Cisco

Cisco

Staffy x Cattle x bc? - male

Running and playing with his friends, Cisco is a bundle of fun that is looking for a willing family to care for him until he grows into a medium sized adult male and beyond. He is already looking forward to puppy preschool as he already sits patiently for his food, and will enjoy exercising and going for daily walks when his little legs have fully grown. He loves playing with his toys and will love any suitable family that makes him part of their own.

Cisco was adopted on 01 September 2007 after 3 months in foster care

Bubbles

Bubbles

Pomeranian - female

As her name suggests, Bubbles is full of life. She is one of the happiest dogs you could meet. Bubbles does love showering people with affection so you must be prepared for lots of kisses! She is currently living with a large dog and a puppy and is fine with both but I am sure she would be great as an only dog. Bubbles is still very active and enjoys playing with her toys and also going for walks, and she is great on a lead. Bubbles does have basic obedience and is very well behaved. She loves being in the car and watching all the action on the outside. Due to neglect, Bubbles has had to have her coat shaved (hence the lovely purple coat). Her coat is already growing back and will be back to a beautiful full coat in next to no time. As she will grow her coat back, she will require regular grooming to keep it in top condition. Bubbles is very healthy and has a great appetite. I am sure she would enjoy constant company and would be best suited to an adult household or a family with older children. Unfortunately, she is not very good with cats. Bubbles is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Fletcher

Fletcher

Purebred Black Labrador - male

Fletcher is your typical happy, bouncy labrador. He is high energy so needs to have an active family that can continue his obedience training and take him for daily walks. He can get very excited and although he will not jump on you, he loves to jump with all 4 feet off the ground. He loves children but would probably be better suited to older children due to his bouncy nature. He is a fun loving dog that gets along well with other dogs and is learning how to behave as a dog should with other dogs. He is well behaved at meal times and wants nothing more than to please and to be loved. He would be fine as an only dog as long as he was getting adequate exercise and stimulation.

Fletcher was adopted on 29 August 2007 after 1 month in foster care

Hannah

Hannah

Great Dane x - female

Hannah is the most gorgeous girl with amazing blue eyes

a real looker ! She has been in a family environment but her large size means we would advise housing with older children. She is not suitable for homing near poultry or other small animals but has been professionally obedience trained so is easy to handle. She has never been an only dog and loves playing so she would probably do better with some canine company.

Hannah suffered a leg injury while in foster care and as a result required surgery to her leg. She is fine now but her vet fees have reached $950 and we are seeking sponsorship to help cover these expenses.

Thank you to B.Webster and L.Farthing for your donations towards Hannah's vet bills

Hannah was adopted on 29 August 2007 after 7 months in foster care

Phoenix

Phoenix

Pomeranian - male

Phoenix is a stunning Pomeranian that came in with Bee. Although they get along well together phoenix would be just as happy by himself. He gets along well with other dogs his size- we haven't tested him with bigger yet. He travels well in the car however he doesn't like being in a carrier. He is happy being groomed (a couple of minutes a day keeps him looking great) and he is always glad to see you when you come home. He is fine with children. A lovely dog who is a pleasure to have around.

Phoenix was adopted on 27 August 2007 after 3 weeks in foster care

Humphrey

Humphrey

Labrador x Terrier - male

Humphrey is a dear sweet little boy. He's playful and a little bit coy. He likes to snuggle into to you when he's picked up. Humphrey gets along well with his foster sister and my dog and is no trouble. He will be medium size when fully grown

Humphrey was adopted on 27 August 2007 after 2 months in foster care

Snuggle

Snuggle

small-medium cross breed - female

Snuggle is a pint sized little sweetie who's allways so happy to see you. She is lovely with the children she currently lives with and people in general. She is also good with other dogs. Like her name suggests Snuggle enjoys being cuddled into your lap and also likes to run and play with her foster brother. She's only a little girl and we believe she will remain a fairly small dog when fully grown. She has a very short sleek coat that will be easy to care for. Snuggle is patiently waiting for her a family of her own to come scoop her up and love her for life.

Snuggle was adopted on 27 August 2007 after 1 year in foster care

Shadow

Shadow

Silky Terrier x - male

Shadow is a little sweetheart. He is a quiet, very well behaved small dog who will just follow you from room to room, hence his name. Shadow is only small, about 5 kgs, but just adorable. He is great in the car and has basic obedience, and he loves going for little walks. Shadow is living with 3 larger dogs, birds and cats and is fine with them all. Shadow would be a wonderful addition to any household and would definitely suit a single person or older couple who would be able to give him the attention he deserves after his not so great start in life. Shadow is being fostered in the Wollongong area.

Shadow was adopted on 24 August 2007 after 2 months in foster care

Frankie

Frankie

Medium Size Cross Breed - male

Frankie is a sweet little fellow who just loves people! He's very cute with his longish body and short legs. We have affectionally nick named him Frankfurt due to his porportions. Fankie gets on well with other dogs and loves to run and play yet he isn't hyper at all. His favourate things in life are food and cuddles. We aren't sure what Frankies breed mix is but it's obvious to us that he's not going to be a big dog by any means. We think he might grow to be around Corgi size but it's only an estimate. Frankie currently lives with 4 children and he is great with them. He loves pats and cuddles so if there are any vacant laps out there in need of a little cute then Frankie's your man

Frankie was adopted on 21 August 2007 after 1 day in foster care

Turner

Turner

Mastiff x - male

Special Needs Dog

Turner has a grade 4 heart murmur and While this isn't affecting him at all at the moment he could require treatment and/or have a shortened lifespan if he develops problems in the future

Turner is a lovely big dog who was saved from death row after 17 days in the pound when nobody came to claim him. He loves to play fetch and tug..though with fetch we are working on the give command as he seems keen to combine the two games, he fetches, you tug !! Turner is proving to be very tolerant and well socialised with other dogs. He knows basic obedience commands Sit Drop Shake. He loves to be with you so in the yard Come is not much of an issue..if he sees you he will be there. He also loves car rides and walks nicely on lead. He is generally quiet but will give a warning bark if people are about. Turner will need an owner who is confident and preferably experienced with large dogs, due to his size he needs to have firm, consistent handling so he doesn't forget his manners !! Turner is housetrained and very well behaved inside the house, he has not shown any aggression but is a little 'over interested' in my cat when she is moving around so does need to be closely supervised around cats. Turner is such a gorgeous loving boy who will make a loyal and protective companion. He would be ideal for a person or family who is looking for a dog who has all the hard work done for them, he does not require much exercise at all though he does enjoy a short walk and playing ball, his main needs are for love and attention !!! Oh and food of course !!
