Huey

Huey

Greyhound - male

Huey is a gorgeous little man with a sweet and friendly nature. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He would love a home with another doggie playmate or kids to play with. He has been introduced to cats so can go to a cat household. Despite their speed, Greyhounds dont actually require alot of exercise and would usually prefer to be couch potatoes. They make great pets.

Huey was adopted on 04 September 2006 after 2 months in foster care

Kayla

Kayla

English Cocker Spaniel - female

Kayla is a lovely mature dog that is past the puppy stage. She would suit a quiet family without young children. Kayla is a lovely friendly girl who loves nothing better than a cuddle on the lounge. For her age, she's still an active girl, walks well on the lead and is learning basic obedience. She gets along well with other dogs but may thrive best with the attention devoted solely on her.

Brandy

Brandy

Shephard x kelpie? - female

Brandy is a super friendly, alert, agile and active but with a definite sensitive side. She is responding rapidly to training, is very social with other dogs, leads well and loves an off-leash run to burn off energy. She would be ideal for ongoing/advanced training and reward her owner with obedience and loyalty.

Brandy was adopted on 31 August 2006 after 7 months in foster care

Bruno and Beatrice

Bruno and Beatrice

British Bulldog - mixed

Bruno and Beatrice were surrendered when their owners no longer had time to look after them. They have been raised around young children and are very tolerant with them. Despite being terribly overweight when they first came into care, they have now slimmed down well and are in great health. They are available as a pair as Bruno has been with Beatrice his whole life and they are very close. Bruno is 4years old, Beatrice is 6 years old.

Bruno and Beatrice was adopted on 27 August 2006 after 2 months in foster care

Sam

Sam

Shephard x Dane? - male

What a lovely friendly boy! Sam adores people, mixes very well with other dogs and is well trained. He heels beautifully, sits, stays, comes and shakes hands. He was surrendered as he grew much larger than expected and while he adores children, he is simply too big for young ones. He is not an overly energetic dog so would be fine in a normal sized yard provding he got a daily outing.

Sam was adopted on 26 August 2006 after 2 weeks in foster care

Pippi

Pippi

Cattle x - female

Pippi is a lovely happy playful little girl. She is currently living with a meduim large cross breed dog and they get along famously. Pippi sleeps against her belly and they play very well together. Pippi knows her name and comes when called and will give you little kisses hello. She will chase a ball and is learning to walk on a lead and is progressing well. At the moment is is an inside/outside dog and loves to snuggle up against your back on the couch at night. She is quite fond of neck scratches also. Pippi also appears to have a nuturing streak we learnt this because her foster sister has a sore ear and Pippi will spend up to half an hour trying to clean it for her and make it better. She is very sweet. When you pick her up she will cuddle into your neck like she knows just what cuddles are for. Pippi has been estimated at being around 4/5 months old and is in good health. Pippi is a small dog, She looks very much like a Daschund x cattle dog and I doubt she will get much bigger than she is now.

Pippi was adopted on 26 August 2006 after 1 month in foster care
