Ginja

Ginja

DMH - male

Five little kitties have just come into our care, having been nurtured by a Good Samaritan who found them with their stray mum. Their rescuer has done an excellent job of socialising them, and they are all healthy and happy.

This ginger ninja has decided the world is his oyster and we are just there to share with him!  He is a little purr bucket too.  He loves to eat and his cute face and fluffiness are just too much.

These kitties have had their flea and worming treatments, and will be vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and desexed prior to adoption. Not yet 1kg, we estimate they will be available for adoption around Easter time. However, enquiries are welcome now. They are located in Milsons Point.
They are available to indoor only homes.

Ginja was adopted on 29 March 2020 after 2 weeks in foster care

Clover

Clover

Domestic Short Hair - female

Clover and her sister (Tilly) came into care as adorable tiny babies still needing to be bottle-fed.

As she quickly grew, it became evident she would be a very curious cat, running up to you as soon as you entered the room. She's constantly purring and loves any kind of play. Despite her jumping and playing she'll then happily curl up next to you or on your lap and nod off for hours.

Being bottle-fed from such a young age, Clover thinks all humans are her best friends!

Clover is microchipped, vaccinated, desexed, and all her treatments are up to date

She's looking forward to meeting you.

Clover was adopted on 29 March 2020 after 4 months in foster care

Vinnie

Vinnie is a sweet boy who is shy and unsure at first but once settled is a little ball of energy that loves to run, jump and play.. once he is content he will then come looking for pats and cuddles.
His new home must be an indoor home that understand he is a kitten that loves to run and jump around for hours. it is also preferred that he goes to a family that is home majority of the day and has another cat at home as he does stress when he is on his own.
He is fed a premium diet of Royal Canin kitten biscuits. He also enjoys some premium wet food now and then.
He is fully litter trained.
Up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. He is microchipped and desexed, so ready for his new home.

Teddy

Teddy

Jack Russell X - male

Teddy is a Jack Russell X (possibly with a beagle as he seems to have some beagle characteristics) who was surrendered to DCH because the owner's new rental home did not allow dogs.

Teddy is a very friendly dog who loves other dogs and people. He has spent the first ten years of his life as an outside dog so has not been house trained but that training is underway. He lives in doors at his foster home and is free to go outdoors whenever he likes.

He currently lives with 4 other dogs and they all get along great. Teddy does love the companionship of his foster carer and loves to sit with her on the couch.

He has settled in really well in his foster home and loves his daily walks and especially going to the dog park. At the dog park he loves saying hello to all the other dogs and getting pats from the people in the park. He is gentle and easy going. Teddy could live with another dog or on his own and could be a indoor or indoor/outdooor dog. He would benefit from a medium to large backyard. He has lots of energy for a 10 year old. He has had no experience with cats.

Teddy was adopted on 28 March 2020 after 4 weeks in foster care

Quigley

Quigley

DSH - male

Quigley

Indoor Only Cat

Available 29th March 2020

Quigley and his siblings, Quinn and Quincy were abandoned kittens that have been bottle-fed and cared for since they were 3-4 weeks old.

Quigley is a very confident kitten and loves to explore the house but prefers to be in the same room with people, just in case he can get an extra cuddle or two. This gorgeous ginger boy is always cuddling in next to me whenever I sit down and seems to take everything in around him with a quiet calmness. Quigley is a happy little soul, and is wonderful company.

As Quigley is still very young but quite confident, he will adapt to most families, although he has not been around small children. He is also okay with dogs that like cats!

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. Quigley is also litter-trained and well socialised with other kittens. Quigley is booked in for desexing on 27th March, and can be adopted from Sunday, 29th March 2020.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to come and meet Quigley. You and your family are most welcome to organise a time to visit! Although Quigley won't be ready to take home until March as he needs to reach 900grams, I can put him on hold for you if you would like to adopt him.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt these kittens from DCH

Princess

Princess

DSH - female

Five little kitties have just come into our care, having been nurtured by a Good Samaritan who found them with their stray mum. Their rescuer has done an excellent job of socialising them, and they are all healthy and happy.

Princess has been a little more reserved in her short time with us, and likes a little bit of space sometimes. It will take her a little longer to come out of her shell, but she is nonetheless verrrry cute.  Currently, she sometimes likes to hang out in the litter box, which is kind of funny.

Osha

Osha

Domestic Medium Hair - female

Osha

Indoor Only Cat

Available Now!

Osha and her sister, Olive, were handed in to Nepean Animal Hospital as strays when they were about 9-10 weeks old.

Now her sister has been adopted, Osha has made good friends with my other foster kittens. She is now best friends with our 2 Golden Retrievers and enjoys snuggling into their soft coats!.

Osha has a beautifully plush medium length coat with a pure white chest and neat little white socks. She is a lovely playful little character, who runs and darts around the room when she is excited. Osha absolutely loves pats and attention, and has a beautifully loud purr when she's happy! She has become a very affectionate little girl.

Osha would suit any loving family, as she has gained much confidence over the past few weeks. She runs to the door to greet family and visitors and has taken to carrying a toy mouse around the house! I think Osha would love to find a home with a cat-friendly dog!

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. Osha is also perfectly litter-trained.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to come and meet Osha. You and your family are most welcome to organise a time to visit!

Tilly and her sister (Clover) were first taken into care as tiny adorable babies that still had to be bottle-fed. Now, much bigger Tilly has proven to be the ultimate sweetheart. She's the perfect chill-out buddy and sweetest companion. Although she has a very calm and sleepy side, she’s always up for a long play or chase.

Tilly was adopted on 26 March 2020 after 4 months in foster care

Winnie

Winnie

Bull Dog (French) - female

Winnie didn’t have the best start to life, being found in pretty terrible condition. She had a very large burst cyst on her neck, fur missing all over and a deformed front foot.

Since being in care Winnie has flourished, receiving the medical treatment she so desperately needed. Winnie is a very chilled out girl and has only had positive reactions to every animal she has met, including rabbits! She has also lived with children aged 2 - 12 and just loves being around people.

Winnie will need a home that understands the breed and all that entails owning the French bulldog breed. Winnie is a dog that will require extra medical care as she gets older for arthritis and will need injections for this.

If you would like to discuss Adopting Winnie and then have a meet and greet with her please email us and we can set up a call.

Winnie was adopted on 25 March 2020 after 3 weeks in foster care
