Jade

Jade

Staffy x - female

Jade is a sweet, loving and affectionate girl who loves people and is quite obsessed with saying hello to everyone. She is very well toilet trained and we are very impressed with her obedience. She is very well behaved and we are happy to say only chews on her own chew toys!

Jade very much enjoys playing, but also knows when it is time to relax in front of the TV. While Jade is not a small dog she does not need an overly large yard. She only uses our yard to go to the toilet and play with us. Jade LOVES a cuddle and likes nothing more than relaxing for a belly rub. Jade is still only young and would benefit from another playful dog to play with or a home that will take her out a lot to play with other dogs. She will be great companion for a loving home with another dog or with people home often.

Jade was adopted on 29 September 2009 after 1 month in foster care

Bonnie

Bonnie

Maltese x - female

She's a lovely girl who doesn't bark and is house trained. She loves to be beside you all day and have her tummy rubbed. She's an indoor dog who doesn't like to be left outside on her own, she doesn't like toys but loves going for a walk. She gets along great with the other small dogs she's met. She seems happiest when with other dogs.

She has very fair skin so she can't spend too much time in the sun. She is a lovely girl who is an absolute pleasure to be around.

Coco

Coco

Chihuahua x - female

Coco is an incredibly cute and charming little girl. Although she is 7 years old - she doesn't know it and acts like a much younger dog. She loves to play with her foster brother Yoda and run round the yard. She is very well housetrained (she's fine with a doggie door) and loves being inside, as such we would like her to go to a family where she will be very much the inside family dog. She isn't a fussy eater at all and loves her food and has even been known to visit the chook pen next door to help herself to their bread, all without upsetting the chooks and even takes back bread to share for her doggie companions at home, now that's a caring sharing little girl. She travels well in the car and if she is off lead is very well behaved and she will not run off and always comes when called. Unfortunately Coco is camera shy so we haven't been able to get a picture that shows just how cute this girl is. She is not used to younger children (she tends to hide from them) so a family with kids over 8 would be preferred. Coco is fine with other similar sized dogs and loves to play with them. This girl is a real charmer and is waiting to find her forever home.

Snoopy

Snoopy

Fox Terrier x - male

Snoopy is a lovely little man, he is very quiet and friendly, good with children, ignores cats, he is a small size dog and will fit in well with any age family.

Snoopy was adopted on 17 September 2009 after 6 months in foster care

Fuzz

Fuzz

German Shepherd - female

She is a big dog with a big heart. Fuzz has been left alone far too much in her 3 year life span. This makes her desperate for your attention, pats and cuddles which means she can be a bit enthusiastic when first greeting you. She was not trained sufficiently as a puppy but has been making some strides in the right direction since coming into care. She does know how to Sit however Stay and Come are being worked on. She does know how to walk loose lead with me but needs to understand there can be more than one leader in her life. She gets over enthusiastic when meeting other dogs, common sense is lost and she strains on lead. She is not a fussy eater thank goodmess and is a healthy weight with a great long shaggy coat. She was living with a Jack Russell so should be OK with another doggie friend but introductions would need to be guided as her size, weight and sheer excitment could intimidate your dog. She doesn't have a nasty bone in her so with ongoing training she will make a great family pet. She in currently in a foster home with 3 children the youngest being 7. I would Rather not have her go to a family with younger children as they could easily be knocked about by accident.

Fuzz was adopted on 15 September 2009 after 3 weeks in foster care

Rusty

Rusty

Kelpie x - male

Rusty is Kelpie X (unsure of what he is crossed with). This means he is an intelligent and active dog. Rusty's will blossom in a home where someone is willing and able to spend time with him. Rusty has basic obedience training and is keen and willing to learn new things. He walks well on lead and loves a game of fetch! Rusty will make a loving addition to an active family.

Mischa

Mischa

Pomeranian x? - male

Love me, love me, love me. That is all Mischa wants. He is very affectionate and just wants to be with someone. He does get along with other dogs fine but may find them a bit boisterous. Mischa is fantastic with kids and is fine being picked up, cuddled, anything as long as he is getting attention. He does not suffer separatin anxiety though and is super quiet with hardly a peep out of him. Mischa loves his food so would be fine being left for a while with a bone for company. He also loves playing with his toys and enjoys a game of fetch. He does have a beautiful pomeranian coat which will require some grooming. Mischa is easy to walk on a lead and only needs small walks and could easily be walked by kids. He really would love a family or someone who would like a very affectionate lap dog. Mischa is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Mischa was adopted on 05 September 2009 after 2 months in foster care

Nigel

Nigel

Fox Terrier x - male

Nigel would be an ideal family dog and is no trouble at all. He does love a cuddle of a night, especially in the colder weather but is quite independent. He loves playing with his toys and does not bark at all. Nigel would be fine being left alone, just give him a bone to chew and he is more than happy. He is quite good on a lead but doesn't require too much exercise. Nigel is fine with other dogs so would be a good companion for another small dog. Nigel is very striking looking, with beautiful eyes and lovely liver patches. He is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Pebbles

Pebbles

Small - female

Terrier x

Pebbles is absolutely adorable and loves everyone. She was housetrained when she came into care and took to the doggy door straight away. Pebbles is not a yappy dog and rarely barks. She is definitely a lap dog and loves being picked up and will sit on your lap for hours. She does like getting out for a walk though and as she is still quite young will need regular exercise. Pebbles is good with other dogs but does like getting most of the attention so would be fine as an only dog. She is very well behaved and eats anything. Pebbles is great with children but would suit any household as long as she can be inside with everyone. Pebbles is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Pebbles was adopted on 05 September 2009 after 3 months in foster care

Rocky

Rocky

Jack Russell x - male

Rocky is a lovely natured, happy little dog. Rocky already knows how to sit and is well behaved indoors. Rocky is calm, friendly without being pushy and loves to play. He is very cuddly once he gets to know you and will make a great family pet.
