Sasha

Sasha

Samoyed - female

Slender female Samoyed with a thin coat for and a beautiful cuddly nature. Sasha wants nothing more than to go everywhere with you and she travels quietly in the car and watches the scenery go by. Sasha is well socialised with other dogs and has playful nature. She doesn't bark and is content to watch over the back yard or follow you from room to room. She is not a jumper and would be great with kids or an older couple as she is quite attentive and gentle. She would also make a good pets-as-therapy dog due to her quiet patient nature. Sasha sleeps soundly and peacefully through the night and knows how to use a dog door to let herself out to go to the toilet.

Sasha was adopted on 13 June 2005 after 2 weeks in foster care

Darcy

Darcy

Kelpie x - male

Darcy is a quiet boy, a bit shy and loves to spend as much time with you as possible. He would love to find a home with older children to play with or would make a fantastic adults companion. Darcy loves to be close and adores cuddles. Darcy is a smart boy who is willing to please and is learning fast, he will need to continue his training especially on lead. He has not dug at all and has been housetrained quickly. Darcy would love to have another dog to play with and gets along well with his foster carers other dog. Darcy has only been in care for a few days, but his confidence is growing rapidly, and I can see he is going to make someone a wonderful companion. If you are looking for an intelligent active companion and understand the needs of working breeds then Darcy could be the perfect dog for you.

Darcy was adopted on 12 June 2005 after 1 month in foster care

Gemma

Gemma

Labrador x Setter? - female

Gemma is a lovely playful girl, she will be large size when fully grown. She is a reasonably calm dog, is picking up the house rules very quickly and sits for her dinner and is almost house trained. She loves playing with other dogs and loves cuddles from people. She would make a lovely family dog.

Gemma was adopted on 11 June 2005 after 1 month in foster care

Thorn

Thorn

Samoyed - male

Thorn is a good sized Samoyed with a bit too much weight on him. He could do with a bit of regular exercise. He loves to go for walks and see the out doors and has been allowed indoors in the past. He is a friendly aloof natured boy. Thorn smiles around at everything and takes it all in; he is a well adjusted boy and takes everything in his stride. He will need regular walking and about 20minutes of grooming to keep him looking his gorgeous self. Thorn would be good with kids as he is quiet and laid back and doesn't mind being climbed all over. Thorn will also pull on the lead when you first start walking but does settle down as he gets puffed quickly due to being a bit over weight. He travels well in the car and will go anywhere you ask him. Thorn is currently being cared for in a temporary foster home in Carlingford, Sydney.

Thorn was adopted on 04 June 2005 after 2 days in foster care

Nina

Nina

Staffy x - female

Nina is a sweet, friendly girl that gets along fine with all dogs. She is also fine with cats as she shares her bed with three kittens. She is currently learning basic commands and loves to snuggle up on the lounge wrapped in her favourite blanket. She does not cry at night and comes when called. She is not as stocky as a purebred Staffy and has slightly longer legs. She did not have the best start in life and now deserves a family that can give her the love and attention she deserves.

Nina was adopted on 04 June 2005 after 1 weeks in foster care

Kell

Kell

Labrador x - female

Kell is a gorgeous Lab x (rhodesian ridgeback?), she is Lab size and a little tubby. Kell was reluctantly surrendered to the pound when her owner had to move from his house due to an injury. Kell show all the traits of a well loved inside dog. She is housetrained, quiet and has a loving and gentle nature. Kell would love to go to a home where she can be the special companion for the man of the house particularly. Kell is good with children and other dogs. Kell is a very special girl and we are looking for an equally special home, If you are looking for a companion to share your life with then you may be lucky enough to share it with Kell.

Zack aka Jax

Zack aka Jax

Cattle dog x (Doberman x?) - male

Zack is very friendly and is lots of fun. He is going well with obedience training and can sit, stay and come on command. Great with other dogs and good with cats, although bounces around a bit, like most pups do. His mother was a red stumpy tail and his father is a Doberman X. He has a beautiful golden coat, the photo doesn't do him justice. Medium to large sized dog.

Zack aka Jax was adopted on 04 June 2005 after 3 months in foster care

Rupert II

Rupert II

Cavalier King Charles - male

Rupert is a lovely natured boy. Gets along well with other dogs and children. Rupert is blind in one eye but this doesn't stop him enjoying life. He is a very friendly fellow who is now looking for his forever home.

Rupert II was adopted on 02 June 2005 after 2 weeks in foster care

Bear

Bear

Shephard x - male

Bear is quite the loyal companion. He loves nothing more to be following his humans around and laying and sleeping at their feet. Bear loves playing with other dogs (foster carer has two large dogs) and loves being part of the action wherever that happens to be. As has gets a little older the real Shepard looks have stated to develop. He ears are nearly standing up and he's developing a longish nose. Bear rarely has accidents in the house and if he does it's only because he couldn't get outside. The ideal home for Bear is with someone where he will be allowed indoors to be in human company when you are home and another doggie companion for when you're out at work is a must.

Bear was adopted on 02 June 2005 after 4 weeks in foster care
