Benji

Benji

Shih Tzu x Maltese - male

Benji is a typical happy and playful puppy. He is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Benji was adopted on 28 December 2007 after 1 month in foster care

Kender

Kender

Kelpie x Doberman? - male

Kender is an active puppy typical of the breed. He's had a dreadful start being rescued from Wagga pound and at the moment is a little underweight, but he's filling out nicely since coming into care.

He will need stimulation, training and socialisation as is usual for puppies and to make the most of his intelligence. He is naturally inquisitive. Any puppy needs attention and love and he will give back twofold what ever you give. Good exercise or long daily walks, together with ongoing training will make him the best family pet you could hope for.

Kender was adopted on 23 December 2007 after 1 month in foster care

Maggie

Maggie

Jack Russell x Ridgeback - female

both sweet gorgeous little pups. Their individual personalities are still emerging but Maggie is quite confident and outgoing while Penny is more cautious and reserved. They are available seperately

Maggie was adopted on 23 December 2007 after 1 month in foster care

Evie

Evie

Ridgeback x Staffy - female

Perfect candidate for dog training as not only is this young girl very clever, but she loves people and will do anything to keep you happy. Lots of big puppy kisses, and many hours playing with her foster sisters mean Evie is a happily socialised girl with other dogs and kids. She will still grow a little more so will need someone who will be willing to give her lots of training and regular exercise, and most importantly, alot of love and attention

Poor Evie has suffered from a gastro problem which has seen her in the vets for over a week and on various medications and treatments. She is thankfully getting better now but we are seeking help with her vet bills which have so far come to $650. If you can help please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click here Thank you to Rosemary for your generous donation towards Evie's vet fees

Evie was adopted on 23 December 2007 after 2 months in foster care

Abbie

Abbie

Cattle x Kelpie - female

Abbie or Abbie the Yabbie as she has been nicknamed.. This little girl likes the water.. On more than one occasion her carer has found her saturated after playing in their water bowls, and had to towel her dry. She would be the ideal little companion for a family who live near or spend a lot of time near water... Like her siblings she is a happy little girl who loves to play alone or with her littermates and their toys.

Abbie was adopted on 22 December 2007 after 3 weeks in foster care

Stevie

Stevie

Collie x Shephard - female

Stevie is the most beautiful little girl who was dumped with a broken leg and very underweight. The leg has been treated and Stevie is just the friendliest little girl you could ever meet. She loves everyone especially kids and other dogs. Stevie is not available until the leg cast is removed in 3 weeks time (mid December 2007) as she has a metal plate in her leg but she has no idea and runs, jumps and plays the same as any other pup and the vet has indicated that she should not have any permanent damage to the leg and to see her run she has just taken it all in her stride. After she bounces around and makes it known that she is so very pleased to see you she runs straight to the grass for her business in the morning so as to not soil her sleeping area. Stevie is just the sweetest, gentlest affectionate little girl you could ever meet. She is a quiet girl who very rarely barks or makes a noise and would love to go to a home where there is another dog or a family that are home during the day as she is always looking for love and attention. She loves to please and really has the sweetest gentlest nature.

Stevie was adopted on 20 December 2007 after 4 weeks in foster care

Cilla

Cilla

Staffy x? - female

Cilla was handed in at a vet for rehoming at only 8 weeks old. She is a beautiful little girl who loves human contact and attention. She has a short easy to manage coat complete with a beautiful ridge in the centre of her back... She has only been in care for a short while and although she takes a few days to adjust to her new environment, happily fits in with Sharla and her litter of pups. She even sneaks the occasional drink when Sharla is feeding her brood. She has adapted well and looks forward to finding a home where she can be part of the family forever.

Cilla was adopted on 19 December 2007 after 2 weeks in foster care

Rene

Rene

Blue Cattle Dog x - female

Rene:Beautiful natured little girl, in care with her brother and loving all the attention you can give her. This breed loves to work and be close to you so working from home, part-time or casual would just be ideal. Otherwise lots to keep her busy during the day, long regular walks, good training and socialisation while young will make her the best family pet. Not quite so gutsy as her brother so plays happily with the other foster pup I have with me and all my children.

Rene was adopted on 19 December 2007 after 1 month in foster care

Bronson

Bronson

purebred Labrador - male

After a few months of being on trial as a detection dog Bronson did not pass the test and so is ready for a family to call his own. Bronson is a lovely boy that is very well behaved. He is energetic but not over the top and will sit patiently for a pat. Bronson knows how to sit and wait for his food but would benefit from on going training. He would be great with slightly older children as he is a small built Labrador that is of medium size and he isn't hyperactive. He is still learning not to jump up and wants nothing more than to be with his humans. He gets along well with all other dogs and just wants to be everyone's friend. Bronson would do well with another dog for company although would adapt well to being an only dog as long as he was given enough stimulation and exercise. A family that was home during the day would be ideal. Bronson is a beautifully natured boy that deserves a family to call his own. Please email your enquiry or call after 6pm on weekdays

Bronson was adopted on 19 December 2007 after 2 months in foster care

Lucy

Lucy

Rotti x - female

Lucy is a gorgeous puppy who likes the company of other dogs. She is a gentle girl and would best suit a house that isn't boisterous. Lucy is growing more confident each day with people. She is happy to Come up and put her head on your lap for a pat, but Lucy doesn't like Being picked up a lot. A darling girl with a lot of love to give

Lucy was adopted on 18 December 2007 after 3 weeks in foster care
