Meet Trudy (now Jesse)

Trudy

*Indoor Only Cat*

Trudy and her siblings, Tashi, Tully and Taz, were found abandoned at a construction site at Schofields. They have been bottle-fed and hand raised and so have become very affectionate and confident with people.

Trudy starts to purr as soon as she is picked up. She has a beautifully soft coat and always loves to snuggle in for a cuddle. She is very playful but whenever she wants a rest, she does prefer to be on someone's lap!

Trudy has a funny little croaky meow which can be quite loud if she would like your attention. She will also untie your shoelaces so that you notice her! This pretty tabby girl is very people friendly but has not met young children and, although still nervous around our big dogs, she is becoming used to them.

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. Trudy is also litter-trained and socialised with other kittens.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to come and meet Trudy!

You are most welcome to arrange a visit - please check the current DCH social isolation Covid-19 operating guidelines, linked at the top of this page.

PLEASE NOTE: Although Trudy will reach adoption age and weight (at least 8 weeks and 900grams), by Monday 25th May 2020, she will still be too little for desexing. You will need to sign a delayed desexing agreement to have Trudy desexed (at DCH cost), as soon as possible at a DCH affiliated vet closest to you, as soon as she is over 12 weeks and 1kg.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH
