Xena

Xena

Cross Breed - female

Xena was the runt of the litter and is still small in comparison to her brother Lance. She has massive brown eyes and her hair is short and smooth all over. She got her name as she may be smaller than her foster mates but can hold her own against them and does not hesitate to stand up for herself. Xena is a massive smooch, you know when she's had enough of playing with the 'big dogs' as she will come running and stand behind us. She has no problems settling down and most nights falls asleep on my lap before we put her into bed. Xena will be a medium to large size dog so will need to go to a home where she will get plenty of training and exercise and lots of attention

Xena was adopted on 19 December 2010 after 2 months in foster care

Buddy

Buddy

Cross Breed - male

Buddy is an Amazing dog. For such a young age he is very intelligent and already knows how to sit and is some what toilet trained. Buddy came into care as a 'Cross Breed' but I believe he may have Wolfhound in him as he has this adorable little beard and has grown quite quickly already. In saying that, he will be a large dog when fully grown. However don't let the thought of him being big scare you, he is so gentle and sweet natured and he is Fantastic with children. Especially my 19 month old son who absolutely adores him. My son likes to pull on his tail and drag him around (or try to) and it doesn't bother Buddy one bit. He barely bats an eyelid. Buddy gets along well with the 2 other dogs he is living with and I think he will do well either in a home with another dog or on his own. Buddy does spend most of his time outside but when he is inside, he is very calm, never goes to the toilet and just like to have lots of cuddles and attention. There is nothing bad I can say about him and his new owner/s will not be disappointed.

Buddy was adopted on 19 December 2010 after 2 months in foster care

Beamer

Beamer

Pomeranian - male

Beamer is a lovely little boy that has just come into care from the pound. He is very friendlyand likes to be carried places like a baby, he does however walk well on a lead. He gets along with other dogs and loves company. At some stage of his life it looks as though his tail has been cut off andhe now only has a stumpy tail. He would be most suited to someone that is home alot to keep him company.

Beamer was adopted on 11 December 2010 after 4 weeks in foster care

Talli

Talli

Large x Breed - female

Talli is a BIG puppy, her paws are HUGE and she trips over them consistently so she is going to be a big girl!! She's a massive smooch, always right under your feet. She's been beautifully behaved, she was at home her first day in care by herself and we expected to find the yard ripped up and but nothing at all destroyed. She needs lead training and thst is starting now and I am sure she will pick it up quickly.

Talli was adopted on 27 November 2010 after 2 months in foster care

Lance

Lance

Cross Breed - male

Lance is definately the top dog in our house and if he is not eating or sleeping he is playing tug-of war with his foster mates and more often than not he is winning :) He has an adorable face with has some longer wiry patches. He would do well with another dog to play with as he is an active little fella.

Lance was adopted on 23 November 2010 after 1 month in foster care

Tia

Labrador - female

Tia is a beautiful loving chocolate Labrador, She would be great for a family as she is wonderful and sweet with any age children.Tia is friendly to everyone she meets and that includes other dogs.Tia is desexed, microchipped, up to date with all her needles and comes with her papers. Tia is looking for her forever home

Jax

Jax

Cross Breed - male

Jax is a very adorable boy with loads of energy and lots of love to give. Jax has a short coat with white spots. Jax gets along well with the 2 other dogs he is living with and although very curious and cheeky he also get along well with my 18 moth old son.he is quite responsive to the small amount of training I have started him on and will go on to do very well if this is continued in his new home. He probably will be medium to large size breed so his new owners will need to be prepared to give them lots of regular exercise and training and he will do well with another dog as a companion.
