Shadow

Shadow

Silky Terrier x - male

Shadow is a little sweetheart. He is a quiet, very well behaved small dog who will just follow you from room to room, hence his name. Shadow is only small, about 5 kgs, but just adorable. He is great in the car and has basic obedience, and he loves going for little walks. Shadow is living with 3 larger dogs, birds and cats and is fine with them all. Shadow would be a wonderful addition to any household and would definitely suit a single person or older couple who would be able to give him the attention he deserves after his not so great start in life. Shadow is being fostered in the Wollongong area.

Minky

Minky

DSH - male

I am a very shy little boy, very soft to the touch and quite pretty. But if you are willing to be patient and kind towards me, I can be quite cuddly. When I do decide to trust you, I really do love a cuddle and a squish. I would be must suited to a quiet household, even through I don't mind other cats.

Frankie

Frankie

Medium Size Cross Breed - male

Frankie is a sweet little fellow who just loves people! He's very cute with his longish body and short legs. We have affectionally nick named him Frankfurt due to his porportions. Fankie gets on well with other dogs and loves to run and play yet he isn't hyper at all. His favourate things in life are food and cuddles. We aren't sure what Frankies breed mix is but it's obvious to us that he's not going to be a big dog by any means. We think he might grow to be around Corgi size but it's only an estimate. Frankie currently lives with 4 children and he is great with them. He loves pats and cuddles so if there are any vacant laps out there in need of a little cute then Frankie's your man

Turner

Turner

Mastiff x - male

Special Needs Dog

Turner has a grade 4 heart murmur and While this isn't affecting him at all at the moment he could require treatment and/or have a shortened lifespan if he develops problems in the future

Turner is a lovely big dog who was saved from death row after 17 days in the pound when nobody came to claim him. He loves to play fetch and tug..though with fetch we are working on the give command as he seems keen to combine the two games, he fetches, you tug !! Turner is proving to be very tolerant and well socialised with other dogs. He knows basic obedience commands Sit Drop Shake. He loves to be with you so in the yard Come is not much of an issue..if he sees you he will be there. He also loves car rides and walks nicely on lead. He is generally quiet but will give a warning bark if people are about. Turner will need an owner who is confident and preferably experienced with large dogs, due to his size he needs to have firm, consistent handling so he doesn't forget his manners !! Turner is housetrained and very well behaved inside the house, he has not shown any aggression but is a little 'over interested' in my cat when she is moving around so does need to be closely supervised around cats. Turner is such a gorgeous loving boy who will make a loyal and protective companion. He would be ideal for a person or family who is looking for a dog who has all the hard work done for them, he does not require much exercise at all though he does enjoy a short walk and playing ball, his main needs are for love and attention !!! Oh and food of course !!

Turner was adopted on 21 August 2007 after 1 year in foster care

Penny

Penny

Medium Size Cross Breed - female

Penny is a gentle little puppy. She just loves to be held and to rest her head over your shoulder. She is very quiet and very well behaved. Penny gets along with all other dogs and is on the submissive side. Penny looks up at her people so lovingly it's hard to imagine why such a sweet little puppy ended up unclaimed at the pound. She's a little thin but we are going to fatten her up while she's here. Penny is lovely around children and just loves the attention the lavish on her. We are not sure what her breed mix is but we don't believe she will grow to be a big dog she has a slight build and small paws. We think she will be medium sized at the most

Penny was adopted on 19 August 2007 after 1 day in foster care

Wil

Wil

Rhodesian Ridgeback - male

Wil didn't have the best start to life when he ended up scared and unsure at the pound. He has since become a very sweet natured and happy boy and will make a loyal and loving companion. He will grow to be a large sized boy (he's already 15 kilos) and will need on going obedience training and regular exercise. He has already learnt to sit and come but still needs to learn to walk on a lead. He is great with other dogs and is fine with cats. Due to his size he will be better with kids over 5 years so he doesn't accidentally knock them over. He travels well in the car and is toilet trained and is very independent. Please contact me if you can give this special boy a loving and forever home.

Wil was adopted on 19 August 2007 after 3 days in foster care

Bee

Bee

Chihuahua - female

Bee is a lovely lady who has a heart of gold. She can be timid on first meeting but once she is comfortable with you she is very affectionate. She travels extremely well in the car, doesn't bark much (I think I have heard her once or twice) and isn't a fussy eater. Bee came in with Phoenix as a surrender and although she doesn't have to be rehomed with Phoenix she defiantly needs a similar sized companion as she is much more confident with a male friend around. As Bee is quite tiny she wouldn't be suitable for kids under 8 as they may accidentally hurt her. When she looks at you its as though your her whole world.

Simba

Simba

male

Lilac Point Birman

Simba is just a gorgeous extremely affectionate, gentle boy, who likes nothing more than the company of people, and is very vocal with them especially males. He would make a great pet for a man. Simba has to be a indoor cat only as he has no outdoor sence at all and has quite poor eyesite due to a kittenhood injury. But he does like to be walked around the yard on his harness and lead, and likes to eat the grass like a horse. Simba would rather be the only cat in the household, as he doesn't take well to other cats or dogs.

Simba was adopted on 19 August 2007 after 4 weeks in foster care
