's fine with a doggie door) and loves being inside, as such we would like her to go to a family where she will be very much the inside family dog. She isn't a fussy eater at all and loves her food and has even been known to visit the chook pen next door to help herself to their bread, all without upsetting the chooks and even takes back bread to share for her doggie companions at home, now that's a caring sharing little girl. She travels well in the car and if she is off lead is very well behaved and she will not run off and always comes when called. Unfortunately Coco is camera shy so we haven't been able to get a picture that shows just how cute this girl is. She is not used to younger children (she tends to hide from them) so a family with kids over 8 would be preferred. Coco is fine with other similar sized dogs and loves to play with them. This girl is a real charmer and is waiting to find her forever home.

Coco was adopted on 21 September 2009 after 4 months in foster care

Panda

Panda

DSH - female

Panda is a very quiet and timid boy. He needs lots of continuing love and attention to get him used to being cuddled. He would possibly benefit by being adopted with one of his siblings, as he does love to play and snuggle with them.

Panda was adopted on 19 September 2009 after 7 months in foster care

Missy

Missy

DSH - female

Missy came to us with her 4 kittens, after being rescued from near a building site. She's about 18 months old, and is the sweetest and most relaxed cat I've ever come across. She loves being scratched and patted, but she isn't keen on being picked up. She is fine around children and would fit in well with any loving household.

Missy was adopted on 19 September 2009 after 7 months in foster care

Snoopy

Snoopy

Fox Terrier x - male

Snoopy is a lovely little man, he is very quiet and friendly, good with children, ignores cats, he is a small size dog and will fit in well with any age family.

Snoopy was adopted on 17 September 2009 after 6 months in foster care

Fuzz

Fuzz

German Shepherd - female

She is a big dog with a big heart. Fuzz has been left alone far too much in her 3 year life span. This makes her desperate for your attention, pats and cuddles which means she can be a bit enthusiastic when first greeting you. She was not trained sufficiently as a puppy but has been making some strides in the right direction since coming into care. She does know how to Sit however Stay and Come are being worked on. She does know how to walk loose lead with me but needs to understand there can be more than one leader in her life. She gets over enthusiastic when meeting other dogs, common sense is lost and she strains on lead. She is not a fussy eater thank goodmess and is a healthy weight with a great long shaggy coat. She was living with a Jack Russell so should be OK with another doggie friend but introductions would need to be guided as her size, weight and sheer excitment could intimidate your dog. She doesn't have a nasty bone in her so with ongoing training she will make a great family pet. She in currently in a foster home with 3 children the youngest being 7. I would Rather not have her go to a family with younger children as they could easily be knocked about by accident.

Fuzz was adopted on 15 September 2009 after 3 weeks in foster care

Willamina

Willamina

DSH - female

Willimina is a very affectionate little girl who loves to sit on your lap. Enjoys cuddles. She is very social with both cats and dogs. Enjoys playing and chasing her toys. Very loving little girl.

Willamina was adopted on 15 September 2009 after 5 months in foster care

Renae

Renae

DSH - female

Renae is a ginger girl who can be extremely smoochy when she chooses to be. Renae has spent lots of time around many cats and a large dog, but prefers to be the only cat, and definitely dominates other cats in her company. She loves to roll over on her back when you get home so she can get a quick rub on her tummy. Renae would be best suited to a home without very young children as she can give the occasional love bite. Renae is extremely proficient at catching rats and would make a great farm cat where she could help with rodent control.

Renae was adopted on 13 September 2009 after 4 weeks in foster care

Spacey

Spacey

DSH - female

Special Needs

Spacey is a very pretty, soft coated little girl who is a special needs cat after coming into care from a colony of street cats. Spacey and her siblings came into care at 10 weeks old and while her siblings started to enjoy their foster home within a few days, Spacey has never totally warmed to people. Spacey is more than happy in the company of people but she's not fussed about our presence and isn't keen on being patted or cuddled (although you can do both). Spacey loves other cats and she spends her days snoozing, playing with toys or cuddled up to the other foster cats.

Spacey's ideal home is with another cat as playmate and/or to a home likes to have a cat around without wanting a lapcat or overly affectionate cat.

Spacey was adopted on 10 September 2009 after 3 months in foster care
