    Ginny

    Ginny

Domestic Short Hair - Ginger C - female

Ginny and her family were found as small kittens, alone and in need of medical attention. They luckily were found by a very caring individual who has sought out help for them but has also agreed to foster them until they find new homes.

Ginny is one of 3 ginger kittens named after the Wesleys in Harry Potter - Freddie (Fred), George, and Ginny.

The kittens are being raised as indoor cats while in foster care. Ginny is the most confident and adventurous kitten in the litter. Although Ginny appears to be shy at times, she loves her playtime with her toys and in the tunnel. Ginny has started using her voice (meows), particularly during her mealtime. Ginny and George (Brother) have developed a strong bond. However, Ginny is quite placid and gets along with all of her siblings, including our cat, Billie! Ginny is super friendly, dainty and easily distracted!

They have received their 1st F3 vaccination.
They will be required 2 further vaccinations to be fully vaccinated however these are not included in the adoption fee.

The kittens have been flea-treated and wormed.

    Leo

    Leo

    Domestic Medium Hair - male

Leo was found as a stray, on a main road and taken to a vet clinic by a good Samaritan.
His tail was broken and had become necrotic, so it needed to be amputated to save his life.
He had surgery on the 14th of December and is on a course of antibiotics.
We are still pending his vet costs however; he is going to need sponsorship to help cover his surgery.

Leo’s has been so through so much, after his tail amputation he had to be contained and in a recovery collar to prevent him licking or opening and infecting his wound.
He is such a bouncy happy kitten, so this was absolute torture for him.
He thoroughly enjoyed the moments of supervised collar off free play we were able to give him.

Leo has now had his stitches removed and his wound has healed very nicely.
Since then he has been unstoppable, he is bold and adventurous, his enthusiasm for life infectious.
He is hopping, bouncy and exploring every nook and cranny, he loves to pounce on his foster brother Kovu and they run around after each other like a couple of mad speedsters.

Leo is happiest when he can chase and play interactive toys with you but don’t let the adventurous spirit fool you, he is also a gentle soul that cherishes snuggly cuddles and nap times with you.
Although being such a climber, Leo is best suited to an indoor only home and any outdoor time should only happen in a supervised enclosure.
Leo really is such a floppy easy going kitten; he would make a great friend for children or other cats.

He has been has been treated for fleas/worms and is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.
He is currently eating Ivory coat kitten dry food and Fancy feast wet food and is using breeder’s choice paper litter but he can be transitioned to whatever brand you prefer.
Edit: Scratch the fancy feast, doesn't seem to agree with his tummy.
He has been having a rice with tuna or chicken for dinner for the past few nights.

Leo is currently located in the Penrith area and he is now ready to find his forever home.

Leo was adopted on 03 February 2022 after 1 month in foster care

    Hamish

    Hamish

    DSH - male

Hamish came into DCH care on 22nd September 2021, after being handed in to Campbelltown Pound as an orphan.

Hamish was only 10 days old and so he was bottle-fed and received lots of tlc, being a single kitten all by himself. As a result, Hamish is very people orientated, and thinks everything is all about him! He is a very affectionate little guy and is always happy to be picked up (carried around!), and cuddled.

Hamish is litter trained and very socialised - running to the front door when anyone knocks. He is not afraid of strangers and he also loves cat-friendly dogs! Hamish is currently eating Royal Canin Kitten food, both wet and dry, with lots of clean water always available.

    Hamish is:

  • Microchipped,
  • Wormed/flea-treated,
  • Fully Vaccinated,
  • Desexed
  • So he lives his best and longest life, Hamish must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

Solitaire came into care through no fault of her own, she has a beautiful placid nature and loves pats.
Solitaire is Currently in foster care with 2 other cats and is happy to do her own thing, she is not really interested in her foster brothers who are very playful, she is not too happy to be picked up or held, but loves to sit beside you and take lots of attention and pats.
You will often see her chasing her own tail, she has a few favourite toys she likes to play with.

    The Fuzzinator

    The Fuzzinator

    DMH - male

Through no fault of his own, The Fuzzinator (Fuzzy) has been returned into DCH care after being adopted at just 9 weeks old, and he is once again looking for his forever home.

Fuzzy originally came into DCH care at the tender age of 4 weeks, with his siblings, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and he happily lived with them all. As he has been an only cat in his adopted household for 6 months, he did get a little stressed being reintroduced to so many animals in foster care, but we believe with reduced numbers in his forever home Fuzzy will eventually acclimatise.

However, Fuzzy is very much a human's cat, he is very affectionate and doesn't mind sitting in your lap or being held for some on on one love.

At only 9 months old, Fuzzy is still very much a kitten, and like all kitten enjoys a play and nightime zoomies and is sure to bring some laughter and joy into his new families home.

Fuzzy is current on his vaccinations, parasite protection and has been desexed. While Fuzzy has had access outside into a cat run, he is looking for forever family that can offer him the protection of growing up and living a long life inside (or safe outside access).

Fuzzy is currently located at PetStock Rouse Hill, and he would be ecstatic to receive a visit and some love from a potential forever family.

The Fuzzinator was adopted on 23 January 2022 after 5 days in foster care

    Oki

    Oki

    Netherland Dwarf Rabbit - male

Oki is an energetic and adventurous young boy who enjoys exploring his environment, playing cat and mouse when he discovers new escape routes, eating and being petted.

Oki can respond to his name, if you hold out your hand and call him. He then enjoys a pat. Oki is toilet trained.

Oki has lived with another rabbit previously. However, the other rabbit picked on him.

In his previous home, he was used to being kept in a hutch at night and free roaming the backyard during the day.

Oki was desexed in October,21 and received both vaccinations against the Calicivirus.

Expressions of interest to adopt welcome now.

***Update 12/12/21 Poor Oki has come down with a UTI and we're seeking sponsorship to cover his additional vet costs which have so far come to $450.
