Tina

Tina

Labrador X - female

Looking for the perfect family dog? Tina is your girl. At approximately 5 months old, Tina has just been rescued from a regional pound and is living in her foster home with her many foster siblings.
This girl just thrives on people, and as such would work so well in a busy family setting where people are around most of the time. Tina would not be suited to a home where she is left for long periods of time as her love for people is just too strong. With this, she will need strong and high fencing, with no small gates - she will definitely come looking for you if you're out too long and the fences aren't high enough!
Tina gets along with all of her current foster family, and so would definitely fit right into a home with another dog.
Tina is being vaccinated this week, and desexed next week, after which she will be ready for her new home. Please call her carer Rod on 0418239763 for more information, and to organise to meet Tina!

TC

TC

Domestic Short Hair - male

TC really has proved to be a Top Cat! He is a really happy boy, with an easygoing personality. During his time in our care, he has lived amiably alongside multiple foster cats and dogs, and has loved being with his carer’s children. In fact, sleeping on their bed, or on the adult’s bed, was his favourite.

Since TC is friendly with just about anyone, it is a puzzle why he is still looking for his furever home. But, he was surrendered to the pound by his owner at the age of 6 years, when we took him into our care. Unfortunately, many older foster cats are often overlooked in favour of little kittens, and TC has been one of them. He had no problem adjusting to his new foster home, and continues to be a really healthy boy, but just hasn’t had many enquiries.

Now 10 years old, TC is of course fully trained and socialised, and needs less attention than little kitties. He is adaptable and sociable, so after a settling in period, he will provide love and snuggles to a new family, whether it be with children and other animals (although he’s not keen on mature boy cats), or a single or couple who, perhaps, need to leave him alone for large parts of the day.

During his time in foster care, TC has been an indoor/outdoor cat; he has roamed happily during the day, but is always sure to get back in the evening to choose who he will snuggle in bed with this time. His outdoor time just needs to be in environment which is safe for cats to ensure he lives to a ripe old age.

Unfortunately for TC, his carer can no longer look after him so he has recently moved into temporary care in our cattery. Once more, he has proved adaptable, now living an indoor only life with no complaints. But he is really missing his snuggly family life and is lonely. We are sure he would like nothing more than to finally find a permanent family home.

TC is desexed, microchipped and his vaccinations are all up to date.

If you feel you would like to share your life with this adorable boy, please contact us to arrange a meet and greet in his current Windsor foster home.

TC was adopted on 14 February 2020 after 4.8 years in foster care

Olive

Olive

DSH - female

Olive

Indoor Only

Available After 15th February 2020

Olive and her sister, Osha, were handed in to Nepean Animal Hospital as strays when they were about 9-10 weeks old. Although quite friendly with people these siblings growled and fought with each other, and other kittens.

However, after only a couple of weeks in foster care with plenty of food and lots of cuddles, both Olive and Osha are trying to make friends with other foster kittens. Although they still growl a bit at each other, this now seems to be just a combination of habit and the usual rough sibling play.

Olive is a very loving kitty who enjoys cuddles and will quite happily sit on your lap purring happily, or climb onto your shoulder or even under your chin if she feels you are not paying enough attention to her! She has a cute little meow and does the typical cat rub-against-your-leg to be picked up.

Olive has a soft, sleek black coat with white chest and feet. She also has tabby markings underneath, which appear as black stripes within her black coat. Olive is the more affectionate of the two siblings, and would be suited to any loving family!

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. Olive is also litter-trained.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to come and meet Olive. You and your family are most welcome to organise a time to visit!

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt these kittens from DCH
