Jasper's story

Hi Amanda, Not sure if you remember us but last year in July we adopted Jasper. Today we are celebrating his 1st birthday and we wanted to give you an update on how the little fella is going.Little Jazzy, as he is often called, is one of the family and comes with us pretty much wherever we go. He attends doggy day care once a week which he is obsessed with, has a dog walker on Wednesdays and goes to the off leash dog park in Bayview everyday where he loses his mind. All in all, expensive but well worth it to see how excited he gets. Needless to say he is thoroughly spoiled. We love him to bits and he has made us incredibly happy. We don't know how we ever lived without him!!

Jasper is the most social dog we have ever come across and is forever licking the faces of every other dog he meets. He has MANY friends at both the dog park and doggy day care which you can see in some of the photos. Jasper is a really well behaved dog, although he still has a slight tendency to chew through things and meticulously pulls out all the stuffing (and eyeballs) from his fluffy toys. We recently discovered that two other dogs he regularly plays with have come from DCH Adoptions. The dogs are Maloo who was previously called Jordy and Juno. We hope his sister Lola is doing well and if you have any photos of her we'd really like to see them. You guys do an amazing job and you bring so much joy to the adoption families.

We just thought we would send you through some photos as he has grown up, as you said you would be very interested to see how he looks when he's older. As you can see he is still a handsome young lad and still gets all the attention at the dog park.

Thanks again and enjoy....

Jono and Liz
