DJ's story

Hello to All at DCH

On 25 November 2006 I adopted a Rotti from DCH, his name was D J. D J's first mum was Fran. Well as you can see a little time has gone by and things have certainly changed! I modified D J's name to Deeje (pronounced deeeje), we played and worked, or should I say, he played and I worked, and I was the fortunate one who watched a butterfly emerge from its cocoon.

D J was 14 months old (says his vet), weighed 29kg, with a nervous tendancy, and big melting Rotti eyes, and as I said, boy have things changed! Deeje has grown 2 taller and 2 longer, weighes 48kg, (we're on a little diet), and is the picture of health. We continually are stopped by strangers when we're out walking or taking in a park, complimenting Deeje on his good looks, how well behaved he is and can I pat him, he is the centre of attention! Sometimes they say something to me!

Deeje has basic obedience plus some extras, he wont eat until told to, will leave treats until told, will 'fetch' his 'ball' and bring it to my hand, waits at the 'car' when going for a drive, waits at the 'gate' when we are going for a walk, says 'hello' in his best yodel and is an all round snag who loves a cuddle and a sort of nurse. If anyone at DCH has contact with Fran could you please forward this mail to her or let her know Deeje is going fantastically.
