Meet Caru

Hello, my name is Caru, it is a Welsh word meaning love. I have this name because I have a big grey patch of fur on my chin in the shape of a heart. I am a very pretty dark grey boy with a white blaze on my face and white socks and lovely brown eyes. When I first came to my foster home I was very scared. I didn’t want anyone to come near me or to touch me. If I was caught & picked up I went very still hoping that they would not hurt me. It took me about a week before I could stand to be held but then I realised that it felt really nice and so I purred. Now I am happy to be picked up and I purr a lot. I am still very scared of strangers so I would like someone to take me home with them who would spend the time to get to know me until I feel safe with them too. I also get on well with all the other cats in the house.

Caru was adopted on 24 August 2017 after 1 weeks in foster care
