Sage

Sage

Domestic Short Hair - female

Sage (mumma cat)- a beautiful natured cat with the best house manners.

She has been a lovely mum to all her kittens and even adopted Cheeto and Moscato into her 6 week old litter.

Its estimated she is at least 3 years but is very healthy

She does have a lump on her stomach, near the lower nipples. It has been vet assessed and samples taken. However nothing showed up only inflammation cells.

She is very underweight but surprisingly has put on 500g since being in care. It’s a slow process but we are getting there.

Will be Microchipped, vaccianated, wormed and desexed.

Please contact us for any further information or to arrange a meet and greet.

Sage was adopted on 28 July 2019 after 6 months in foster care

Asia

Asia

Bengal - female

Asia is a delightful, interesting young character. She is confident, friendly, vocal, and enjoys a cuddle but it's playing and exploring that really take her fancy.

Asia lives up to the typical Bengal character, loves a game and I'm pretty sure she loves playing with water if her water bowl is anything to go by ;-)

Asia will suit a home without very young children who are after an energetic, more dog like cat and who has the space to let her explore and play. A home with an outdoor cattery as well as indoors would be ideal.

Asia is ok with some cats and not others, she is ok with dogs although hasn't lived with one directly.

For more information about Asia please email megan@dchanimalrescue.org.au

Asia was adopted on 27 July 2019 after 1 month in foster care

Dark Princess

Dark Princess

Bengal - female

Dark Princess is a nice natured female purebred Bengal who isn't overly vocal but will let you know when she wants your attention.

She is active and confident but does enjoy a cuddle and smooch with her owners too. She is very easy to handle but has better things to do than be petted all day!

Dark Princess gets along with some cats and not others and doesn't seem phased by dogs. She will need a home with room for her to play and explore and is used to life in a very large outdoor cattery. Due to the adventurous nature and hunting abilities of her breed she isn't suitable to be allowed to free roam outside.

She is a lovely adult cat who will be perfect for a home without very young children and who isn't after a lapcat but wants an active companion to share their life and enjoy a game with.

Please email (megan@dchanimalrescue.org.au) for more information.

Dark Princess was adopted on 26 July 2019 after 1 month in foster care

Harriet

Harriet

DSH - female

Harriet has 3 x sisters and a brother and has lovely dark markings on her mainly white coat, with a little black smudge on her nose and mouth.

Harriet likes to perch high on the cat tower and loves to play with anything that moves, including her own shadow! She is very sociable and cuddly and once she starts, her purr sounds like a little engine. Tummy rubbs are also a definite favourite.

Harriet and her siblings are very playful but they all have a very gentle nature and none of them bite or scratch, unless by accident. All 5 of these kittens, are friendly with other foster kittens and cats, and have made friends with the resident dogs as well!

Harriet should be an Inside Only cat as she has no outdoor experience or survival skills.

Harriet is microchipped, wormed, vaccinated and desexed. She is also litter trained

Harriet is now at Petstock Penrith if you would like to meet her!

DSH - male

Hendrix has 4 x sisters and a very confident attitude for such a little kitty! He is quite the foodie as well and loves his tucker! He looks right at you and has started making a little mieow to be picked up.

Hendrix is very well socialised and will easily become a lap cat if given half the chance. He is a very cute boy, mainly white in colour with a tabby grey patch on his ears and around his eyes, and a grey and black tail.

Hendrix and his sisters are very playful but they all have a very gentle nature and none of them bite or scratch, unless by accident. All 5 of these kittens, are friendly with other foster kittens and cats, and have made friends with the resident dogs as well!

Audrey and Avery

Audrey and Avery

Domestic Short Hair - female

Audrey and Avery have been hand raised since 1.5 weeks old after being found in a horse stable by a lovely member of the public before giving them over to DCH to care for.

They have had lots of handling and human interaction.
They have both grown to be lovely kittens.

They love to play and explore and constantly play together. They love to explore and chase each other around. They enjoy a cuddle and will sit on your lap and sleep next to you. They are very quick to purr and love lots of pats and attention. They are ok with kids but might be a little rough for younger kids. They have lots of energy and will climb in and out of cupboards and benefit from having a tall cat tree to climb. They love playing with pipe cleaners on the floor.

