Manson

Manson

Kelpie x - male

Manson comes across very timid at first with his tail between his legs but after a few minutes of trust he is very excited and is super friendly. Manson loves people of all shapes and sizes and just loves other dogs. He always leaves the dog park the most popular dog! Manson is interested in cats and is not aggressive toward them at all. Manson needs a bit of encouragement to get into the car but once he is in there he just loves going for a drive. I would recommend Manson for any family home as long as he will get lots of attention and cuddles and walks to the dog park for his daily social hit. He is a nice easy going boy who will do anything to please you.

Porsche

Porsche

DSH - female

Porsche is a lovely little kitten who were found dumped in a box near a local creek. Despite this, she is healthy and happy. She loves chasing her siblings around and playing with the many cat toys on offer. Porsche loves her cuddles and pats but is quite happy being left alone to amuse herself so she would suit a family or a working person beautifully.

Blacky

Blacky

DSH - female

Blacky appears to have been dumped and has had to fend for herself for a number of months. However now she is safe in foster care and is starting to enjoy the good life. Blacky was overgrooming due to stress when on the streets but she's definitely relaxing now and her hair on her tail and legs is already starting to re-grow. Blacky is quite an independent cat who likes equal time by herself and with her owner and she is fine as an indoor/outdoor cat. She is very faithful and is starting to come when you call her. During the day, she will sit outside the front door, or on the top part of the driveway and never move, just happy to take in the scenery. Blacky will need a family that is understanding that she will take little while to learn to trust them but if you are slow and gentle she is happy to sit on your lap and enjoy a scratch. She particularly likes being scratched on the back of her head. Blacky is a lovely young girl who really deserves a chance at a normal, loving, family life.

Blacky was adopted on 27 March 2011 after 5 days in foster care

Libby and Jackson

Libby and Jackson

Pomeranian x - male

Libby and Jackson have just come into care after being rescued from the pound. At first I thought their nervousness and timidity was due to the change of environment but it is now very apparent that they have been the victims of abuse. Despite this though, they are the most loving and friendly dogs when they come to trust you. As soon as they see me now, they come running over wanting a pat or a scratch on the tummy. They love playing with each other and it's really heartening seeing them chasing each other around my backyard, just relaxing and having fun. Neither Libby or Jackson show any interest in the cats I have and will often be seen sharing their bed or their food with them. Both are beginning to allow my children to get close to them but only if they are gentle and quiet in their approach. Unfortunately, neither dog is able to be walked at the moment as the sight of a lead or chain causes an incredible amount of stress and fear. At this point in time I believe it is imperative that these dogs are adopted together as when they are apart from each other both tend to fret and become quite upset. If you feel you can offer these beautiful puppies a loving and nurturing home please contact me. With a bit of time and patience I really believe you'll be rewarded with two very special companions.
