Minnie

Minnie

Mastiff x Shepherd - female

Minnie is an all-action puppy. She's fun, energetic and very clever. Minnie knows her name, can sit and comes when called. She also loves playing with her brother Wombat and her 2 other canine house-mates. Minnie is a very inquisitive puppy so she will need an owner willing to give her plenty of training and attention.

Capri

Capri

DSH - female

Capri is the 4th member of the surrendered litter and is a gentle sweet quiet little girl who has adapted well to her new foster home. She was very shy at first but has responded quickly to cuddles and kisses and has become a very loving playful little kitten. I can recommend Capri will fit in to any household and will give a lot of love to her new owners in her forever home

Cisco, Coal and Capri are all half Bengal as their mother is a pedigree Bengal cat. They will be quite large when fully grown, they love water Capri has always one paw in the water bowl as she drinks, they are very talkative and respond when you talk back to them, they are very different to other cats, very affectionate to the extreme and just quite unique in so many ways

Capri was adopted on 10 June 2011 after 2 months in foster care

Josie

Josie

Shih tzu x - female

Josie is a lovely friendly little girl who needs to be inside with her family and she mastered the doggy door in a flash so that she was not left out of anything that was happening inside. She gets on well with other dogs but does suffer from separation anxiety even when left home with another dog so she really needs to go to a home where someone is home all day and ideally where there is another small dog for her to play with. She is housetrained and walks well on a lead but does have a tendency to get car sick so nothing to eat before taking her for a drive. Josie is a little nervous when initially meeting strangers especially men but warms up quickly once she know everything is OK. Josie is in care in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Pia

Pia

Pia is a nice friendly little kitten who is good with other kittens and loves nothing more than running around and playing games. She is very entertaining when she gets going and you could watch her for hours.

If you can help us by sponsoring some of Pia and Benson's additional vet expenses, which have come to $300 please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below.

Thank you to Selina for her generous donation towards Pia and Bensen. Their vet fees have now been fully covered.

Flippa

Flippa

DSH - female

Flippa is a very friendly and playful kitten. She has gorgeous colouring and loves to sit on your lap or climb all over you. She bounces around with endless energy but tires herself out quickly and needs a nap. She would make a wonderful pet or companion as she is very giving. She will make you laugh with her fun personality.

Flippa was adopted on 07 June 2011 after 3 weeks in foster care

Gingerbread

Gingerbread

DSH - male

Gingerbread is cute, playful and affectionate. He's a great eater and is already using the litter tray. Currently he lives with several other cats, dogs and boisterous children, none of which bother him. Because Gingerbread is only 6 weeks old he isn't available for adoption for another fortnight but if you'd like to meet with him beforehand, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Gingerbread was adopted on 05 June 2011 after 2 weeks in foster care

Cisco was surrendered along with Cutie. He is a little darling and will sit in front of my legs and beg to be picked up and cuddled. He settled in to his new foster home really easily and has become a beautiful, affectionate little man who is ready to be adopted in to any household that wants a cuddly, playful little kitten

Sophie

Sophie

DSH - female

I am a very sweet natured 3 yr old cat. I am gentle and a bit shy until I trust you which doesn't take long at all. I would prefer a quiet household without dogs or with very cat friendly, quiet dogs. I am not demanding at all but I do still love affection. I have a lovely loud purr and purr the whole time I am being patted and when I eat. I am not a fussy eater, in fact I could afford to lose a few kilos! I love other cats so another cat to live with would be nice. I arrived at the pound with my own litter of kittens and then even fostered other kittens for my rescuers! All the kittens were adopted but I kept getting overlooked. I have been searching for my forever home for over a year and a half now, surely someone would like me in time for winter to keep their feet warm in bed? My carer likes to hold me in her arms and I snuggle right in and rest my head on her chest. I really don't understand why I am still looking for a home. People have called me plain but my carer thinks I'm beautiful because my gentle nature shines through. Please consider me if you are wanting a fuss free girl who really does deserve a wonderful home.

Sophie was adopted on 03 June 2011 after 1.5 years in foster care

Maddie

Maddie

Kelpie x - female

Maddie is a beautiful gentle natured girl who just craves human company, she is happiest just being able to touch you. She is currently being homes with other dogs, both older and younger and she has also been around cats which she seems scared of. Maddie is also very good with children. All in all Maddie would make the perfect family dog and would also be an excellent dog for agility or flyball as she is very quick and agile.

Maddie was adopted on 02 June 2011 after 1 week in foster care

Edenn

Edenn

Collie Rough - female

At 8 years old Edenn was dumped when they had finished breeding from her. She is a little timid but is responding well to gentle encouragement. Edenn loves a game of ball and gets very excited about it. She gets on well with other dogs and loves running around with them as she is quite active for her age. She is enjoying the freedom of the house and is now housetrained thanks to the doggie door. She needs to be an inside dog when the family are home and is quite happy to sleep on a soft rug beside the bed and stays there all night. She has responded very well to a good diet and is slowly putting on weight as she came in very thin, with major flea dermatitis and had dropped her coat most likely from having her last litter just before being dumped. Edenn loves her little jacket to keep her warm while lying in front of the fire at night and is a nice quiet girl who is no bother at all. She walks well on a lead and is a sweet gentle natured girl who will fit in well with most families and make a very devoted girl to share their lives with. A property inspection is required.

She is in care at Rydal near Lithgow.
