Moses

Moses

Ragdoll Seal Point - male

Moses and Naboo are 2 purebred Ragdoll male cats who are about to turn 2. They are registered with ANCATS.

Their owners are looking to surrender them and to have them re-homed due to Health concerns due to an infestation of ticks in their yard.

I am taking expressions of interest so if you can offer both of them a home please contact us. They would like to stay together and we are looking to find a home where they can remain together.

Moses is a seal point Ragdoll - he is slightly bigger than his brother
Naboo is a seal bi-colour Ragdoll.

The cats were born on 10/10/12.
We bought them from Rags2Riches near Newcastle and collected them just before Christmas.

Their vaccinations are up to date.
They are both desexed.

On Saturday both cats went to a specialist cat vet and got a tick clip, nail clip, were wormed and treated with frontline spray. Due to the tick clip they are shaved however its temporary and their fur will grow back.

Moses and Naboo spent most of the first 2 years indoors and in a large enclosure in our garden. A couple of months ago they dug their way out of the enclosure, keen to explore more of their surroundings. They love being able to go outside.

Moses weighes approx 7.5kg and Naboo is about 4.9kg.

Moses is a bit of a sook - they both like to be near us rather than sitting on our laps. They don't mind being picked up and cuddled for a couple of minutes. They both like sitting in boxes, Naboo likes sitting on any study you are doing. The owners had them both in a cattery last year and they were social with the other cats. They tend to be wary of visitors.

Apart from the ticks, they have been happy and healthy and have only needed to go to the vet for routine checks and vaccinations.
Moses has a kink in the tip of his tail -we were told that maybe he got trodden on as a small kitten.

Moses was adopted on 12 October 2014 after 6 days in foster care

The vet where we had them groomed did tell us that they have inherited poor quality teeth which will need attention earlier than might be expected. Naboo's teeth are the worst. Moses has a kink in the tip of his tail -we were told that maybe he got trodden on as a small kitten.

Eva

Eva

DSH - female

Eva is looking for a forever home. She has a very lovely playful nature and loves to run around the house attacking and pouncing on anything that catches her attention, but will also gladly curl up in your lap for a little nap.

Eva loves getting lots of attention from her carers, and doesn’t really like being alone. She is good around my other two cats, and will eat anything you put in her food bowl.

Eva would be a great addition to any family that can give her lots of love and attention.

She is located at Ryde NSW

  • Thanks to S.Barnett for her generous sponsorship of Eva

Eva was adopted on 05 October 2014 after 8 months in foster care

Sheba

Sheba

Domestic Short Hair - female

Queen Sheba! This beautiful kitty is gorgeous, elegant, intelligent and the right amount of crazy. She is shy and reserved until she gets to know you, but once you have her trust this gorgeous girl will wrap you and your family around her dainty, little paws.
She is hilariously vocal when she wants food or to play, demanding when claiming her 'rightful' position on your lap and a snuggly, affectionate 2am pillow stealer.
Sheba is used to a home with children and a dog. In true royal style she slaps the dog for stealing her food but thinks nothing of doing the same to the dog. Sheba has a minor obsession with string, and the cursor on the computer screen, and sleeping between the sheets. She's really is great company.
Sheba is the full package - if there weren't more furbabies to rescue she'd be staying here forever.

Sheba was adopted on 04 October 2014 after 3 weeks in foster care

Merlin

Merlin

DSH - male

Merlin is one smoochy boy who just loves a snuggle,a very large gentle giant. At only 10 months old Merlin is almost the size of a small dog with a heart as big and as kind as he is. Merlin has a very gentle spirit, nothing seems to bother him. Nothing gives Merlie more pleasure than cuddling on your lap or anyones lap for that matter of fact. Whether it is my little niece or nephew when they come to visit or one of the many dogs he lives with. Unfortunately when Merlin tries to cuddle up to Banjo the magpie he lives with.Merlin will cop a sharp beak on the bottom and a pull of his ears, still this doesn't seem to bother him. Merlin has fur so soft to the touch it feels like velvet. So if you are looking for one very handsome gentle boy who is child, dog and bird friendly Merlie is your boy.

Merlin was adopted on 27 September 2014 after 8 months in foster care

Calvin

Calvin

DSH - male

Calvin, Calvin, Calvin what can i say about little Calvin well i should say he isn't so little anymore as he is quite a big boy for his age.Calvin has this massive chest and he walks around like a bulldog.Strutting his stuff in all his glory.Even though he a large tuff looking boy, he is quite the gentle sweetie and one very sociable friendly boy who loves being around people. He loves to cuddle on the lounge and just hang around the house with you, a pretty layed back guy who seems to be able to tolerate anything like the pet magpie Banjo pulling at his ear for ages. For some strange reason Calvin seems to cop it the most from Banjo.I think Calvin is Banjo's favorite as i will find the two often cuddled up together. Calvin also lives in a household of many dogs and other cats, and he gets along really well with all of them. You will always find him sleeping next to one of the dogs especially the dingo Kiona.I have a niece 7 and a nephew 4 who gives Calvin plenty of children time and he loves the many cuddles and pats from the kids, he will let the kids carry him around like a dolly, and when put down Calvin will always go back for more. Calvin was dumped at a school with his mum and 6 brothers and sisters but now their are only 4 left Calvin his brothers Merlin, Tango and his sister Dee Dee. So if you are looking for a live cartoon character Calvin's your man.

He is used to cats, dogs and birds as he plays with the pet magpie.

Calvin was adopted on 25 September 2014 after 8 months in foster care

Tango

Tango

DSH - male

Tango is just an all round gorgeous little boy,a real chilled cat. Nothing seems to bother Tango, even when the pet Magpie Banjo pulls his ear, Tango will take it in his stride. But after about half an hour of ear pulling and many pecks from a long sharp beak Tango will retaliate and grab Banjo in a head lock, This in turn will just make Banjo angrier and so it happens all over again.Tango comes from quite a large litter and still lives with his 2 brothers and the 1 sister, they all love to cuddle up together especially on cold nights. but Tango still doesn't mind some alone time now and then. Occasionally my little 7 year old niece and 4 year old nephew will come and visit. These days Tango and his siblings receive many cuddles and kisses and lap up every bit of it. Following the kids around like dogs hoping for another cuddles or pat. Also living here are 4 dogs and 1 dingo, you will see Tango constantly rubbing himself on one of the dogs legs with no fear at all.The dogs look after him as if he was one of there pack. So if you would like a very gentle, squishy, children, bird and dog friendly cat.Tango is your man.
