Meet Apollo

We'd like to introduce you to an adorable 8-week-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross puppy named Apollo who is eagerly searching for a loving forever home. This little pup, along with six of its siblings, were found abandoned in a box in Western Sydney when they were just 4.5 weeks old. Luckily they were found and taken to a council shelter and have ended up in care with DCH Animal Adoptions. With some tender loving care and veterinary attention, they have made an incredible recovery and are now thriving despite their rough start to life.

Estimated Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. They have been microchipped as a staffy x however as they were dumped in a box we have no idea what Mum or Dad really was. Some identification apps see some Kelpie or Patterdale Terrier in the mix from the photos. They do appear to be a mixed breed.
Estimated Age: 8 weeks (Estimated DOB 6-5-23)
Location: Quakers Hill NSW 2763

Personality:
This puppy is a true bundle of joy! Despite their difficult start in life, they have emerged as playful, happy, and energetic little characters. They approach each day with a wagging tail and a contagious zest for life. Their resilience is truly remarkable, and they will undoubtedly bring boundless happiness to their future family.

Apollo is specifically a very vocal and friendly dog. He loves attention and will happily sit next to your legs and soak up attention. He is much calmer than his sisters and seems to really prefer human company over his siblings. He will tend to carry on a little if you leave him along but does eventually settle.

Health:
After being discovered in a vulnerable state, these puppies received immediate veterinary attention and TLC. They have made great strides in their health and are now in a much better condition. They have been regularly dewormed, 1st vaccinated and will be desexed prior to adoption. Ongoing Regular veterinary check-ups during their 1st year will be important to ensure their continued well-being due to the neglected state that they were found in. They may have a degree of Ricketts due to early malnutrition and will need to be feed premium large breed puppy food.

Ideal Home:
We are seeking a loving and committed family who understands the responsibilities and joys of raising a puppy. This little one craves attention, love, and guidance. An active household with a secure yard or access to regular exercise opportunities would be a great fit. This pup would be overjoyed to have playmates, whether they are human or other friendly animals.

Training:
As a young puppy, this Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross is a blank slate ready to learn and grow. Positive reinforcement training techniques, combined with patience and consistency, will help them become a well-mannered and obedient companion. Puppy socialization and basic obedience classes are highly recommended to set them up for success.

Commitment:
Bringing a puppy into your home is a long-term commitment. Please ensure you have the time, resources, and willingness to provide the care, love, and attention this little one deserves. They will reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and companionship.

If you believe you can offer this delightful Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross puppy a safe and loving forever home, filled with endless playtime and a lifetime of cherished memories, please get in touch. They are eagerly awaiting their chance to become a beloved member of a loving family.

Thank you for considering adoption and giving this precious pup a second chance at a happy and fulfilling life.

Note: They will be available for adoption once recovered from their desexing surgery which is booked for 4th July.
