Meet Susie

Susie has come into DCH foster care after being abandoned by her owner at a vet clinic.

We don't know much about her background but we believe she is used to being an outside cat based on her behaviour. However, we recommend she remains an INDOORS-only cat.

She is an amiable girl and likes pats and attention however it has to be on her terms. She does not like being picked up and will only like some pats and attention before telling you she has had enough. She is a big kitten at heart and loves to play with toys and chase toys.

She has some fiery characteristics and as such, we recommend she goes into a home with no other cats or dogs. She is not open to receiving oral meds and reacts badly so we recommend worming treatments are done using spot-on treatments like profender rather than tablets.

She is currently using crystal litter and uses the litter box well however she does tend to dig a bit so a high-sided litter tray is recommended.

She has been desexed and has received vaccinations, worming and flea treatments.

Her next F3 vaccination is due August 2023 however due to the situation we have an incomplete vaccination record for her.

Susie was adopted on 28 November 2022 after 2 months in foster care
