Jessie

Jessie

DSH - female

Jessie was only 8 months old when she ended up in the pound, she wasn't microchipped so that gave her 7 days to find a home before she would be euthanaised. Luckily for Jessie a DCH carer came along and saved her, and what a great save she was! Jessie is a lovely cat that is very friendly and loves cuddles from her humans. She is very happy to sit with you and spend time with you anytime you want to. As soon as you walk into the room she is purring with happiness and comes straight over for a pat. Being that Jessie is so confident and friendly she would suit most homes. She is currently an indoor only cat and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated and is ready for her home now.

Jessie was adopted on 07 October 2012 after 2 weeks in foster care

Milkshake

Milkshake

DSH - female

Milkshake is a lovely, happy cat with beautiful facial marking and ultra soft fur. She loves her food and especially loves getting cuddles while eating and will come and get you with meows and purrs getting you to follow her to her food bowl for eat-cuddles. Milkshake is a small, gentle cat with lots of energy forever chasing leaves and paper-balls around. She is very entertaining and often sprints up and down the hallway chasing herself, or our other cat. Milkshake will greet you when you return from work, shopping or just when you get up in the morning with purrs, meows and weaving in and out between your legs. She enjoys our garden lying around in the grass but doesn't wander far away. When she returns from a stint in the garden she will meow to let you know she is back and ready for some food-cuddles. She is a very lovely, gentle cat that will suit most households. She has bonded well with our male cat, so I believe she would be fine in a household with other cats.

Milkshake was adopted on 06 October 2012 after 1.5 years in foster care

Mufasa

Mufasa

DMH - male

Mufasa came into the local pound as a stray with no microchip his owners could not be traced so he waited and waited and no one came until a DCH foster carer saw him there and decided to take him home.

Mufasa has a wonderful personality, he is fine with other cats and is also good with his carers 2 dogs. He purrs as soon as you go near him and enjoys pats and human company very much. Mufasa likes to sit up on the lounge with you of a night and does come inside and outside during the day.

Mufasa is a big boy and has so much love to give a new family, he just flops around and lays on the floor watching the world go by, he takes everything in his stride and would make someone very happy.

Mufasa was adopted on 01 October 2012 after 2 months in foster care

Pricillia

Pricillia

DSH - female

Pricillia (or 'Cilly' as we call her) is a charming and friendly girl who's always up for some adventure. She's super cuddly, and happy to curl up on your lap anytime and purr away. She loves roaming around the house with her foster sister Germaine looking for new places to explore and things to play with. Pricillia loves the company of other cats but would be okay as an 'only' cat as long as someone was happy to spend time playing with her. She also loves to watch you cook and sits on her carer's windowsill watching the dinner preparations. Pricillia is 100% litter trained and learning to use her scratching post. She is ready for her new home now!

Macy

Macy

female

Macy can be best described as a very sweet sweethart. She has impeccable manners, is very neat and tidy, and loves a good rub around the face or down her back. That said, she is in no way in your face about cuddles. She loves it when you come to her, and she will come to you from time to time, or sit next to you quietly while you are doing something. While Macy has been on vacation with us, she has lived with another cat, who she doesn?t mind. They sleep together, eat together, and chase each other around the house. She has also lived with a dog who after a couple of days, had no problem telling them she was not to be messed with. For the most part Macy will do her own thing, lounge around on a bed or suitably comfortable sofa or folded blanket. When you walk in the room she talks to you and rolls over for a scratch. She?s an absolute delight to have around.

Macy was adopted on 25 September 2012 after 9 months in foster care

Meeke

Meeke

DMH - female

Meeke has been in foster care for 9 months now and still hasn't found a home. She is a lovely girl that is friendly and likes company but is also very happy to sleep on the bed all day or be outside in the garden. Meeke is great with us winds around out legs for pats and sits on the lounge at night with us but she is shy and a bit timid with new people. Her new owner would need to giver her time to settle in, she is ok with other cats here and is fine with my dogs as long as they dont get in her face.

Meeke is being cared for in the WINDSOR area.

Meeke was adopted on 23 September 2012 after 10 months in foster care
