Toffee

Toffee

DSH - female

Tiny Toffee is the only survivor of her family, and has fought valiantly for her survival from the moment she was rescued from the local animal shelter. Toffee is the tiny girl and at almost 19 weeks old she has just hit 1.2 kg (the target weight of a kitten half her age). While she might be tiny Toffee is mighty and demands attention if she feels like she is being ignored.

Toffee loves people and loves attention, loves being picked up and cuddled, and plays well with other kittens and cats and doesn't mind cohabitating with the resident dogs and bunny. Toffee gives sloppy kisses and can often give a sneaky nose chomp while her foster mum is trying to sleep.

While Toffee loves her foster mum and foster siblings, she has been raised in a single human household so may require sometime to become comfortable with strangers and children, however when she had a sleepover with her foster-grandparents she demanded love almost immediately. Update - Tiny Toffee has since moved to another carers home and has adjusted quickly and very well.

While Toffee has had access to an external cat run, for her own safety Toffee has been raised as internal cat and would be looking for a forever home that offers the same security.

Toffee has had her first kitten vaccinations – her new family will be responsible for completing her kitten vaccinations. Toffee is also litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection.

Toffee will be ready to adopt in a few weeks, once she has reached her target weight to be de-sexed. A meet and greet can be arranged now, at her foster home located in Ebenezer, near Windsor NSW.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Toffee was adopted on 22 July 2023 after 4 months in foster care

Momo

Momo

Domestic - female

Momo is such a sweet kitty. She has a quirky personality and loves to follow you around to see what you are doing. She loves playing with bouncy toys and laser pointers and cardboard boxes!

Sometimes she behaves like a dog and likes to roll around on the balcony or outside! She loves her supervised outside time and napping in the sun. If there is a sunny window no doubt Momo would be napping on it!

She is very treat and food driven which is good for training. She loves to greet you when you come home with meows and rubs on your legs wanting pats. She also loves when you come home with groceries. She likes to see what goodies you got and if there are any for her!

She eats whikas dry food in the mornings and wet food at night. Every now and then she will have chicken neck or some boiled chicken breast.

If you're sitting in the loungeroom she'll sit with you, if you're going to bed she'll snuggle on the bed too. She loves a good cuddly soft blanket! She loves scratches especially behind the ears and under her chin. She'll always find a weird position to sleep in.

Like with any new cat she will take a little bit of time to adjust. She is very keen to explore and play though. She doesn't like loud noises. Sometimes she will want to be left alone to do her own thing. She's not really a fan of fish. She prefers chicken or beef!

She is litter box trained.
She is currently desexed and fully vaccinated and will need her next vaccination in March 2022,

Medical Notes:
Momo has received an acne wash in the past for acne on her chin. No other known medical issues.

She will be best suited to a home where she is the only cat in the home and where there are no young or noisy kids.

This is an assisted rehoming / Private Listing.

Harlow

Harlow

DSH - male

Harlow is a truly handsome boy, and while quite shy on meeting new people once he is comfortable, he is such a sweety and rampages through the house. Harlow was rescued from a community cat colony and was sick when he first came into care and as such, he was wary on meeting new people and situations.

Now that Harlow has settled into his foster home, he can usually be found asleep on his foster mum's desk while she works from home or sleeping in a sunny spot in the cat run. At night he is usually found snuggled up in bed seeking company.

Although Harlow is a very affectionate cat with his foster mum, he will need a special family that will let him be a scared and neurotic boy until he has settled into his new home. He is a cat that needs to be given time and space to take things at his own pace and guide the humans when he is ready to give and receive affection; once he is comfortable it is like little switch is flicked and he is affectionate, funny and so so snuggly.

Harlow has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and he happily co-habits with them all. While Harlow has access outside via a cat run in his foster home, he is looking for forever family that can offer him the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

Harlow has been desexed, completed his kitten vaccinations and is litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection - Harlow is ready for adoption now.

Emma

Emma

Domestic short hair - female

Emma is half-tabby, half-tortie - which makes her adventurous and precocious. She is friendly and energetic. She loves to play but also values a deep sleep in the afternoons.

Emma was taken into DCH care after being plucked from the streets with her mum by a shelter. She has been friendly and affectionate from day 1 - often coaxing you to play with her. She loves to play with feathery cat toys and balls. She also likes to climb cat trees. However, when she tires, she will cuddle up beside you or in your lap for a snooze. Her favourite spot is snuggling up against your neck. She purrs instantly when you caress her soft fur.

She eats wet and dry kitten food, and is litter-trained. She is also very quiet, occasionally meowing softly if she wants your attention.

Emma is microchipped and desexed. She has received her first vaccination.

If you are looking for a friendly and playful kitten with loads of personality, then Emma would love to meet you.

Stormy

Stormy

Domestic Short Hair - male

Meet Lunar, Stormy, and Bear! 🐾

These adorable kittens have had quite the journey, finding themselves at the Western Sydney Council Animal Shelter as tiny three-week-olds. Luckily, a compassionate member of the shelter staff stepped in to bottle feed them, and when DCH had some room available, they were taken into foster care. Now, Lunar, Stormy, and Bear are ready to embark on their next adventure: finding their forever homes with loving and responsible owners like you!

All three kittens have been raised as indoors-only cats, and they're now searching for forever homes that will provide them with the same level of care and safety. They deserve a loving environment where they can feel secure and cherished and be part of the family.

In preparation for their new lives, Lunar, Stormy, and Bear have been desexed and microchipped, ensuring their long-term well-being. They're now ready to join your family and bring happiness and companionship into your home.

If you're ready to embark on a lifetime of love, laughter, and cuddles with one (or more!) of these adorable kittens, don't hesitate to reach out. They're available now for suitable indoors-only homes, so act quickly to adopt your furry rescued friend!

Brutus

Brutus

Domestic medium hair - male

Brutus is a darling, gentle kitten who is so very chilled. He has a wonderfully-soft coat and will purr as soon as you caress him. He also has a white tip on his tail. He looks up at you with his big, saucer-like eyes, and you can't help but smile. He is friendly and wants to cuddle up next to you if you are nearby. He was found on the street alone and hungry. He was taken into DCH care where he has thrived.

Brutus likes to play with feathery cat toys and balls (especially if the balls are in a maze). He also likes climbing and sleeping in cat trees. He is friendly with other cats, dogs and people. However, because he is so sweet and gentle, and always wanting to follow the other pets, he can be prone to getting bullied by bigger kittens/cats if not introduced properly.

Brutus likes wet and dry kitten food. He is litter-trained and cleans himself fastidiously, no mean feat considering his soft medium-length fur. He has a very gentle temperament and he is very quiet. He is scheduled for his desexing procedure on Friday, 7 July 2023. He is already microchipped and has received his first vaccination.

If you are looking for a sweet and gentle kitten who is very chilled, then Brutus would love to meet you.

Tabatha

Tabatha

DSH - female

What can I say , when they were handing out sweetness this little girl got a double dose and when it came to cuteness Tabatha got triple dose .

Tabatha is one adorable little girl with just the right amount of cheekiness thrown in . Tabatha has been in care with 2 adult dogs whom she gets on fine with and she is very respectful of the adult cats in the household .

At this point in time i am happy to take expressions of interest only up until she gets desexed which will be sometime next week.

Tabatha has a lovely cheeky personality and is going to make a lovely companion for some lucky person (another one I could easily keep)

Tabatha is not overly fussy when it comes to food and is litter trained.

Tabatha has been microchipped had her first vaccination and has been flea and worm treated.

She is in care in the Granville area

Photos don't do her justice