We are looking for a very special home for the "AA" sisters where they can live with their new family as indoors only cats. They would love a family who can play and interact with them and give them lots of attention.
We are looking for an indoor home for these kittens.

Dule

Dule

domestic short hair cat - male

A gorgeous ginger boy, Dule came to our home together with his sister, Dixie, as a very shy young kitten.

He quickly became a very playful and cheeky kitty, who enjoys the company of the resident older cats and plays happily with them whenever he can.

Dule is very sweet natured, and loves to cuddle on his human carers’ laps during these cold evenings. He is very confident and secure in his people interactions, and would make a loving addition to any family.

Dule is microchipped , vaccinated and will be desexed shortly. Ready for his furever home, he would love to meet you in his Ryde foster home. If you are interested in learning more about Dule, or to arrange a meet and greet, please contact his carer, Dusica.

Holly

Holly

DSH - female

Holly

Holly has 3 x sisters and a brother, and she is the tiniest of the five siblings but she had a big personality! This little girl is a calico stunner with black markings and a stumpy tail that wiggles when she is excited! The tail is naturally stumpy and would be from a Manx or similar breed in her parentage.

Holly is very affectionate, and loves getting cuddles and head rubs. She has no hesitation demanding your attention, running next to you as you walk, like a tiny puppy! Although small, she is always in the middle of the action and she makes a funny little trill sound when she is excited or happy.

Holly and her siblings are very playful but they all have a very gentle nature and none of them bite or scratch, unless by accident. All five of these kittens, are friendly with other foster kittens and cats, and are making friends with the resident dogs as well!

Holly is microchipped, wormed vaccinated and desexed. She is also litter trained. Holly should be an Inside Only cat as she has no outdoor experience or survival skills.

If you would like to meet Holly or her siblings, Hendrix, Harriet, Hilary and Hailey, you are most welcome to contact me and arrange a visit!

Holly was adopted on 20 July 2019 after 1 month in foster care

Hailey

Hailey

DSH - female

Hailey

Hailey has 3 sisters and a brother and she gets on well with the resident cats and is very affectionate with our dogs, also. Hailey is a cuddly girl that loves a head massage, and she will fall asleep in your arms.

Hailey and her siblings are very playful but they all have a very gentle nature and none of them bite or scratch, unless by accident. They are also all perfectly litter trained.

Hailey has beautiful big eyes and a cute little stumpy tail (like a Manx cat), and is very pretty, with a light orange colouring through her coat. Her tiny tail swishes around, just like the other kittens, when she is excited or about to pounce on a toy mouse.

Hailey is microchipped, wormed, vaccinated and desexed. Hailey should be an Inside Only cat as she has no outdoor experience or survival skills.

If you would like to meet Hailey, she is at Petstock Marsden Park as of 7th July, so stop by to see her and leave an expression of interest if you would like to adopt this gorgeous kitten.

Hailey was adopted on 19 July 2019 after 1 month in foster care

Polly

Polly

Domestic Short hair - female

Beautiful Polly was found in the roof of a horse supply building together with her young kittens just before Christmas last year, and fortunately was surrendered to DCH to allow her to raise them in a safe environment.

Polly has proven to be a sweet and affectionate feline companion who loves spending time with her human family, and lives very happily alongside the resident dog .

Polly just demands you give her love and affection; she will great you at the door with plenty of rubs and purrs. She loves cuddles, and a good chat with her humans….. and, although now over two years old, she very proudly shows of her tricks!

After motherhood, she now wants to be spoilt and loved by her very own furever human family in return for her enduring love. She is an indoor/outdoor cat, but is always taken indoors at night so she can cuddle up.

Polly is microchipped, vaccinated and already de-sexed.

If you’d like to arrange to meet the lovely Polly at her foster home near Windsor, please contact her carer, Debbie.

Polly was adopted on 15 July 2019 after 7 months in foster care
