Meet Cadbury

*Cadbury has now been re-homed but still has some outstanding medical fees.*

Hi, My name is Cadbury.
I am a Tabby Domestic Short Hair Kitten.
I've became lost and separated from my Mother and I'm currently in foster care with DCH being cared for until I am old enough to be adopted into a new family.

I was 3 weeks old when I came into DCH.

I cannot wait to meet my new family, but first I have to be over 8 weeks old and I need to weigh over 1kg. I am hoping to be available for adoption in mid to late December.

I currently have lots of growing to do and I hope you don't mind waiting for me. I wanted to introduce myself and I am hoping that the right person will see me and will want to adopt me in due course.

I will be desexed, wormed, 1st F3 vaccinated, microchipped and will have had flea prevention applied which will all be arranged by my lovely carers at DCH.

If you have any questions about adopting me in a few weeks, please feel free to contact my DCH carer.

** Sponsorship Required 20/Nov/2014: Cadbury has been struggling to put on weight and to grow and has a few medical issues that are being addressed by our wonderful vets. He has needed several courses of medication and fluids and is still undergoing treatment and observation. His medical treatment to date is $128. We're doing all we can to save this little boy and any support towards his care is greatly appreciated

26/11 - Update. The medications and the treatment from our wonderful vets are working wonders. Cadbury has put on weight over the last week and is visibly looking and feeling better. Over the last 2 days he has been up and actually has been playing with his sisters and has been running around which is a first for him. I have captured some video today as it was great to see the improvement. So far his stool tests have all come back negative for anything. He has a follow-up vet visit on Friday morning and I think they will be amazed at the difference from the previous 2 weeks.

18/12 - Update. A special thanks to Phyllida who has donated $20 towards Cadbury's medical expenses. Cadbury has outstanding medical fees of $108 remaining.

Cadbury was adopted on 18 December 2014 after 1 month in foster care
