Mia

Mia

Domestic Short Hair - female

Mia came into care with DCH after having just given birth to four healthy kittens, in the pound. Mia has been an amazing mum to her kittens, she nursed them for 10 weeks and took very attentive care of them. Despite having come off the streets, Mia is very friendly and gentle by nature. She absolutely loves human company, and will seek you out for pats and attention. She is very easy to handle and is great company. Mia loves having her chin and head scratched, and has made herself at home very quickly. Mia adapts easily into any situation and doesn't fright easily. She is fully litter trained and is an indoor only cat.

Mia is now ready for meet and greets and will be ready for adoption in the coming weeks.

Mia's adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping, worming, and vaccinations.

Mia was adopted on 24 June 2022 after 4 weeks in foster care

    Shaza

    Shaza

    DSH - female

** Shaza is available to meet at PetStock - Marsden Park ***

Shazza came into care with her siblings Macca and Gazza when they were about 3 weeks old from the local animal shelter, and although small they would not be contained and demanded to be released to play with the big cats.

Shazza is more quiet and reserved than her brothers, and is often the victim of her stirring and rambunctious play. Shazza doesn't mind being picked up and held, and will curl up on the foot of her foster mums bed of a night, she will need a fore-ever family her gives her the time and space to become comfortable in her new home environment.

Shazza has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and she happily co-habits with them all.

While Shazza has access outside via a cat run in her foster home, she is looking for forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

Shazza is ready for meet and greets now. Shazza has had her first kitten vaccination and is litter trained and will be up to date with his parasite protection.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

    Coco

    Coco

    Jack Russell/Shih-tzu - female

Hi, I'm Coco. I was purchased from my original owner and have lived out west for 5 years. My owners are going overseas and have surrendered me into the care of DCH Animal Adoptions in the hope that my new and hopefully last forever home is found.

I am a playful girl and have already been desexed. I am friendly toward other dogs and not really worried about cats. I like my food a little too much which means I could do with a little waist trimming.

I'm looking for a family who can be with me most of the time. I am smoochy once I get to know you.

I walk gently on the lead and have mastered using the doggie door.

Coco is yet to be vet checked.

Coco was adopted on 12 June 2022 after 2 days in foster care

    Axel

    Axel

    Maltese/Shih tzu - male

Anxious boy 8.9kg Axel was surrendered into DCH Care as an urgent request from the Pound. He has calmed down considerably by being in care. Seems to be scared of felines but tries to play with other dogs.

He loves discovering the back yard so will need a back yard, no apartment.

Initially did not like the lead. Foster carer will arrange vet check, Heartworm check and C5 vaccination.

1st photo was taken after 2 days in care. 2nd photo was taken at the Pound after he was surrendered.

Axel was pacing towards the front door continuously on his arrival, however settled down overnight and especially after he had a warm bath the next day.

Since arriving at the 2nd foster house, he has been on several walks, now walking well on the lead and has met several doggie friends.

Currently on a successful trial at present.
