Patch and Junior (now Oliver and Charlie)'s story

Good morning!

I thought you might like an update on the adventures of two rotti boys that I got through your wonderful organisation. I got them in April of last year shortly after suddenly losing my beloved Rotti companion Jack, at 8 and a half years old.

The two boys (Oliver and Charlie) are now 18 months old - Oliver is substantially larger than his brother and is rather special, Charlie is very quick and clever. Oliver had an intensive bout with a knee infection at about 6 months of age and I almost lost him, he was in hospital for over a week. We did go to Puppy School when they were little - everyone else was tiny, my two were already giants but they had the best manners and could already do Sit and Stay at just 4 months so they were the stars of the class.

They still adore each other (and their mum!) and have the sweetest natures - they of course are still eating everything

including the kitchen walls, door frames, outdoor furniture etc but they are so full of the joy of life that they make you laugh too. They are great fun and wonderful companions. There is a big difference in their size so I would estimate Oliver at already being over 50 kgs while Charlie is around 30 kgs. I have attached some pix too of their various activities. Pretty much they are together all the time, including bed time.

Best regards to you all, you do wonderful work.....I had a tear or two when I read this current newsletter....

adopted on 23/03/06 after 2 weeks in foster care.
