Meet Maddie

AVAILABLE FOR MEET AND GREET AND REHOMING NOW!

Mum and her 4 kittens (Lucy, Leo, Maddie and Milo) were surrendered into the care of DCH after being rescued struggling to survive in a back garden. They were all treated for cat flu immediately, only for them to develop ringworm (a common fungal condition) during their recovery. The poor little mites were, however well fed, vet treated, medicated and bathed to make them all better, and basically have been pampered as though they are in a spa! Despite being in isolation in a (rather large) space until recently, they’ve also had a great time - playing with just about anything, getting up to mischief, sleeping, eating, and snuggling with each other and their foster mum.

Like all kittens, they are full of beans in between naps – particularly just after dinner and early morning!

Maddie is a fluffy girl, like her sister and mum. She doesn’t demand attention, but is happy to accept being picked up and stroked. She’s quite playful and was the first kitten to find out how much fun a toilet roll can be! She does love to play with her brother, the mighty Milo.

Now fully healed, each member of the family is ready for his/her furever home. A family without resident cats or dogs would be preferable – so maybe you’d wish to consider adopting more than one of this little tribe! All must be indoor-only kitties – particularly as they all have little pink noses, which can be susceptible to skin cancer.

Maddie is vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated, and desexed. So she is raring to go!

If you are interested in learning more about little Maddie, or wish to visit her at her foster home in Colyton, please contact Daphne.
